Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'll be sure to have the top overhang the front of the tower in the next update, and I'll had some gargoyles and spikes too. I suppose they would, but they look so dang good as they are. :)

[WIP] [MOC] Kangaxx's tower (evil wizard). Need advice.
SerenityInFire replied to alainphoto's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I admire your work! I unfortunately don't have enough room in my evil wizard tower for a prison/torture chamber, so I'll tell you what I had planned. There should be two racks - one for giving your victims a good stretch and another to hold various torture tools: hammers, saws, knives and the like. There should also be a chair with handcuffs. In addition to the torture chamber there should be chamber with spellbooks, potions and mystical objects where the evil wizard can do research into various arcane magics. I think there should also be a room with a table that has maps on it where the wizard can gather with his generals to orchestrate battle plans. There should also be a room where the wizard can store his various treasures and the spoils of war. For added realism, you can throw buckets into prison cells for prisoners to use as chamber pots and include an extra room with a bucket where the evil wizard would do poo. I hope these ideas can help you in your creation of Wizard Tower 2.0! -
A queen for the Lion Crownies and a King for the Green Dragons
SerenityInFire posted a topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Greetings my fellow castle fanatics, I am currently building up castles, bases and armies for the following castle factions: the crownies, skeletons, orcs, kingdoms red lions, kingdoms green dragons, the crown lions and the red dragons. I've collected the kings, queens and princesses for each faction (with the obvious exception of the orcs and skeletons) with just one problem: There are no kings or queens for the green dragons and no queen for the crown lions. I know there's also no king or queen for the red dragons, but that's ok since they're led by a wizard. My question to y'all is what torsos would work best for a crown lion queen as well as the king and queen for the green dragons? -
I really like the illustrations on the package art for these sets. They're really beautifully done.

Fire Breathing Armored Dragon
SerenityInFire replied to Siercon and Coral's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Is there any danger of the dragon melting when it's breathing fire? -
If we get orcs in the castle theme, I just hope they're mean like the LotR orcs. The orcs in the fantasy era just weren't mean enough.

I'm currently building a skeleton army for my Evil Wizard CMF. Some are fantasy era skellies while some are using this torso from Ninjago:

Wow, awesome work! This is one of those pieces where the walls are untextured but do not look plain at all. -

I just recently got the AT-AT, Death Star Troopers, TIE Advanced Prototype, Mos Eisley Cantina, Corporate Alliance Tank Droid and the AT-AP. As it turns out, my AT-AP was missing a piece, so I had to order a replacement off of bricklink. -
That is pure awesomeness.
