North Lego Star

I really thought we would get a Wookiee Catamaran instead of an AT-PT Walker, but I guess not. That still doesn't mean we won't get a Wookiee Ornithopter as a small set to battle with the AT-PT Walker.

I think lego was just trying to get a new Bat symbol on a minifig to be honest. This the same thing that happened with the Dark Knight Batman porbaly due to the fact that it would just be to much Black and not look right. I'm actually a fan of the new Batman since it's a new design and not just another Comic Book design based minifig. By the way, I think we can expect to see a new Robin and Joker based off the fact that the Large Lego Model of Batman is exactly the same design as the actual minifig so I wonder what sets we'll see them in.

There's money stored in back of the Riddler's Car, but that's all I can make out. This is a nice set, but I think could have been better. The Riddler has been done before and to be honest I don't like his new design very much. I would have perfered getting a new villain such as Black Mask, Mad Hatter, Hush and so on. As for Batman and the Flash, there nice and something new, but the vehicals in the set are anything special. I don't think I'll be picking this set up whne it comes out, I'm still hopefully though that we got some more TDKR sets. EDIT: Oh, I didn't notice that golden curve before. I think it's probaly the Riddler's Question mark cane, which is a cool addition to this set.

Thanks CMS4 for the Picture! Well, the set looks alright, not a bad design at all, but although I love that Wookie Warrior, I think lego should have a Clone Trooper instead in that set. I think that's the problem lego's having recently, lacking Clone Troopers in Republic Vehical sets. I personally like having someone to pilot the vehical and someone to be a gunner as well. It's still a nice set, but I hope we see some more clone troopers at least in other sets.

Interesting set. I thought it was fake at first simply because it does look fake, but I guess it's real. Not a huge fan of the Vehicals especially for 30$, but the Riddler has new printing and all I can really say about this set is THE FLASH!!!! Hope to see more pictures very soon!

Damn, 30 minutes after I post my predictions, the first picture of a 2014 set get released proving me wrong already! I guess I'll just have to see about my other predictions.

Well, we still have one more Marvel set for 2013, that I have no doubt will be revealed at Comic Con(Really do think that one last set will be a 30$ Thor: The Dark World set.) As for next years line up for Marvel here's what I think we'll be getting... -1 Large Lego Exclusive X-Men Set -2 Amazing Spider Man 2 Sets -3 Captain America: The Winter Soidler Sets That leaves out any Guardians of the Galaxy sets, but to be honest I don't know if lego would have actually done those sets any way since the would have to be pretty big sets and I don't know if kids will actually be interested in the movie. As for DC, I'm pretty sure we'll get some new Batman sets(really hope we get some more TDKR sets,) but I'm also hopeful that we'll see one Flash and Green Lantern set. I guess we'll just have to wait until Thursday to find out though.

Nice MOC! I hope you could someday do more charcters like Green Arrow, Marshine Manhunter, Cyborg, Hawkman and Hawkwoman as well as the jest of them, but great job on the 6 you got now!

I would assume Toys R Us will release them early like they ussually do within the next 2 weeks. It's just the crappy mark-up on their prices that stops me from getting them early, but if your willing to spend some extra money, you'll have the new sets soon enough!

Well said legofreak86! I'm hopeful that Disney is able to work with the FU story, but I'm pretty sure at this point Star Wars Rebels will no be something most star wars fans will like at all. Times are changing and with Disney that ussually results in moving towards completly new concepts and leaving the old in the past to be forgotten. I also would like to see these sets. Although we'll mostly likely not get a S-PHAT next year, I think we have a really good chance of seeing a UT-AT set next year as I mentioned in my 2014 set predictions on the previous page. I disagree just due to the fact that there is still a lot of material to cover from the CW. I believe 2014 will be the last year that we get more than 1 or 2 CW sets as I've expressed through my predictions of sets on the previous page. As for the Yoda Chronicles, it's not even an actual show rather than a 3 part speacial so I wouldn't expect much material from that. Concerning Star Wars Rebels, the show won't begin until the fall of 2014 so I wouldn't expect lego to release more than one set related to a show that's not even out yet. No one knows though, all we know is that lego plans all of their sets 2 years in advance so we'll mostly likely be getting EP3 sets for sure, but the rest is just something we'll have to wait for.

For the past two years now, one of the largest sets of the winter wave has been revealed at Comic Con, so I believe we'll mostly likely see the same thing again this year. I do believe we also got a list of the sets a short time after Comic Con and pictures by November. Only time will tell, but I would say expect something at Comic Con this year and the 2014 pictures and rumors to be started soon.

That's pretty interesting news. However I don't believe we'll be getting any pre avengers sets soon because Marvel has new material for lego to make sets based off every year. Despite this, I think we have a good chance of seeing the characters from these movies being made as exclusive minifigs for your Comic Cons, Lego Promotions, Toy Fairs and so on.

Agreed, hopefully we'll see some EP3 sets next year that throw some of those jedi at us. I'm also hopeful though that we get a lot of EP3 Phase II Clone Troopers next year since lego finally has a decent Phase II Clone Helmet

I think most of the sets are good, but your right that lego just did the random minifig placement again. I would have liked if the sets turned out more like this... -Tank Droid: Was actually a Hailfire Droid and that set included Geonosian Battle Droid, Clone Trooper and Aayla Secura for 24.99$ -Homing Spider Droid: Stass Allie is great, but I think the Clone should be a Clone Captain so you could get some more new minifigs in that set. -Republic Gunship: I would have put a regular Clone Trooper since you get the Clone Captain in the Spider Droid and repalce one of the Super Battle Droids with Jango since it would have beed based off the Arena scene more putting Jango in the right situation. The other sets I think are fine, but I think lego really needs to plan minifig placement better next year.

Again, I believe we'll be getting some movie based minifigs as CC exclusives this year since it's something unique that would never come in a set. Here are a couple ideas... I saw Man of Steel the first day it came out, but I had a hard time coming up with set ideas. I have some thought of one possible idea though, so her it is... -Man of Steel: Escape from Krypton: Jor El(Armor), General Zod(Scared Face), Kal El(Baby), Lara, Kryptoian Escape Pod, Zod's Gunship-34.99$ The Man of Steel Offical Sets are very accurate to the movie by the way, probaly the reason for the lack of being able to come up with more set ideas. Thanks For the Great Review Cerebros! Well, The only tthing that makes this set good is really Jango. I personally think the 2009 Tank Droid had a much better design, offered some more playability and was more of an Army Builder Set. The Jango is great though and if lego didn't release him in the Advent Calander, I would had to pick him up. The Clone just there and the Geonosian Battle Droid is cool, but the color isn't right for it. Not a great set, but if you didn't have the 2009 Tank droid and wanted a Jango, it's probaly a must buy.

I think we'll see a Deathstroke minifig and a Green Arrow minifig next year, but not based off their look in Arkham Origins or The Arrow Show. Lego doesn't seem to do stuff based off of video games or Live Action TV shows, but that doesn't stop them from making a minifig of them so people at least have them. All I'm really hopeing for at this point is for next years DC line up to look like this... -3 Comic Book Style Batman Sets -1 The DarK Knight Rises Set -1 Green Lantern and Other Hero set -1 The Flash and other Hero set By the way, when do we usually find out information about the Comic Con Exclusive minifigs?
