  1. Dear LEGO® train fans, dear BSBT fan community, we are happy to invite you to the BSBT again: For the 6th time, LEGO railway fans from Europe and other countries will meet to create a large community layout together. In addition, we also want to give individual systems or models their place. As in previous years, we have the "Old Tram Depot Schkeuditz" (Rathausplatz 5, 04435 Schkeuditz) with a total area of around 700 square meters at our disposal. We, the Leipzig LBRICK railway fans, will work out a track plan that is as varied as possible in advance and provide the basic construction for you. A look at the layout of BSBT23 last year: We are therefore looking for LEGO – Railway fans... ... who are interested in networking and are looking forward to a lively exchange with each other. ... that contribute a landscape to the community area. This can be a railway station, a piece of open track (rail through landscape), a factory, a bridge or tunnel, etc. It is important that it is built in such a way that other participant landscapes or free tracks can be connected to it. ... who want to let their locomotives run free. ... who have built beautiful, realistic vehicles and would like to exhibit them or have them driven. ... who can bring buildings, accessories or suitable urban self-constructions. ... with functional models or exhibits with lights, motors, etc. Interesting individual layouts are also welcome. Locomotive shed on the rotary launch platform We look forward to receiving your application at The following points are required for your application: - Your models are made of LEGO bricks (We are a RLUG, so only LEGO bricks are allowed. We ask you to refrain from registering modules with terminal blocks from third-party manufacturers.) - For track material, motors, lights and other drive concepts, we are open to products from accessory manufacturers (trixbrix, fx tracks, sBrick, buwizz, etc.) - 3D printing is possible, as long as it serves a niche. (rail pieces, connecting rods, wheels, ...)- In order to represent a wide range of building possibilities with LEGO, we ask you not to register any modules or rolling stock from purchased sets, but only self-builds! - A good community layout needs stations, industrial facilities and open tracks. You can never have enough of the latter. - MOCs without tracks, urban development and infrastructure enliven the layout. - Application with detailed description, meaningful photos and, if applicable, BBM file (Bluebrick – Planning Program: https://bluebrick.lswproject.com ) - The participation fee is 30 euros. - The minimum age for participants is 14 years. Go on a skiing holiday with modern vehicles – in the middle of August. Organizational procedure: This year's application deadline is February 29, 2024 For your application, we need a completed planning form. You can download it HERE. (We recommend that you edit the planning sheet directly in Acrobat Reader and not in the browser!) https://nx27031.your-storageshare.de/s/NNZjZgoaiKqj8XK We need a BBM file of your or one or more meaningful photos showing how your module or model is structured. Send us both to: BBM Files: (Bluebrick – Planning Program:https://bluebrick.lswproject.com – please build the layout in a layer!) For applications with rolling stock, a few photos are sufficient. After receiving your completed planning forms as an application, we will select the models that are suitable for the community layout this year. We will get back to you by 31.3.2024 to see if we have selected your module for the system. There are some rules for the use of the layout, which all participants must adhere to and which are communicated in advance. Therefore, we cannot organize that guest drivers can drive spontaneously on the layout. (i.e. as visitors who bring their own locomotive and jet over the layout.) Participants who only bring rolling stock, but are there the entire time, are of course welcome. 2. Dear LEGO train fans, In a week, our fourth LEGO train fan meeting "Bauspielbahn-Treffen" will take place in Schkeuditz with the BSBT22. The preparations have been in full progress for a few days. So now it's time to post this year's track plan. (Click on the image to enlarge it). This year you can see many models on the subject of trains. Participants from several European countries and Canada are expected. What can you discover? - double-track line (No. 71 to 72) - double-track 9V line(No. 75 to 73) - long branch line (No. 6 to 42) - four stations with more than 7m length - Loading and unloading stations with TCS* - innovative module with detailed structures - narrow gauge railway and wagon carrier truck / traverse trolleys - three individual layouts, each with a completely different railway size than you normally knows (No. 91, 92, 93) - and much more. In addition to some well-known models from last year, there is a lot that is new and breathtaking to see this year. With 60 participants and over 700m of track on the community layout, the BSBT can consciously describe itself as "Europe's largest LEGO railway meeting". 🔜Bauspielbahn-Treffen 2022 🚂 Europe's largest LEGO® railway exhibition 🗓 August 12-14, 2022 📍 Old tram depot Schkeuditz, Rathausplatz 9 (Google Maps) 🕖 FRI 16 - 18 | SAT 12 - 22 | SUN 10 - 16 Some review videos of the BSBT in the past year can be found at the youtube channels of Grimmona, Mr. Meroh, Annika, and on the Facebook page of the MDR - TV station of Central Germany (sorry, there are all in german language). In english language you can find an artikel about the 2021s BSBT at bricknerd.com We look forward to you. The BSBT team. *The TCS (Train Cargo System) project simulates the loading and unloading of cargo. It was specially programmed for the BSBT and has already been successfully tested in Wörrstadt. A full idea of what that is will follow.
