Primitive medieval guns were really nothing more than just metal or wooden tubes filled with gunpowder and lit with a fuse. They weren't used much as you had as much a chance of blowing yourself up as you did firing the weapon.

I am... most impressed.

I think the smoke is he highlight of this build. It's an excellent build overall along with impressive scale, but the smoke just looks so natural.- 40 replies

There are no words that exist that can describe the awesomeness of this castle.

That's pretty sweet. Very old-school.

What's in store for Castle in 2015?

I dunno about the cute orcs. I much prefer LotR's orcs because they're mean. -

I've just been buying things off of bricklink these days; some pieces for building castles, some red lion knights from Kingdoms and the mast from the Sea Serpent.

I'm a fan of the Black Knights because that's what I grew up with. This last Castle line was decent, but Kingdoms and Fantasy era were superior IMHO. -
A most excellent micro build.

I don't know what it is with me, I just can't seem to put anything together. I don't know how to translate my ideas into Lego form and I just get really frustrated. Anyone else out there have any suggestions for me or anything?

Does anyone else here struggle with MOCs?
SerenityInFire replied to SerenityInFire's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
So far the only MOC's I have built have been based on actual sets; using instructions, substituting pieces here and there, expanding it a bit. I have a lot of trouble coming up with my own ideas. -

Sir, if you don't work for Lego, you really should. -
I haven't been able to find pics online, but does anyone know if the Witch King Battle comes with a fel beast and that awesome helmet?

That's quite a nice build there. Very WarCraft-esque.

I like it!

I put that there just to see who would catch it.

Nice work! I love how you did the house and the well.

Amazing work. Simply Amazing.

I already have 2 of the Gatehouse Raid but I might consider a third at $20. Personally, I'd get the Red Dragon battle pack just to even up the number of soldiers. Sure, they have a dragon, but they could still use some more guys, even at least as just food for the dragon.
