    Still speaking to Ettin, Mizuki said to him "To be honest, the reason why my compatriots and I are here, is to hunt down the sea beast. I'm not saying that you need to help us in any way, but the quicker the sea beast is taken down, the faster you and your house can profit without the chances of your merchant ships going missing. If you could aid us, we would be pretty damn grateful."

    After waiting for Kiray to finish reading, Mizuki rolled up the paper and passed it to Ettin. "This one's on me."

    "Not yet........thanks for the gold." Mizuki said as she pocketed the coins. Still holding the Elixirs, she passed them to the cleric. "See if you can save him. I guess his life is sort of in your hands now." Moving on to the hobgoblin, she passed him twenty gold coins. "Copy of the Eubric Herald please."

    Running over to Kiray, Mizuki said to her "Can you do me a favour ? I sort of need two gold coins." As she waited, she noted the guy bleeding like crazy. Going through her things, she pulled out two bottles of elixir and yelled to the cleric "You think these might at least help in in some way ?"

    "Give me a moment." Mizuki said to Ettin, before she turned to face the Hobgoblin selling newspapers. "Umm, how much would it cost for a copy of the Eubric Herald ?

    "So what do you think has gone on with the dissapearences ? Pirates ? Storms ? Sea Creatures ?"

    "By the sounds of things, I'm going to guess that your lucrative business might not be exactly one hundred percent legal, isn't it ? You a smuggler, or just a merchant ?"

    Mizuki walks up to the cloaked man standing next to the bird with a goblet filled with some mysterious substance. "If you don't mind me asking, what's exactly inside the cup......."

    Mizuki asked Kiray "Should we just move on and look for more crew, or do you want to get us involved with this ?" "

    "No need to hassle the town watch. Even though they look pretty bad in keeping the peace in Eubric, I wouldn't want us to get into a fight with them."

    "Taverns might also have sailors, especially those near the docks and chances are, people at the docks probably already have a job. " Mizuki noted.

    Nodding at how Captain Lane joined their team, Mizuki thought back to the riot back at the Hovels. There were certainly Bonaparte soldiers, and they were definitely proficient in warfare. Granted that they were elite cannoneers, Mizuki still expected that normal Bonaparte soldiers could hold their ground in battle. Looking towards Captain Lane, Mizuki passed a Fire Bomb to him and said to him "You might want to take this. Spare bombs never hurt, especially if you carry a Handcannon."

    "Not to doubt your leadership, but unless any one of you wishes to ask Vice Admiral Melville any more questions or request anything from him, I'd suggest we'd better start heading out and getting a start soon."

    "Guys, most people aren't going to work for free. Especially if they're sellswords and adventurers. Your'e going to need some way to uhh, persuade them to crew the ship."

    Whispering to the rest of her party, Mizuki says "We're probably going to need a lot more ships to take down the beast if the rumors are true that the sea beast eats ships by the mouthful."

    Taking off her Quickdraw Quiver, Mizuki tossed it over to Actaeon. "If your shots aim true, this will help you a lot." Mizuki went to grab her foxtail and equipped it.Turning to face the captain, Mizuki said to him, "I got a question, do you know its general location or are we going to have to go search for it in the sea ?"

    Nodding at the ranger's request, Mizuki fumbled with her stuff and pulled out her Sylph Shuriken and her Top Hat. "Just remember, if you're going to throw them, please remember to retrieve them," she added as she passed them onto Francis.

    "Alright, I do own a heavier shield of orcish make but it should be slightly more durable then the shield you currently own. This fleuret should be better for general fighting then the rito longsword you use right now. Finally, I'll give you something special." Searching her stuff, Mizuki passed over to Kiray her Orcish Shield, Fleuret and Lucky DIe. "Please do be careful with the blade. It's from a relatively important family. Also, try not to lose my lucky die, that was a costly item to get hold of."

    "I'd be under the impression that the man's name is Lane." Mizuki said as she watched the man carefully. Turning to the rest of the party, she noticed that they didn't look that experienced in adventuring and combat. Their equipment was decent, but it was the sort of stuff that she used when she first started questing for Heroica. "Uhh, guys if you need some better equipment, I'd be happy to lend you some."

    Looking at the market place, Mizuki headed for a certain merchant's stall and turned up at Portia's potion shack upon where she purchased 6 nostrums for 210 gold. Handing over the coins and recieving the goods, she looked into her pouch and saw that she only had 18 gold left. With her coin pouch considerably lightened, Mizuki headed back to the hall to prepare for the upcoming quest. (228-210=18)