  3. Dear LEGO® train fans, dear BSBT fans, We are pleased to invite you to the 4th Bauspielbahn-Treffen. For the fourth time, LEGO train fans from Germany and other countries will meet to build a large community layout together. We also will give space to individual layouts or models. As in the past years, the "Alte Straßenbahndepot Schkeuditz" (Rathausplatz 9, 04435 Schkeuditz) with a total area of about 700 square metres is at our disposal. We, the Leipzig LEN-Eisenbahner, will work out a varied track plan in advance and provide the basic construction for you. Please note the changes for this year! We would like to establish the BAUSPIELBAHN-TREFFEN (BSBT) as a network meeting of "L-gauge railway enthusiasts"; however, since the depot was already completely filled last year, and it is likely that this year even more interested people would like to attend, we have decided to change the registration process this year. What does this mean? This year we will probably not be able to automatically register every application as participation, but will have to make a selection from all submitted modules. After the submission deadline, we will make a preliminary track plan and use it to decide which modules can be used. We know that some of you build especially for the BSBT and it would be a pity if these models could not be included. We will take this into account as far as possible. We will then let you know by the end of May at the latest whether your modules can be included. We are planning on a similar number of participants as last year. As always, we will publish the final track plan shortly before the BSBT. We are looking for LEGO train enthusiasts... ... who would like to network and are looking forward to a lively exchange among each other. ... who would like to contribute a landscape to the joint layout. This can be a station, a piece of free track (rail through landscape), a factory, a bridge or a tunnel etc.. An absolut requirement is the ability to connect with other modules ... who are keen to give their locomotives free rein. ... who have built beautiful, realistic vehicles and would like to exhibit them or have them run. ... who can bring buildings, accessories or suitable urban constructions of their own. ... with functional models or exhibits with lights, engines, etc. It does not matter ... ... whether you build in a system (MILS, LEN, ...) or not. ... whether you use LEGO or self-built or third-party tracks. ... on which level you have built your landscape. You can submit anything from your first work to a professional model. ... whether your locomotives run with LEGO 9V, PowerFunctions, Powered Up, SBrick, Buwizz or similar. Participants with modules / landscapes / stations, etc. If you would like to participate with one or more modules (stations, open track, bridges, tunnels, sidings, etc.), please apply by 31 March 2022 at We will then send you the application form and a planning sheet. Please enter your module, landscape, etc. as precisely as possible in the planning sheet and return the application documents by 31 March 2022. They are essential for participation in the event and for the preparation of the track plan. After reviewing all applications and planning a first track plan, we will send you confirmation of participation/cancellation via e-mail by 31.05.2022 at the latest. The aim is to create a varied driving experience. Please note that we can also plan different modules separately into the layout. ! Please use a separate planning sheet for each independent module, or several planning sheets for larger modules! The participation fee* is 30,- Euro each. Every LEGO train fan from the age of 14 may take part. Participants with independent layouts / mocs You can bring layouts or models that are not part of the joint layout, too. Apply by 31.03.2022: We will send you the application form. Please enter your model there, especially the size and type of model. We will arrange single models and single layouts after the track plan has been drawn up. Please return the documents by 31.3.2022! You will receive the venue plan with the location of your layout after the joint layout has been created. Landscapes with already existing track circles will not be considered for the community layout. However, they are welcome as individual installations. We will send you the confirmation/cancellation of your participation by 31.05.2022. The participation fee* is 30,- Euro. Every LEGO railway fan from the age of 14 may take part.
