    Disney Properties 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Genuinely don't know why the mods (allegedly) allowed this to happen. These rumours have been up for 10 hours now as well, so it's clear they're not going down any time soon. Nobody else has confirmed, denied or even acknowledged this, so we are pretty much in limbo unless someone reputable speaks up.

    Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

More like Late April/Early May. while in 2019 they were revealed in February, that was only because of a Toy Fair, so unless Toy Fairs become a big thing again, it is unlikely we will see them that early.

    Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

All we know is that they are coming out in summer, but we can speculate that since this year there is no Jurassic content, like in 2019 and 2020, they will probably release in June or July, but JW has always been inconsistent with their releases. EDIT: JJP confirmed the new wave is releasing in June.

    LEGO Creator 2023

I found this on Myer's website. I assume it's an early version of 31133: White Rabbit's box.

    10302 Optimus Prime Rumors

We still have more than a month until Prime was leaked last year, and we still know nothing about sets 10318 to 10323, so that's 6 sets that it could be. I would say we should wait until March to worry about no new Lego Transformers this year.

Lego City 2023 Leaks, Rumours, Speculation And Discussion

If the majority of that piece count goes to the sub, wouldn't that make it the largest City submarine of all time?
  7. What about Skeleton Crew is even remotely related to nostalgia or the Clone Wars show?

    Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

What's also weird about the low piece count of the visitors centre is the 12+ rating with such a low piece count. Usually they reserve that for sets with mostly small pieces, like the new Christmas Tree. The fact they are doing it for a set with such a low piece count that simultaneously has to cover so much ground is perplexing to me.

    Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I think everyone would prefer it that way, if only for the sake of consistency with the rest of the theme, but that uncharacteristically good Price to Part Ratio seems to seal the deal on that front. I think that we can expect the same for the inevitable Mosasaurus, but at least there happening, which was in severe doubt beforehand.

    Jurassic Park/World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

What's interesting to me is the relatively high piece counts of 76959, which seems to pretty much confirm that the brachiosaurus is at least partially brickbuild. The dilophosaurus ambush seems to present amazing value for something containing a relatively large animal, and the search for the Triceratops is about what is to be expected for a trike set. The piece count on the visitor's centre is extremely disappointing though, I would have liked for it to have had at least 200 pieces more, so we could have a decent interior.
  11. Don't know if this has been reported yet but according the someone who got the Bomber early on MandR's latest video showed that Vader does in fact have arm printing. the promotional images are apparently just incorrect, so that's good.

There's a new one, it's on the last page of the Licenced Ideas thread.

    Disney Properties 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

Lego is very much focused on the 'Princess' aspect of Disney, and not much else. The only reason I thing we got set associated with the Tangled tv show is because it already had that connection to a princess, and even then they weren't so much tangled tv show sets as much as they were tangled sets with tv show characters, much like the JW Camp Cretaceous wave. Amphibia will likely never get sets (Although I would kill for a brick-built Andrias, and honestly this is the one time I think I would prefer minidolls over figs, because of the art style), and The Owl House is in only a barely better position, considering that it only has 2 more specials to air. Even this year, with Disney branching out into more of their classic (Princess-less) franchises, I doubt that any modern shows would make it.
  14. Well, the Slave 1 has flick fire missiles, so that's a thing. The 501st battle pack looks good though, although it is a bit of a hard pill to swallow considering that the exact same cannon with only 20 less pieces and the same number of minifigs retailed for $13 back in 2012 (9488), but I guess that's what a decades worth of inflation will get you. I'm also glad to see the normalisation of the new Phase II helmets. The Tie bomber looks phenomenal as well, but also appears to be using flick fire missiles, and seems to be in an even smaller scale Than the 2021 Tie Fighter. Can't tell if that Vader has arm printing or not.

Is there even the slightest chance to getting a Lion King set? Any at all? The've got most of the molds they would need by now.
