Any news on Christmas in July? I heard a rumor that the Santas Workshop (40565) GWP from Dec 2022 will be GWP again I. July. I missed out on that one.
-
Any news on when the VIP pack will be available in USA? Also any rumors about 2x VIP points in December. I want to say they usually do it in mid December.
-
40565 is rumored threshold of $150 I am not seeing 40514 in VIP rewards on US site. Anyone else having success?
-
I like them both. I plan to add finished roof to 40565 and combine w/ Santa's workshop 10245 and Elf workshop GWP 40106. I also really dig that BAM sweater torso. Anyone know the part number or if it's exclusive?

BrickClicker has video up w/ images of new Christmas themed BAM and Nov GWP. $170 threshold. Hopefully it's worth it

Hoping to get some WV GWP leaks soon. I am holding off on picking up main street until then. Even if it sells out this winter, you have 2 years to pick it up.
-
Worth noting 40499 and 40426 are back in stock on US S@H, though $5 price increase
-
No exact dates yet (that I'm aware of). In the US market GWP are usually Thanksgiving weekend and mid December
-
He shared the set numbers over a month ago. Just didn't want it to sounds like breaking news lol... I'm really hoping for some GWP details to drop soon.
-
Old news but worth noting, rumored GWP set numbers (credit Brick Clicker) 40564 Nov 2022 GWP 40563 Dec 2022 GWP

I suspect 40514 Winter Wonderland VIP add on pack will come back too? Though I didn't find a date for the US, it is on UK Lego S@H. Also 40515 was slated to end in US 9/30, but is OOS As for GWP, I thought descriptions leaked in Oct last year

I agree with the general concerns about it leaning more city than old time village. I already have Hogsmeade, the bank from 60140 and 40305 Xmas'd out. Also adding Sesame st and thinking about a 2 story MOC of my Toys R Us 7848. I think that will provide a fleshed out main street for the trolley to connect the old time village to the market/fairgrounds.

Thanks Brick Clicker !!! I count 6 figs and buildings appear 6 studs deep. I love the trolly and plan open up the back portion if I decide not to motorize.

Minus the "naughty list" tile? 😂

Is it too early to speculate what the Christmas themed GWP will be for Nov and Dec? I read they will be minifig scale. My guess is more dioramas. Also curious if we will get some BAM that fit the theme.

Each shop has an apartment above it and tram having ability for power is a score. Thoughts on minifig count? I'm thinking at least 5 (2 shop owners, 2 shoppers, tram driver)
-
Sounds like you might have additional info? Are there pics out there?

I use the old style baseplates/road plates and therefore don't have a need for the newer road plate style. Also, since it's such a large part, I feel like they detract from the overall set value. That said, I like the look they bring to a fully furnished city where cost is not a factor. Just my $0.02
-
Thank you, that's a relief. Can you confirm it does NOT use the new road plates? Allegedly, official set name is "Main Street"

I'm dying for additional details to drop. Building descriptions, minifig count, tram track compatible? Help me, @BrickClicker. You're my only hope.
-
I am excited for the tram and new retail buildings. Not worried about another toy store since they are easy to repurpose. I hope they do not follow the template from recent City buildings that are basically shallow facades on a road plate.
-
I'm also in the US and got 6 packs from the retailer named after a river in South America <wink> ... though I would have preferred to buy from Lego
