Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I have the same fear, although I must admit that Kit is the only one of the three that I'd really want. I could also understand the choice to skip them since they do nothing in the scene It would! I'd love to see what techniques they'd use, especially for building his head Maz's Castle would defo be a lovely chance for some unique alien designs (Sidon Ithano springs to mind). I'd also suggest a Starkiller Base playset if we weren't already getting something similar with the Death Star this year

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I'd be happy to see almost anything on the list you've made but the UCS Jedi Interceptors is my absolute dream set. I don't buy UCS ships, but that would be one of my exceptions

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I've been thinking the same thing about Episode 3 sets! Based on what we've had this year, the rule I've used is 1-2 playsets, a buildable character, a midi-scale ship, and a diorama. My ideal lineup would be something like this: Obi-Wan's Blue Jedi Interceptor (£29.99) w/ Obi-Wan, R4-G9, and a Pau'an Palpatine's Arrest Remake (£79.99) w/ Anakin, Mace, Palpatine, Kit Fisto, Saesae Tiin, and Agen Kolar Buildable General Grievous (£149.99) w/ General Grievous Midi-scale Venator (£46.99) Mustafar Duel Diorama (£89.99) w/ Anakin and Obi-Wan I also think we could expect something similar for Episode 7's 10th anniversary next year, although the furthest I've got with ideas for that is a buildable BB-8. It seems like there isn't a lot of new content next year for LEGO to focus on, so I think both anniversaries will get at least something, with a bit of OT thrown in as well so that everyone's happy

Batman (DC Superheroes) 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Oh most definitely! Especially when the other main line of sets I buy is Star Wars, so even more black and grey/dark grey I must say, as frustrating as it is that we only get bat vehicles in this line, lego's been doing a good job at giving us a different villain in each of the media-based batmobiles (sans the Keaton one but that was a seemingly last minute change). We had Joker with 66, Scarecrow with the Tumbler, and now Harley and Freeze with TAS. Now if we could just get something with a version of Two Face I imagine that'll depend on what lineup they use for the film and how many years we'll have to wait until release, but it's nice to hope!

Batman (DC Superheroes) 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Looking at the mini Batmobile in the skyline, I'm curious do we think the Batmobile set will be black or dark blue? I'd prefer the latter personally, just for a little variety in the otherwise mostly black Batmobile lineup

    Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Though I’m sure people are disappointed we might only be getting Thor in the Surtur set, I’m honestly over the moon because this might mean we get a road worn Thor minifigure (still his best movie costume) The AoU final battle sounds exciting as well and gets me wondering what other battle scenes we could get in this black base style. The Titan battle from Infinity war would be my best bet, since that’d be mostly reused figures with only a new big fig Thanos and Iron Spider. Could also see the airport fight being done in a similar style

Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

This might reflect moreso my own wants but here goes. I've tried to space out the whole fellowship across a wave, plus some characters and locations that were left out in the OG sets. Fellowship of the Ring: Boromir's Stand. Probably the least likely one given how dark the subject is, but I was struggling to find any other scene that would provide the characters I was missing. Builds are the ruins where Aragorn tells Frodo to run, along with some additional trees and foliage. Figures are Aragorn, Boromir, Merry, Pippin, Lurtz, and two additional Uruk-hai. Two Towers: Nazgul Attack. I'll be honest, I mainly just want a Fellbeast. Builds are a small portion of Osgiliath and a Fellbeast. Figures are Frodo, Sam, Gollum, Faramir, and a Ringwraith. Return of the King: Mumakil Charge. Another creature build that I want to see (there may be a slight pattern to this). Build is a Mumakil. Figures are Legolas, Gimli, and three Haradrim. The Hobbit: Smaug. I think Lord of the Rings adopting sets similar to the Hungarian Horntail or the Tallneck would be a great way for some smaller but still displayable sets. Build is Smaug with a base of piled-up gold and jewels. Figure is Bilbo in his blue coat. Diorama: The Bridge of Khazad-Dum. Plenty of people have already expressed a want for this as a set in this thread. Builds are the Balrog and a portion of the bridge built on a black base with a "You shall not pass!" quote tile. Figure is Gandalf. I'm not good with imagining hypothetical prices and piece counts, so I'll leave that to anyone else if they so wish

Lord of the Rings Ongoing Discussion

I think a Lord of the Rings based Bag End with some additions would be more likely than a Hobbit one. Including Bilbo's party and Gandalf's cart would help expand the figure selection and piece count, whilst also not taking up so many pieces that it detracts from Bag End itself. The only rooms we'd need for Fellowship would be the entryway, parlour, kitchen, and Bilbo's study. Plus, all the Hobbits would be cheap to make with the new dual-moulded legs and a few extra recolours of the hobbit hair. Not that Thorin's company wouldn't be nice to get (the only Hobbit sets I got when they released were ones with no Dwarves) but as discussed Lego likely doesn't have the moulds to do those designs justice.

    Marvel Superheroes 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

I think the leaked set name mentioned a battle of Wakanda, so I'd assume that's IW, could be misremembering that though. Very happy with the new Cap, if it's from the Quinjet then I'm hopeful we'll get all six Avengers + Loki, but I doubt it. Thor at least would be easy reuse from the Thor's hammer set, though a new head would be ideal since he didn't have all that much of a beard in the movie. I could see Hulk being omitted on the basis that he never interacts with a Quinjet in the film, with the real reason being that Bigfigs are expensive haha.
