I thought that until the checkout. It cost 9 Euro for me to send it to Australia (per set, bought at different times). I believe that is very cheap indeed.
  11. Two more sets arrived today. 8099 Midi-scale Imperial Star Destroyer and 8092 Luke's Landspeeder. I hope to use the midi ISD in a display with the mini from the SSD, the 6211 ISD and the 10030 ISD. Still waiting on my SSD to arrive however.
  12. So the first London Bridge arrived today from Amazon Fr. It took 6 days to arrive after placing the order. The shipping was the cheapest option and cost 9 Euro. The condition of the package was good. There was a slight dent in the box but nothing to be worried about. All in all with the fast shipping and great price I am very happy :)
  13. Sandcrawler 10144 added to the collection. Nice to throw some colour all be it brown into the very grey Star Wars collection.

  15. Amazing, not the best bedside clock but a truly skillful feat.
  16. Thats quite amazing having all of those functions off the RC. Time and patience :)
  17. Sweet ride! I think it looks fantastic and I am loving the chrome as it is not something that usually features prominently in Lego.

[UCS MOC] Escape from Docking Bay 327

Absolutely amazing, I would love to house my Falcon in a setting like that but what a project to undertake. My hat is off to you well done.
  19. Lego should be used for the forces of good not evil lol I am thinking a table top with cup holders to sit above the wheels. Some IR receivers, motors etc and you can have a techinc waiter :)
  20. I hate living in a small city, I think it will be many years before we see a costco up here (I may not be alive to see it lol). (PS $ 79.99 OMG)

Similar circumstances, I have just purchased 2 x London Bridges on Amazon Fr and would have gladly done it through EB if I had of known. I did try for the Imperial shuttle through Amazon Fr but unfortunatly they will not ship that set to Australia. Anywho will definately keep this in mind, cheers.
  22. I am house bound for a week now so I am relying on you all to let me know when the Black Pearl hits a chain store near you! I will then send beloved Wifey off on a quest to attain the aforementioned Black Pearl for me bounty, arrgghh (sorry got a bit piratey towards the end there) On topic though the local Toyworld is having a sale currently but the sale items don't seem to match the latest cataogue which is valid from the 27/10/11 to the 6/11/11. Was checking out the Shuttle 10231 in particular which should be going for $129.00 during the sale. Possibly I was too early today? Police Station 7498 $119.00 Marina 4644 $ 59.99 Fire Temple 2507 $ 159.00 Earth Dragon Defense 2509 $ 49.99 Flatbed truck 8109 $ 129.00 Shuttle 10231 $ 129.00 Earth Defense 7066 $ 129.00 Darth Vader clock $ 39.99
  23. First off I blame all of you for my most recent purchase! lol I have given Amazon Fr a go and ordered the London Bridge 10214. The set comes down from 199 Euro to 166 Euro with the taxes removed and shipping is a paultry 9.26 Euro. Imagine trying to ship this set from the US for that kind of price. So all told the price came to $ 231.00 AUD shipped... nice :)
  24. Nice list there, makes my job easier lol
  25. Survey completed but where was the (Do you think Lego is priced fairly in your country?) question? lol
