Thanks for sharing, I appreciate these personal Legoland shots. I can pretend they are the photo's from my visit seeing as it will be a long time before I set foot in a Legoland in person.

Absolutly amazing work, the time, patience and skill that has gone into these scenes is to be commended.

Not sure how I missed this thread for so long, some amazing shots in here. Inspires me to get a decent camera and a lighting rig etc lol

The other half got me the Imperial Shuttle for Xmas, she didn't realise I already have one sitting in the cupboard and I was still very greatful so I will just hang onto the extra one for now.

Looks great with more detail and in proportion compared to the LEGO version

You have inspired me to mod my 10030 but it will have to wait until I actually build it for the first time. Love the detail you have added.

Ok so keep this on the down low, the family doesn't need to know (knudge knudge wink wink) I saw the emporium price and then just couldn't resist the additional discounts. Got 10211, 10216, 10199 and 7929 for a total combined price including shipping of 165.40 Euro. Thats hella cheap lol So remember this never happened ok :)

I was torn with this one. The only time I would keep a set long term (a few years) would be if I had bought two sets and was holding on to one to gift or resell. At the moment I am saving the larger sets I have until I move into our new home, there will be dedicated shelves in the theater room to hold all of my bigger Lego sets.

I actually enquired about adding my Lego to my contents insurance the other day. I just have to pull my finger out and gather up all the receipts. I got my 8043 through a BrickLink Seller, Bricks2Play (highly recommended) for 104 Euro but I think the shipping brings the prices back into line seeing as no one seems to be able to ship as cheaply as Amazon do.

Congrats, it sounds like a good deal to me. I went the PriceUSA route and whilst it was way better than the AUS rrp it was not this good.

I had the original Death Star II and did not really like this new set but after I spent some time looking at the finer detail and all the scene's which are played out I changed my mind (Lego collectors prerogative). Mine is still in its box until I move some time later next year. At that time I will rebuild alot of my larger sets to put on display (yes I am excited about this lol).

Its Red, its chunky, I like it.

Yes I have seen, how very lame of them. Its seems every single sale I have seen for months now has excluded Lego. That is the only item I buy from them (sigh) All is not lost now that Eurobricks has helped me find Amazon Fr.

I have watched the countdown go to zero, tried to make a purchase but cannot get any discount of a Lego item. Anyone know how this 50% discount is meant to work?
