K-2SO is my favorite droids since the Release of Rogue one in 2016, and I tried to make a good action figure of it since the release of 75120 in 2016.
I like that KX-enforcer design continue its way across Star Wars universe and appeared in Andor, Visions, the Book of Boba Fett & Jedi Survivor. Also, it appeared in Mandalorian, as redesigned N5 sentry droid
In total, design took a few months and a lot of iterations.
References for the model were Hot Toys K-2SO and Hot Toys KX Enforcer droid + multiple pictures and 3D models across the internet.
My goals was to reach the correct size & proportions for the head, articulation and stability.
The model includes two weapons made in correct scale:
se-14r blaster pistol, which K-2SO used in Rogue One
e-22 blaster rifle, which KX Enforcer droids used during the purge of Mandalore in the Book of Boba Fett s1 ep5
Stand shows green glass which appears after bombing of planet surface and ruins of buildings. Leg on the Mandalorian helmet is reference to entrance scene from Terminator 2, where terminators crushed sculls with their legs.
Also, stand has place in front to put the sticker (like Helmets collection has) or the K-2SO minifig.
