Well if the recent rumors are true, a spin-off movie about Boba Fett will be made and released inbetween Episodes 7 and 8. So at this point I think lego would probably release one when the movie comes out.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'm starting to wonder what the new Stormtroopers in the Imperial Star Destroyer are going to look like, I don't know really what they add to make them look any better, if anything I wouldn't be suprised if Lego turned that set into a Rebels Based set and put the new Rebels versions of the Stormtroopers and Vader in the set, I don't know though. -
I'll actually be able to pick up Martian Manhunter as I plan on buying the Ewok Village in March! I'm pretty excited to see him as a minifigure, but I'll admite it's disappointing how lego won't put him in an actual set. Hopefully he'll appear in a Justice League Movie at some point so they have to put him in an set!

I think we heard about the X-Wing around actually sometime in 2012, but didn't get pics until March. The Sandcrawler seems to have be confirmed, and will probabaly have a May release to line up right with May the Fourth Be With You. Concering the other exclsuive, it's been rumored that a UCS Slave 1 would be coming out this year too, but I hope lego actually releases something else, possibly a larger CW set similar to the kind of set the Tantive IV was. -

Although I was wasn't expecting much, the Star Wars Rebels sets look really good! The Phantom is actually a nice little set that looks farily decent, but the Ghost is probably one of the better sets I've seen in awhile. It's a pretty large set that seems to be very well built and comes with some nice new minifigs that don't have the CW faces, all for the farily cheap price of 90$. Concerning the possiblity of getting Galactic Marines since the Snowtrooper Armor is being updated, I would say is very likely. I would even say it's possible we'll see a set like this for the large 2014 Summer Exclsuive... -Republic UT-AT Walker: Ki-Adi Mundi, Commander Bacara, Galatic Marine(x2), Heavy Super Battle Droid(x2), Crab Droid-89.99$ Can't wait to see pictures at the New York Toy Fair on Febuary 16th! -
Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
North Lego Star replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've been considering buying a Stass Allie minifig off of ebay or bricklink and then purchasing another Clone Trooper vs. Droideka battle pack because I really I'm looking to build my clone army and also want to obtain Stass Allie. However, I also have considered, just buying the Homing Spider Droid set were I do get a clone and Stass Allie, but I already have pleanty of Super Battle Droids and the original Spider Droid set. Buying Stass Allie off of Ebay and the Battle Pack is about the same price as buying the Spider Droid set. So what to you guys think the best decision is in this situation? Thanks for your responses... -

Thanks for the information! I'm pretty disappointed with these sets to be honest, it seems as though lego put more effort into the winter wave and at the last minute through together the summer wave. This is probably due to Star Wars Rebels though, since news of it most likely broke after lego alreaady design this year's winter wave. By the way Pablo94, what woul you say the price points of all the sets are from looking at the pictures? -
I think lego should have really just split the and Sentinel and Blackbird into two different sets, but if Guardians of the Galaxy are going to be that big(which I don't think they will be) then maybe it's an okay decision, hoepfully they'll improve the design of the Sentinel a lot though.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Is it possible the SD is from Star Wars Rebels because all the minifigs listed seem to be new? Also, why is lego wasting set space with another Jek-14 set, that's nearly exactly the same as the last we got him in? I mean honestly we could have gotten a Wookiee Catamaran or something like that instead of this and put the Ithorian in the Cantina set and the RA-7 Droid in the Imperial Star Destroyer and call it an Imperial RA-7 Droid, lego is really starting to piss me off. -

North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the Information menad! Well, here's my view of the sets... 75048 - Phantom: I assume it will be a small Star Wars Rebels set, so I'll probably pass on it, but I'm looking foward to seeing images of it and the minifigs included. 75049 - Snowspeeder: Another Snowspeeder, really? I mean it'll go along nicely with the AT-AT, but lego should really plan out their sets better, since we got one last year. Hell, maybe we'll get Wedge and his gunner out of this one, but lego seems to think the Snowspeeder is like a Jedi Starfighter, no doubt that I'll pass this one up. 75050 - B-wing: Finally, a chance to complete the rebel fleet! I'm looking foward to seeing the minifigs of the set, hopefully we'll end up getting a new Lando, Ten Nunb and Nien Nunb all for around 50$. I think this is the one set I'll buy for sure. 75051 - Jedi Hunter: Another Star Wars Rebels set I'll mostly likely pass on, but I am looking foward to seeing the Inquistor and Probabaly a New Jedi Charcter from the show. 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina: I'm really excited for this set, but I'm also extermly nervous to see how it turns out. Most sets that we've gotten for this price range don't come with more than 5 minifigs, and I don't think that will work out for a Mos Eisley Cantina. On the other hand, Lego may be changing things around this year and we'll see like 7+ minifigs in this set. So I'm going to wait to see images before I decide on buying the set. 75053 - The Ghost: I figured we see this set for sure, again another Star Wars Rebels set that I'll pass on, but I'm looking foward to seeing the final product. 75054 - AT-AT: Well, it sounds like this will be the Biggest and probably most Movie Accutrate AT-AT we'll ever get. Despite this, I'm satisfied with the AT-AT I already have so, I'll pass on it, but I'm looking foward to seeing the improvements lego makes on this one. 75055 - Imperial Star Destroyer: Not expecting this one at all! I think it's great we'll see a new Star Destroyer, it's always an iconic starship that everyone seems to buy. However, I'm pretty sure that Lego is going to base this one after the Star Wars Rebels show, not the OT version, so I'll mostly likely pass on it, but I'm really looking foward to seeing how it turns out! Well, I guess I only have on confirmed purchase for the Summer Wave. We still have the Toys R Us Exclsuive set and Walmart Exclsuive set to be revealed as well as the possiblity of more Microfighters, so I'll have to wait and see the final product of everything before I make my final purchase decisions. -
Ya, I'm not going to pay that much for that. I'll probabaly just wait until the polybags avaliable in the US or just buy a Spider Man off of Ebay or Bricklink.

