North Lego Star

Thanks for the pictures SlimShady! The Penguin Face Off set looks really good, nice new Batman and Penguin as well as vehicles, but I'll probably pass on it. The Man Bat Attack Set looks alright, Batman's helicopter is pretty good, little blocky but, it's okay. I feel like they should have just given Nightwing a motorcycle instead of the jumbo jet pack and his electric staffs, I also don't like how they just used the Batman Movie Batman in this set, I would have rather gotten the BTB Batman or completely new one, but I guess it doesn't matter since I'm not buying it anyway. Anyone else notice though, how the sets name's start off with Batman:, I hope this means that there'll be some other superhero sets this year.

I don't think lego would want to upset either DC or Marvel by having a certain theme come out with more sets than the other theme, so I'm pretty if lego is going to make more sets for Marvel, they'll makle some more sets for DC too. Hopefully some sets like these... Batman-Showdown at Gotham Harbor: Batman, Deathstroke, Black Mask, Deadshot, Black Mask Henchmen, Warehouse, Crane, Cargo Container-49.99$ Batman-Gothma Police Station-Batman, Commisinner Gordon, Gotham Police Officer, Black Mask, Hush-49.99$ Batman-Bat-Boat: Batman, Robin, Killer Croc, Soloman Grundy, Sewer Lair-49.99$ Justice League-Hall of Jutice: Superman, Martine Manhunter, Green Lantern, Sinestro, Brainiac-49.99$ Any of those sets I think are possible since lego Marvel seems to be expanding it's terriorty in terms of characters.

That Cannon looks like something an 8 year-old would build, I guess that's what lego's sets are leaning towards this yeaer though. I'm looking foward to the Utapau Battle Pack though, great to see some Air Borne Troopers and Regular 212th Troopers and I don't think the Octo Drojd will look to bad although being under-scale. Still pretty upset that buying all 3 battle packs will cost me over 50$ dollars though

Really dissapointing year for Superheros to say the least. The Junior sets are really useless and just a waste of sets. Concering The DC sets, I think there all alright, but don't have any wow factor to them, I'm also really upset Lego just gave us another Robin instea of a new or updated villain to fight along with the Joker. As for the Marvel sets, there certainly not anything new or exciting, Same old Tri Cycle, Bank Robber and stupid Vehicle lego gives us. I also hate that there's a lcak of villains in these sets, like the Spider Helicopter, I want someone to fight along side Green Goblin, a Vulture or even puting Electro in that sets and putting Sand Man would have been a much better choice by lego. I'll probably end of picking up the small spider man set this year, but unless we got something worth wild that's it for me.

I would say Tarful is probably one of the best minifigs of all time! Sadly though, I don't want to have to buy a 70$ AT-AP Walker just to get him so it looks like I'll have to pass on him. So at this point is it possible that we'll recieve 7 marvel sets next year, due to the fact that we only got 5 sets this year perhaps as a result of Marvel(Disney) wanting them to release a larger number of sets in 2014.

The Kashyyyk Trooper's alright, the torso and leg printing are great, but the helmet just not right, It look more like a box, not a good rounded shape. It also doesn't capture the actual Kashyyyk very well at all, but I guess it'll have to do.

Again Thanks Sir von Lego! I hope lego puts Nightwing in the Man Bat Set and have a new villain in the Steamroller instead. The Spider Man sets sound interesting, I'm hopeful that the driver of the car in the Doc Ock Attack set is Agent Coulson or another hero. I also hope that the Spider Helicopter will include at least two more minifigs(fingers crossed for White Tiger and Sandman or the Lizard,) but it's interesting were getting either Mary Jane or Gwen in this set along with the Green Goblin.

The Republic AV-7 Anti-Vehicle Cannon sounds alright good to see the Wolf Pack back in action, but I'm really sick of lego with the inclusion of senseless droids, I mean we could have gotten another Wolf Pack Clone Trooper or something like that rather than another damn Droideka. The Utapau battle pack sounds amazing though like the Kashyyyk battle pack so thats good news. It's too bad that sets 75038-41 are all 30$ way over priced for what there giving us, but I guess that's the direction lego's heading in. By the way Sir von Lego, did you see the premilary images or offical images?

That's a frigate not a captial ship such as the Ventor or ISD.

No your right there hasn't been a ISD since 2006, but I'm talking about the three year rule lego seems to have about releasing capital star crusier that has gone like this... 2006=Imperial Star Destroyer 2009=Republic Ventor Class Star Ship 2012=The Malevolence So 2015 would be the next time lego releases a capital star cruiser, just in time for Episode 7. Again though, with all the changes lego has brought within the upcoming winter wave, No one can really predict what the summer wave will look like, therefore it's possible we'll see a ISD if lego abandons their 3 three year rule.

Lego has the three year rule for releasing star cruisers, so I doubt we'll get a ISD next year, but then again with the crazy changes in the winter wave, who knows what the summer wave will look like.

Is 76017 Avengers Set 1 actually the CA: WS set? By the way, the one 50$ set for marvel probably means we'll get a 50$ set for DC at some point next year!

Both The Flash and Nightwing look really good, I believe this is a good sign that lego's putting more effort into the Superhero Theme.

Thanks for the infornation! The Marvel Wave sounds actually pretty interesting to me, although I won't buy anything, It still sounds like a lot of new minifigs from the MCU, USM and AA so some diverstiy. I'm also interested by the fact that there are only 5 sets listed for Marvel so I predicted we'll be getting a large Marvel Exclsuive next year, mosty likely the X-Mansion for all the X-Men fans out there. Still, we could be getting the X-Mansion as apart of the 2013 line up and a possible GOTG set next year or another CA: WS set, who knows!

Thanks for the information! The prices are pretty extreme if you ask me, I mean Battle Packs are now 17$ so if you're going to buy all 3 of them like me, you'll have to spend +50$! Not to mention the cost of the V-wing and Interceptor at 30$, 2 years ago could you buy the Imperial V-Wing for 20$. By the way, I believe the the Wheel Bike and Vulture Droid will be priced at 24.99$, the Tri-Fighter will be 29.99$ and the Police Gunship will be 49.99$. An expensive year to be a LSW collector!

A week or so ago, I finally picked up the Z-95 Headhunter. I wasn't expecting much, but it's great. Good Minifigs, Accurate Porportion, Good play features, this set has the whole deal!

I'm talking about 2014. @TheStratiegist-Yes, I'm talking about the 2014 DC January Wave and how there are only the four sets, but you are correct about the Junior set so in that case, there's only room for one more DC set. If the Junior set also counts for Marvel though, Marvel will have a lot more sets than DC for sure, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
