Yes! You can intersect them! It seems easier for the PIRATE Fan to use Castle elements - paticularily for buildings - I have wanted to make a Fortress out of grey Castle Pieces... Hideouts with Black Castle pieces... Many of the non-armoured Castle Bodies can be used for Civilians in the pirate time-line - that also works with pirate-bodies in the Castle timeline! Go for it! There just can't be an armoured Knight fighting an Musket wielding Imperial Guard! Unless you want it to of course!

Cool Ship! I love the roof and dark bley/gray that it has! That REALLY makes me want to see a good non juni0rized castle sets again! And most importantly a NAVAL Castle theme... If not at least lets get some System Pirates back! WHat a shame it will never, EVER, happen!

Paul Martin's campaign sucked so its no wonder he lost. Can you believe those adds they had out? I don't like Conservatives but something had to happen. As long as Harper doesn't try dismantling Public Healthcare or becoming buddy buddy with the United States(I want us to be close to the United States, without them we are ALOT worse off)... but the fact Harper has told them to fook off in concerns to OUR Arctic Waters, has made me actually like the guy. I am all for gay marriage and peoples rights, and I don't like how Harper is going to try to take away gay Marriage... but if the Free Vote doesnt change the matter, than Harper is probably going to bury it and leave it alone. His childcare plan (if what I read was correct) was a little better than the Liberals. But than again, the Liberals were going to pay part of University Tuition... so i'm a little dissapointed about that. Paul Martin lost his fire. he used to be this crazy guy who was somewhat charismatic and you wouldn't mind backing. By the election, he was just pathetic. The NDP would be interesting but as someone said I dont think they could hold up enough. I would love to see them as the main opposition. If they could work the United States on things than I think it would be great for them to take power actually! Harper will be held in check by 3 left-leaning parties (The Liberals under Paul martin were leaning pretty far left). I think he won't be able to dismantle the Healthcare system or take away Gay marriage. And with his promise to defend Canadian Soverignity up north, i'm pretty excited to see what he can do. I still think he is a douche though LOL and I wonder if Stephen Harper will ever meet Bono and attempt to help Africa like Paul Martin did :oo

Less Juni0rized Castle sets. Less Juni0rized Town sets. I would love to see a return to The Adventurers... another journey for them. People brought up Atlantis, Antartica, and Center of the Earth ideas, which would be really cool. This would of course include cool vehicles and cool locales for the team to go to. A "Desert Knights" theme based on Middle Eastern Medieval Architecture and Style. An Ancients theme featuring Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians (preferably different each year) or "Castle" themes influenced by the stylings of the 3 civilizations. Like EVERYONe has pointed out - a REGULAR town theme... I dunt know why having a cool looking new Restrauant or Supermarket or Gas Station CAN'T be Interesting anymore... or god forbid... a HOUSE? I like most of what the new town sets are doing(Minifigs get cooler and cooler)... they just gotta stop with all the Police/Fire stuff. It was nice to see the Medical theme... but there is ltierally NO ONE to heal but Firemen and Police officers! More Vikings! (Thankfully this will come true) Create a Minifig is definately a cool idea. and... PIRATES :|

Do you guys think that with the addition of actual guns in Batman line (any good discussion of the addition of modern guns into Lego anywhere?) we may soon see some Military lego lines?

i leave for 2 freaking monthes and all of a sudden whenever u say 'j unior ized' some mod who likes KK2 converts our text! The new "Viking Army" set that could possibly be made may set a trend if the "viking army" as translated properly. Lets hope this Viking ARmy may start other armies. Clone Trooper/Storm Trooper armies for the Starwars fans... and Imperail and Knight armies for us Pirate Fans!

I like all of them although If I had to choose a least favourite it would be episode 4... I think the problem with the acting for the most part could be George Lucas' being the director. I laughed when Anakin did his little "I slaughtered them... like ANIMALS" thing in episode II Not because I think he is a bad actor... but I think there wasnt enough inspiration. We know Mark Hammil is definately not a good actor... but he did fine in the original trilogy... it worked. I think Ewan MacGregor was good as Obi Wan...

