One wave (april) is 7 sets, the second wave (august) is 7 sets. 14 sets in total

We don't know if all of them are Dominion, and maybe they already have sets planned for 2023. Also, maybe they want to release them because of the hype. JW is a top seller for Lego, wouldn't be surprised. FK had lots of sets too.

Perhaps the other sets are the ones that were supposed to release in 2022, which might be more accurate Dominion sets(?). For example, Transformers Rise of the Beasts got delayed to 2023 and Hasbro has to delay the gimmick toy line to 2023 too (some might release this year) and those toys are not accurate according to leakers, meanwhile the Transformers Studio Series which is all about screen accuracy was set for release in 2023 anyway because the designers are only now getting the final designs. So Hasbro will now release both accurate and not so accurate toys in 2023 with the film. I wouldn't be surprised if the other sets are just the ones that were meant for 2022 before Dominion got delayed. Which might be another confirmation that JW will continue past Dominion as a theme into 2023.

The Na'vi are taller than humans, but I think normal minifigs would look good and one inaccuracy like this wouldn't be so bad. I am very curious on how they do them.

Eh, I like the cowl piece. I would rather have this than a skin tone printed on a black head, because Lego clearly can't print those well (ex. Mercy and Koko face prints).

This. I expect around 6-7 sets for Avatar. Let's keep in mind, Disney is doing the marketing and they will market it like crazy. Heck, I can see the trailers have "the sequel to the highest grossing film of all time" because Avatar beat Endgame in 2021 with a Chinese re-release. No matter hwat people say now about Avatar, the film was big when it came out and everyone ai talk to in real life, they like it or love it.

Keep in mind The Batman has two more sequels in development, so those will also get sets. Though, it would be cool if we got more buildings from the film.

I hope this means we get more Spider-Man sets, hopefully based on the Raimi trilogy.

I saw it, he got it wrong. GreekBricks who started this first, said we get Avatar 2 sets and 2 Brickheadz. He probably read it as Avatar 2 in we get 2 avatar sets instead of what was meant, avatar 2 in meaning as the second avatar film. I am surprised some people struggle with reading something so simple, same when people thought we get Avatar TLA sets when the photo was the James Cameron one

I think the first wave will be based on the 2nd film, maybe 1 set will be based on the first one. Perhaps the final battle with Quaritch in an AMP suit. I wonder how many sets we get, I would be ok if the first wave is 7 or 8 sets. This theme has potential to continue for a few years. Avatar 2 is this year, 2022 Avatar 3 is 2024 Avatar 4 is 2026 Avatar 5 is 2028
