It’s looks like Joey Tribianni’s face from F.R.I.E.N.D.S. to me. Not sure why they’re not using the new Keaton face for any of these sets.

LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

It doesn’t look like a new Han hair piece to me, but definitely a new torso. It’s nice to get the buttoned-up collared shirt that’s specific for this scene when they could have thrown in the regular Han. Speaking of regular Han, technically I think he’s actually ROTJ, since Han in ANH has a V-neck. Also, it looks like Han might have a new face print. His smile is closed-mouth, so it’s either a new print or the one from Solo. Getting Luke with the accurate dark tan hair color is nice, too. EDIT: @web_wex on Instagram (hopefully I’m allowed to say that) has clearer images up of the minifigures. It definitely looks to be the Solo face for Han. I wonder if that will be the norm from now on. The medals look really good, though. -

I just tried, and his snout was too long, it wouldn’t allow the helmet to close. Sorry about that. -

Vader does have arm printing. FalconFan has some images with him out of the mech. -

I forgot these were $16. Weren’t the original Marvel mechs only $8? Twice the price, double the, uh, price, I guess. -

The mechs themselves are LEGO’s mechs. If you like them, you’ll like these. If not, these probably won’t be appealing. It’s good to be able to get (relatively) cheap options for these minifigures, though. I’m still not 100% sure about the new Stormtrooper, but Boba looks great. I’ll be intrigued to see how this minifigure affects the insane prices of the other OT Bobas with arm printing. -
On set’s page on LEGO.com, the video at the end of all the pictures makes the set better. The functions look cool, especially the guns popping out of the Batmobile. However, $400 is still too much for the Batwall.

Apparently it’s going to be a special employee gift for those at Lucasfilm. -
*Sigh* You got me. Hopefully I’m not being too optimistic, but I’m sure it’ll look better than just a box. I think the box is just a way for them to include the bat-symbol-shaped window.

Well shoot. Given that the set was originally going to come out last year before the movie was delayed, and that we got a leak of the torso in October, this set was far into production being cancelled. I don’t mean to put words in his mouth, but at the beginning of the month, Ashnflash seemed to think that the set would be releasing sometime this summer, so this must have been a more recent decision. I wonder why they chose now. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do now but be puzzled and hope on the minuscule chance that the set will see a later release.

My bad, thanks for letting me know. I had thought the mold included the mini doll head. 👍 -

I think Triton’s hair and beard are new. It looks like they’re one piece together, but hopefully they’re separate from the head, unlike the mini doll. -

Bricky.dee.williams on Instagram posted a story saying that even though there has been a lot of new Indiana Jones merch, it doesn’t seem like anyone is allowed to make the Thuggees. This would definitely explain the Temple of Doom’s cancellation. -

I hope so. The Mandalorian didn’t get Gideon until the summer wave after season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett didn’t really get Cad Bane or the Pikes, but Kenobi and arguably Andor had the main villains in their sets, so hopefully LEGO is getting better at including them. Given the popularity of Thrawn and the fact that he will seemingly be a more prominent villain, especially as time goes by, I’m sure he’ll come eventually. I just hope they don’t pull a Rex. -
I would be very surprised if he did. The Batmobile is very likely Keaton’s, in which case he would be the main Batman in the set. Supergirl and Younger Barry are probably the next most likely, aside from villains. However, I have noticed that the past three most recent Batmobile sets (the Tumbler, Classic ‘66, and The Batman) have all only come with two minifigures. Hopefully since this set is based on The Flash and not a Batman movie, it will break that trend.

Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Not sure if everyone’s seen them, but based on FluffySky6’s leaks on Reddit, FalconFan has posted new information: 43222: Disney Castle will have 4837 pieces and comes with a variety of princess and prince couples. There will be a set that comes with Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinkerbell, and is similar in size/piece count to the Up house. There will also be buildable characters of Lumiére and Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, and potentially others. Overall, they sound exciting. The castle will be a good way to fill in that princess gap that we have, and it will be cool to see more buildable characters. Hopefully they’ll be the same quality as the leaked Simba. -

Great lineup! Werewolf by Night, the X-Men, and Kang are pleasant surprises. I’m excited to see how they look! Hopefully this means Ms. Marvel will be in the set for The Marvels. -
This head also has a sort of frown/determined expression, while the JL Flash had smiles on both sides. I’m super excited to be getting more leaks, hopefully we’re not far away from seeing the whole set.

The set is about what I was expecting given the piece count and previous 4+ sets. I like the (hopefully printed) temple wall pieces and the training droid. The minifigures are mostly great, too. Lys is perfect, Kai’s hair seems a little off, but otherwise he’s good, as well. Yoda is interesting. I’m glad to be getting white High Republic robes, and I’m eager to compare this Yoda head with the current movie one and the Clone Wars one. Not counting the original, we now have three Yoda heads with similar details but differing styles and colors. I am, however, baffled by the absence of Nubs. From the limited amount of comments I’ve seen, he seems to be popular, and the main trio of the show are Kai, Lys, and Nubs. He would have only required a new mold and torso, which is the same that Yoda got, and Yoda did not really need them, nor is he a main character. I’m not sure what they were thinking there, especially since it seems we are likely getting another set with Yoda, so he would be available at the same time. This is pure speculation based on my own wants, but I’m hoping that they’re justifying making a new mold for Yoda by including it in both this set and the starfighter. The starfighter then could be based on Young Jedi Adventures and include Nubs. This is probably unlikely, but then I’m confused as to why they’d make two Yoda’s and zero Nubs. At the end of the day, though, I’m glad to be getting our first High republic set, new characters, and new molds. -

“That business on Cato Neimoidia doesn’t… doesn’t count.” Even though it’s not the most exciting set for those who already own previous versions, the throne room looks beautiful. I like the overall smoothness, as well as the shaping and part usage of the window. It’ll be cool to see better pictures of Luke’s new hair and Palpatine’s new face. The Endor chase looks good for what it is. The final result is a lot more dynamic than I initially expected, and it seems the forest floor is pretty well populated. Also, a new Endor Luke is very welcome, as is Leia. Seeing how good these look, though, make me sad about Jabba’s Palace. Fingers crossed for next year. -

Didn’t the showrunner of Willow say that it wasn’t cancelled, they just released the actor’s contracts since they wouldn’t be filming it for while? Maybe there’s still hope. -
Technically, aren’t the Schumacher films supposed to be sequels to the Burton ones? If LEGO considers them so, then they could potentially include Two-Face, Riddler, Robin, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Mr. Freeze. Plus the Bat-nipple suit and the Bat-credit card. Honestly, there’s probably an extremely low chance for that to happen. However, I would love a Schwarzenegger Mr. Freeze.