The only Microfighter I think I would consider gettting would be the Turbo Tank, since I would really like regular Phase II Clone Trooper otherwise, the other Microfighters don't really have any value to me as the minifigs have been avaliable in other sets, hopefully we'll get more unique minifigs in the next wave of Microfighters. -

Can some tell me where I could pick up one of those 2014 Spider Man Polybags? I really don't like any of the sets being released, but I would like to add Spider Man to my Superhero collection.

I wouldn't be suprised if we got a set with Green Lantern, but not a set fully devoted to him. Green Lantern is a cool character, but at this point in time, I think Lego knows he can't stand without the presence of Batman or Superman. So, assuming that we get 4 more Marvel set(2 X-Men and 2 GOTG) I think it's likely we'll get 4 DC sets one featuring Green Lantern fighting along side Batman or Superman and hopefully some more Justice League members as well.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The high price point sets you describe are always apart of the summer wave, not the winter wave. The winter wave's highest priced set is usually around 60-70 dollars at the most. I have personally actually noticed the prices point of sets have gone up. The Battle Packs of 2013, are sold for a very reasonable proce of 12.99$, but the battle packs that or coming out in 2014 are going to be 16.99$, same goes for other sets like the Imperial V-Wing which was sold for 20$ in 2011, but the new one will be sold for 30$. Not only has the price point increased, but the value of sets in my opinion has decreased. Half of the sets this year contain 1 to 2 new minifigs and then the rest of the minifigs are Battle Droids. I get putting 2 Battle Droids in 3 sets at the most, but now the minifigure slots for sets are being filled up by mass of them. My whole point is that lego is trying to apply more to kids at this point and the brand itself is changing in to something, I'm not personally I fan of. This change is evidents by such things like the new spring loaded missles, the new shooting guns and the microsets, which have no really value other than something cheap to buy that's easy to build. Again, I personally believe Lego making the star wars brand a lot more kid friendly with simpler builds and more action features leading to a price increase for some reason. I too am, very pleased, by the police gunship's design, but I dislike the fact that we really get only two new minifigs, and there is an absence of Commander Fox. This is the same feeling I have about the Rrepublic Cannon, really only 2 new minifigs and a lack of Commander Woffle. -
The Joker's Steamroller Set really turned out like crap if you ask me. The new Robin is really just lazy looking if you ask me, I mean it would have been ten times better if we got a Red Robin Minifig since it's a new design. We also should have gotten a new villain with this set, I think a Mad Hatter or Killer Moth would have worked well with the new Joker. Oh well I guess, the only Batman set I plan to buy is the Man Bat one since, I really like the new Nightwing and Man Bat all for only 20 dollars.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well, the police gunship is an excellent set, I would even go as far to say, it's the best set of the wave, but the only thing is that we don't get a commander woffle in any of the sets so that's really bad on lego's part, but if anything he should have been included in the Republic Cannon. The Droid Tri Fighter is also a really good set, palpatine is nice and the design of the fighter is greatly improved if you ask me. Concering the Micro sets, there all really crappy to me, their designs are really bad and the minifigs aren't enough to support the whole set. When can we expect some rumors of the summer wave to appear? -
I hope this means 8 sets for DC as well, but how likely is that with the limited material being released?

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
North Lego Star replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
So, am I the only one who really is dissapointed by most of this wave? Okay, I like the battle bakes of this wave for sure, especially the Utapau Battle Pack and I'll pick all those up, but the other sets just don't have the same feeling they have had in the past, the feeling of a good designed vehicle with minifigs that came from the scene that set was supposed to be based on and all this for a reasonable price. Now it seems like were getting the sets with little next to no improvements along with minifigs that are just placed in there to call the set new for a an extermly high price. I don't know, I personally hope the summer wave is a lot better. -
Been thinking about it some more recently and here are my new predictions for the summer wave sets...