Yes... an Oil Rig would be cool... it could come with a bunch of figures... and the rig itself could even have a tiny office(somewhere inside the giant (32x32 baseplate) structure) where the big oil tycoon could be sitting. Lego could use lots of cool parts and things to make the oilrig have neat little functions too... it would be an amazing set! Actually... in addition to this they should have a whole THEME based on the OilRig The Oil Rig: Large Set ($79.99-$99.99) An Oil Ship: Large Set (59.99-79.99) (Kind of like the big red ship that came with the big Seaports of the early 90's town theme) Oil Port: Large set ($69.99) with smaller Oil Tanker and a port with other cool stuff you'd see at an Oil Port... Depot: ($29.99) A small building with Storage tanks built on a roadbaseplate for a small truck that comes with the set. Truck: 14.99 - Oil Tanker truck... Only obviously problem with this theme is it is too cool and obviously too expensive as I can't think of a way of making sets to fit this theme that are small... because almost eveyrthing to do with Oil is so big! These would all be a good source of BLey and cool minifigures! (One of the few things Lego HAS done right lately is the type of minifigs they release - the new torsos alwasy look great - they just need MORE in each set!)

Wasn't this only because the Confederates were losing badly and would take up anyone who could fight? I heard at this point they were recruiting older men and even kids as young as 14 or 15(Im not 100% sure of the age but they were going younger than 18). Now, I am not 100% sure... but didn't Lincoln only end slavery because he knew it would cripple the South during the war years? If I recall I read a quote where Lincoln said if he could end the war without ending slavery he would do it. Again... just things I am remembering from American History. What were the main reasons for the Civil War? State vs Federal Government I know was one... I think Slavery became an issue later in the war but it wasn't an initial factor I dont think... I wish there was a "What-If" article I could read that would give a prediction on what would have happened if the Confederates won the civil war. It would be very interesting...

LoL. I wish. My knowledge is very thin actually... We only did a very fast overview of each area of American History in grade 10 and I remember it in a thin layer as opposed to bits and pieces! (Do you guys even have the option to take a Canadian History in High School? Every grade 10 History class in Winnipeg is American History... except it is optional so 80% of the students didn't take it... but I knew better ahaha) It fascinates me, American History. Not because Canadian History is boring(there just isn't as many wars!) but because all the AMerican stuff is on a grander, more epic scale. Canadian History has its fair share of little battles and divisions but as you can tell(we never had a Civil War lol) it isn't as big. Damn I should Major in North American History...

Maybe it is due to the fact I am Canadian... but I would be on the side of the Union. Because Canada didn't have the same history as the US(We never had strong 'state' governments like the USA did back than)... and because we were still part of the British Empire unlike the United States was... we disbanded Slavery early and it never became a very important Economic Factor like it did the South. But I think a strong central government is a better way to make a country work. (Maybe my history lessons are off... but isnt one of the reasons for the Civil War was that the South wanted a stronger State Government as opposed to a stronger National Government?) And obviously I'm against slavery and racism... I hope it is because I am a compassionate person who does not feel greater than anyone based on race/creed/ect but who knows if I was alive 150 years ago... Its just a shame that today the Confederate Flag(what is the name of it?) is always considered a symbol of Racism and Slavery... it has alot more to it than that! As for who had the better Generals... I do not know enough about this. I really hope that I don't come across as an ignorant jerk. I am actually just a graduate trying to remember something from his Grade 10 American History class :D. If I am wrong correct me because I love History.

And you were given Pirates Four Plus! - what a let down... Yes! And from that pointed forward I officially declared that LEGO had let me down. Next time they better get it right! Phes... out of curiosity... for the monthes before the crappy 4+ Pirates were announced... were there rumours of a new Pirate line coming out and did you know if they were Jack Stone crap at first or was there hope it would be Minifig Scale? I can't imagine what the letdown would be like. Probably the same as when we all discovered the new Starcraft game was going to be a Third Person Shooter instead of a Strategy game..
