Three of everyone? That's surprising. Personally, I'm mostly interested in the villains. Red Hood, Orca, Harriet, and Calculator mainly. Probably also Eraser because he's so ridiculous. May also pick up Lobster Batman, Dick, and Commissioner Gordon.

I google image searched "penguin arctic roller" and got a picture of a penguin on roller skates... Found an image shortly after and am really digging it aside from Minifig selection. Looks like the Lego Batman Movie sets are going to make me broke.

Wow, that sucks. Hate to hear that. If you can, I'd highly suggest searching online for them. If you have the full collection aside from Series 9, then they're definitely worth hunting down. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend tracking down Mysto. Probably my favorite Mixel out of the entire line. Best of luck to you!

Wow. Wonderful usage of those IFB Cocoons. I'm shocked at how well they work for making curves even though that seems completely obvious. Like, (and I know this sounds weird, but) I can't get over how good it works for her bust. Honestly, my only issue (and this may just be the photography) is that she seems to be leaning forward. Like, the waist is set a bit too far... Otherwise, amazing job! Mind if I draw pictures of her sometime?

Exploration Robots looks incredible. Very curious about the alternate builds because the one shown is already a thing of beauty. Hopefully the B and C models look just as good!

Don't know where else to bring this up, but this Nexo Knights set (along with The Three Brothers and Jestro's Headquarters) has the lightning piece (the one that was used on pretty much every Protector) in purple. Or some kind of purple and light blue blend. A very welcome addition to the lineup of colors for that piece. Also a welcome addition are the spring green (or whatever it's called) CCBS shells on this Dragon from Elves. So we may not be getting a new Constraction line next wave (who knows if this year), but we're certainly still getting some nice recolors. EDIT: Alongside whatever SW brings us.

Been stalking this thread for a while. Figured I'd give my thoughts. Coming from a guy who doesn't normally collect Superheroes sets, I really like these. Mostly the minifigs, but the sets are really cool too. Right now I plan on getting Mr. Freeze, Clayface, and Croc as they're some of my favorite baddies. I may also pick up the Joker Ballon set and maaaaybe the Scuttler since I absolutely adore that Poison Ivy figure. Haven't decided on Riddler, but I do love that Calendar Man. Also, I keep hearing people say that Croc uses the Rancor's arms. Um, no, he doesn't. He has regular bigfig arms. He only uses the Rancor's hands.

These look pretty cool, and I love those mini-drill pieces. those are new right? I don't recall ever seeing them. But I'm mostly interested in the Battle Suits, which look superb. It's going to be fun making some of my own mechs. I already have some ideas for a big astronaut space suit coming from Lance's battle suit.

Flip Flappers may just be my AotS. It's just such a fun show.

Contest results have been delayed again, apparently. Strange, since it said it was closed this morning as it was supposed to. However, I couldn't get to the results page open on either my work computer or my phone. EDIT: It's also worth pointing out, in case you missed it, that the prizes have been updated. there are now six Tier 1 winners (art book and complete collection) and 5 bonus winners (art book). Well, at least it looks like no matter what, the winners will receive art books. I always found that to be the most desirable, so that's good. EDIT 2: Well, I don't know what's going on with the Rebrick page, but the winners were announced on the Rebrick Facebook page. I sadly didn't win, but congrats to those who did!

Y'know, sometimes I like seeing these more simple MoCs. Like, you didn't go all out and make some crazy design or intense greebling. You simply made something cool with the existing frame, and I love it. I really like his design (glowing armor is always cool). And I especially love the shoulder pads on the breakout version. Very nice!

So I decided to break tradition and instead of getting three Mixels at a time, I got the remaining six that I was missing in one go. Partly because this is the last wave, partly because I don't know when I'll be shopping again, and partly because I found a lot of other stuff I was looking for, so I figured I'd throw them on the pile as well. But I digress. It's kinda nice to have a complete collection on the shelf. Though right now, all my figures are in Max forms of my design just to save on some shelf space. I'll need to remember to show them all off sometime. Later I'll disassemble all of them and return them to their individual figures. I really want to see a shot of them all together.

