    LOTR & The Hobbit 2012

So far, there are sets from The Hobbit scheduled to be released this winter in accordance with the release date of the film, but seeing as so many people have been pining for LEGO LOTR for so long, we'll most likely see some new LOTR come next year.

I believe it's the envelope that Frodo puts the ring into in FOTR. EDIT: Oops, looks like mObbY beat me to it!

Now that you show the actual bigature, it looks very accurate. Odd how I never noticed that tan belly in the film, sorry for being pessimistic.

Ooooh. I still think it looks too drastic, though...

So, I know I was the last to post on this thread, but it's been quite inactive, so... Don't get me wrong, I love the cave troll in Moria, but does anyone else find it a bit odd that TLG felt the need to add a shirt to the troll? The tan block on its chest kinda bugs me. If you watch the film, the troll is quote clearly naked. Oh, well. I can still live with it!

    Ruins in the Wilderness...

This is great! I'm a huge fan of that broken wall design... Mind if I use it?

Aagorn's legs are currently very annoying. I'll most likely swap them out for something from the Pirates of the Caribbean line.

Yeah, I didn't consider that. I'm a yellowist too. I guess it is better...

Yeah, the Hobbit legs' lack of furry feet makes me sad... :/ Maybe someone will make some custom legs? Just kidding! Mostly.

That's okay, I love capes I currently have a single green one that I'll probably use for Legolas and lots of brown ones, different shades, with a couple reds mixed in.

On an altogether separate topic, has there been a confirmation concerning the white hand prints on the orc forge Uruk hai? The (prelim) box has it but the (prelim) figure doesn't. Is it specified which is correct or is it still pending?

It's the latest fashion, I personally drive an August. Quite handy for cramped roads.

Exactly! :D I was looking at him with my friend and we decided to buy a few on bricklink... That breastplate is incredible!

    LOTR & The Hobbit 2012

I went through all the FBTB pics again and noticed that every body and head is a new print! That's what shows me the LEGO company is putting their backs into making this theme good... I'm really looking forward to Uruk Hai army. That'll probably be the first set I get.

    "Big Bear"

This is great, for some reason it reminds me of 'Queer Lodgings' from The Hobbit. (that's definitely a compliment! :D)

    LOTR & The Hobbit 2012

Sting and the hobbits are what make the set for me. I know it was a ridiculous hope, but I'm still kind of sad they didn't do printed hobbit feet... in case you couldn't tell, I'm a die hard hobbit fan ;D Anyway, I agree about the string. Even if they do use black string, it wouldn't really matter to me. I would barely use it. I mean, Shelob is not on my list of favorite scenes, even though it was great. I'm wondering about the potential for extra weapons. Any of the pirate fans here remember how the potc sets always came with that extra cutlass? If they had extra highlander swords in these sets, I would practically die squealing!

    What's your latest acquisition?

Today I got a CMF highlander ( The sword is awesome! ) and a Kingdoms Prison Carriage Rescue (which is quite nice for building generic lion knight/dragon knight armies). And the weird part is that I got them at Barnes & Noble.
