What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
SerenityInFire replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The new Droid Escape Pod, the new Homing Spider Droid and the new Clone Turbo Tank. -
If I'm not mistaken, that's the same dude from the battle pack that's coming out.

The links are working now. I wonder what went wrong before.
-
I've clicked all the links but it keeps saying the folder is not yet public.

While I didn't much care for the theme at first, I've grown to rather like Nexo Knights. Despite this, I hope the series doesn't become evergreen like Ninjago so that we can eventually get a proper medieval Lego castle theme.

Best Ninjago villain minifigure.
SerenityInFire replied to benderisgreat's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For me it's a tie between Morro and Kozu. I've never seen the Ninjago show, so my opinion is based solely on the minifigs. -

I would love it if Lego did sets based on Disney's Gargoyles show. Those would be epic! I would also be very pleased is Lego were to pick up the Mobile Suit Gundam license. They could do sets of the ships with the mobile suits as minifigures.

Hello, and as you can guess by my current profile pic, I am a fan of heavy metal. My favorite subgenre is Thrash Metal, though I do listen to quite a few bands from other subgenres. Some of my favorite bands are: Judas Priest Megadeth In Flames Dark Tranquillity Metal Church Testament Morbid Saint Death Dismember Kataklysm Living Sacrifice Immortal Satyricon Demolition Hammer Kreator Bloodbath

That bottom one reminds me of that puzzle from God of War 3.

Lego Ninjago 2016
SerenityInFire replied to LegendsOfNinjago's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I can't say I'm too impressed with the new sets other than Jay's Elemental Dragon. Maybe I'll warm up to them more once they come out and I can read some reviews and get a better look at them. -
That's pretty ingenious.

Lego Ninjago 2016

Looks like they're reusing Kozu's torso piece on the flaming sword guy. -
REVIEW: 70736 Attack of the Morro Dragon
SerenityInFire replied to Exetrius's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'm not much of a fan of Ninjago and was never really impressed with the sets at all. That said, Attack of the Morro Dragon is absolutely fantastic and many of the sets in the "ghost wave" have really appealed to me. -
Just wondering - How much money did you poor into that thing?
-
I honestly think LEGO could do The Elder Scrolls. Oblivion and Skyrim are quite tame for M rated games, and the first three games were rated Teen, as well as the spin-off games. The possibilities for sets would be endless.
-
I own two blacksmith attacks. I use one for the lion knights and one for the dragon knights.
-
Depends on the kid.
-
I just hope Nexo Knights opens the door for more historic/fantasy castle themes.
-
That's a pretty nice approximation of the official set you've got there.
-
Maybe what we as lego castle fans should do here on Eurobricks is come up with our own historic themed IP and submit sets based on it to Lego Ideas.

I just want to say that Mega Man X8 is a very good game. Not as good as the 2D MMX games, but it's still good. You might be thinking of X7, where it had auto-aiming and obnoxious 3D levels. To stay on topic, I'd say Fortrex is a castle. It's just that it's on tank treads.