Found the pics. Or some of them... Don't know how many there were... Anywho... I'm not really impressed. Luckily these are prelims, meaning they could drastically improve. I remember the leaks for the first wave of NK, and those looked super bad while the final sets looked much better. So there's still hope. But, yeah. None of them really stand out to me. Jestro's vehicle thing catches my eye, but that may be due to its absolutely terrifying face. Also, it comes with a storm cloud. That's cute. The thing I'm most interested in, however, are the Action sets. I don't think they look particularly good, but I imagine they'll be super fun to customize. I'm mostly looking forward to using the torso bit to make my own mechs.

I really like that Santa. Haven't really paid much attention to these seasonal sets this year, but Mr. Claus caught my eye. May just have to get him if I have the chance.

Gotta say, I was a little skeptical at first when I heard that another PotC film was coming. I enjoyed the first trilogy, but wasn't too thrilled with the fourth film, which just felt like a "hey, let's make another movie" cash-grab. It still remains to be seen how much I'll enjoy this installment, but I got to say, I quite like what I'm seeing. I really like what they did with the ghosts; how everything is all floaty like they're moving through water. That's very neat. It's off to a good start, but I really hope they decide to make this film a jumping off point into something bigger. I really don't want PotC to end up being a series of stand-alone films that get released every few years. I'd like to see some overarching plot.

To whom it may concern, it's K-2SO, not K-250. Sorry, that's been bugging me... Anywho, it's a shame it appears they made no improvement on Skull Basher's gimmick. It's a neat idea, but it's still flawed with its looseness. I'll probably still get him. Haven't decided.

Series 9 is out in the wild! Got Myke, Gobbol, and Mysto at TRU. And let me just say, Mysto is the bomb. Like, he's probably my favorite Mixel ever. He looks great, poses well, and best of all he has a hat! And it works wonders for giving him expressions since it's eyebrow-level. Seriously, if you're going to get a Mixel, get Mysto. Get him. *sigh* It's kinda bittersweet now that I have them. On one hand, it's going to feel good completing the collection. On the other... This is the end, folks.

Count me in for that. I value articulation above all else. I mean, functions are neat, but if it limits a figure's articulation or anything else, I'd consider it a problem. Bionicle did a good job of finding the right balance. Hopefully they've improved upon Skull Basher's function for K-2SO, otherwise I'll definitely be locking the arms.

Just wrapped up Playdead's Inside. So disturbing. Limbo was creepy, this was just... Disturbing. Not entirely sure what just happened, but it was entertaining. Now I'm going back to playing Furi. A fantastic bullet-hell beat-em-up comprised entirely of bosses. Already beat it, but I'm going to attempt it on the hardest difficulty. Yeesh.

The Action/Battle sets sound incredible and pretty much what I wanted to see in a Constraction theme: Figures that pilot exo-armor (I also like that the minifig head is the battle suit's head!). I can see a lot of potential with the new torso piece for custom mech designs. I'll probably end up building my own little Minifig Mechs!

I'll take that. I really haven't collected Nexo Knights sets, but I may end up getting those if it turns out true.

Finally got around to watching the live action Jungle book. I liked it. Probably one of the best (if not the best) of Disney's live action remakes. CGI was amazing and the casting decisions were spot-on. Also really happy that they kept some of the songs from the original! I'd recommend.

I'd love to see something modular like that. Mix 'n match combining robots would be sweet. Honestly, I just want something fun. I want to see a line that makes me want to spend my money. It's boring if I'm just getting sets to "complete the collection," which is what I felt was happening with Bionicle G2 for me. I want something new and exciting.

Well, hopefully they've improved on the function's design. It was neat, but the execution left floppy arms on Skull Basher.

Don't get my hopes up like that... But yeah. That would be fantastic.
