[MOC] Hanging Temple of the Big Foot Buddha
BrickGirl replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wow, that is astonishing! I love the detail on the temple and the colours you've used. It's beautiful. -
That sounds awesome! I'm not sure my bulk will stretch to building it, but will be a good excuse for a bricklink order!

My first LEGO set was Forbidden Island. I love the old Pirates theme! I had the Big Red Bucket of Bricks for free building/MOCs but actual set-wise, this was probably my first: NAMEο»Ώ: 6270 Forbidden Island YEAR: 1989 RATING: πππππout ofπππππ (5/5) It's still my favourite set. I spent many happy hours playing Pirate baddies!

[OFFICIAL] LEGO House Set Exclusive: 40504 A Minifigure Tribute
BrickGirl replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
I want this so badly! I might need to get hold of the instructions and try to build it myself, or as close to as possible. -
This is fantastic, thank you! It's fascinating to see your process of building and I've picked up some great tips, thanks!

Eurobricks' Licensed Cozy Corners Contest - Entry Topic
BrickGirl replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Find a job that you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life. Comic Book Guy's favourite place is his shop. It's his happy place where he goes to relax and recharge, surrounded by his beloved collectables and memorabilia. "Comic Book Guy is the owner of The Android's Dungeon and Baseball Card Shop, a local comic book store... His store is his sanctuary, where he holds some level of self-esteem, imperiously lording over pre-teen kids, like Bart Simpson and Milhouse Van Houten." - https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Comic_Book_Guy Thank you for hosting this fun contest! Hopefully this is not the "Worst. Simpson's MOC. Ever!" -
Thank you everyone for the warm welcome!

Hello, and thank you for having me! I joined after I learnt about the many MOC competitions and activities that come from this group. I'm Laura and I've been a LEGO fan since the late 80s. I would describe myself as a MOC builder and set collector. I have only recently started creating MOCs, in the last year or so, but I am hooked! I love seeing other people's builds, learning and finding inspiration. I'm trying to be more active in the AFOL community, LEGO has pretty much taken over my life! Thanks again, I look forward to getting involved!
