OMG!! That is one of my favorite scenes! My favorite thing about it though is the kraken's stomach. And I have to say, I absolutely LOVE your sig. Makes me laugh every time! :pir_laugh2: :pir_laugh2: :pir_laugh2:

You mean expand it more to the left? I've been thinking about that. I suppose I could just take the lifting platform and use it to extend it. I've also been thinking about maybe extending the docks tho the right...

I can't wait to see it (unless I already have)! Well I think I'll post updates any time I can now. I have made the little red building into mini barracks (4 beds), have an interior to the officer's area, and have added a little open-air bar in the back. Look forward to some more significant updates in the next two weeks. Yes, that will take a while. The best of luck to you and your fort! The main problem with my fort is that I didn't plan any of it out. I just started building. Although my docks are big enough for a couple flagships and a sloop but it would be a bit crowded. Personally, I don't really care about governor's or admiral's or whatever's quarters, in my opinion barracks are all that is needed for sleep. I think there should be some kind of office or officer's area for maps, keeping records of things, etc., but the most I would give for a single person is a slightly nicer area in the barracks. Even on my upcoming ship the "Captain's quarters" is going to be everything but the living space, like the officer's area in my fort.

Actually right now I just need cheap redcoats, cannons, and guns.

The Sunken Treasure of Captain Beerbeard
Cpt. Tristan replied to Captain BeerBeard's topic in Pirate MOCs
Haha nice job. The octopus tentacles look really good, I like how it has buried itself so far in that rock. The rock is very well done, the skeleton, anchor, and shark eating that poor little fishie are a very nice touches. I feel your pain though, those infernal mermaids are always poking holes in my ships -
General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Cpt. Tristan replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
lol I know, I'm just posting that for anyone who doesn't know and look at this topic and wonder if its coming. And when I was talking about the first posts, I meant like the first page, when everyone was speculating whether the actual THEME was going to be released. -
That's actually a pretty good idea. And I'm thinking I might just made a redcoat version of the Caribbean Clipper with BSB sails, different decals, and actual cabin. I haven't actually seen the red BSB sails on an imperial ship so that inspired me even more.

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread
Cpt. Tristan replied to Oswald the Rabbit's topic in LEGO Pirates
149 pages!!! I find it funny to look at all of the first posts about speculating whether or not its going to come out. But the Black Pearl definitely is coming out, its already in a German toy store. After all, how could they not make the Black Pearl? It's a classic! German Toy Shop -
Really? You can easily get it of? you mean with soap and water or something? Cuz it won't come off with general handling (picking it up, or even rubbing). Well, anyway I like it because there are also fine tip and any Sharpie is easier to use than a brush.
-
Well it may not be visible but the cannon is at a reasonable angle, so it would smash the blue's head and get buried in the rock wall
-
Well personally I like to use a Sharpie to add details on things. This Star Wars clone helmet turned out very well: I just added the black strip on top.

Ok here's a couple funny pics: Hope you guys like!

Well my parents would pay of course, with their Paypal, just through my account. They don't really like having to make a separate account for things. I was hoping for actual suggestions for sites, sellers, or Bricklink stores though. I may actually be able to get some hull pieces, a full mast, and maybe a couple other nice things from my friend who has the pieces for the Caribbean Clipper, but I would still need the sails (including an extra square sail), extra hull piece, another mast, and rigging. And minifigs and cannons of course.
-
Well who's going to tell them I'm 13? It doesn't ask for age.

I agree. When you speak of history and the battles England and France have lost, well that's just completely "un-lego". This thread should just be of posting funny MOCs and discussing them. When you talk history there might be a definite victor. When you talk Lego, reds and blues have an equal chance. Let your battles and creations speak for themselves, and don't let history boss you around. *Spoken like a poet * Ah, c'mon. Can't we show some Bluecoat/Redcoat pride?

That confuses me as well. Anyway I think that it is over crewed, IDK how a ship that size could support that many people (food supplies, tasks, place to sleep). I don't even think they could all fit on the deck . You should also add some sails and maybe make the yellow area look a bit nicer? I agree with Weil though that you did a good job on the hull .

I have been working on my own port, Port de l'Ambition interminable, and am going to try to include most of that (I know there isn't room, I'm going to add a baseplate or two in the back). I have a cave with sea entrance on my fort
-
Added pics.

Well that little cave was just part of the baseplate that I put a platform on, now it's just a cave with a spare boat in it. Thanks though, and I'm planning to add taller walls with walkways along the battlements. If I get enough pieces I'll add a couple flat baseplates in the back with more walls, courtyard in the middle, barracks, armory(maybe), and bar. I'm also planning to move the little cabin with the crane somewhere else and replace it with a little trading area. Still working on interiors.
