This is so sad: https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-is-discontinuing-monkie-kid-in-stores/ So far it just looks like this is affecting European store locations, my local US LEGO store still has a large section dedicated to Monkie Kid as of August 7, 2021. If they are discontinued in stores I hope the LEGO Group will at least keep selling MK sets on their website for those of us outside Asia. As a huge fan of LEGO Monkie Kid, it blows my mind, as the theme is so wonderful, dynamic, and fun. I know there are a lot of reasons for all this but it begs the question... WHY IS MONKIE KID FAILING???????

*sigh* I knew I should have picked that up. I traced it back as far as I could at it just looks like Legofania on here said he saw a guy had a set list and price/piece count for next year's sets. They say "this list is from some guy who saw list of sets from Lego Store." But no reference is given. Is this another "Lloyd's Food Truck" debacle??

Borg tower would be awesome. Also DARETH'S MOJO DOJO needs it's time to shine finally.

Either one offers tons of value for the money. I would say that the Monkey King Warrior Mech set encapsulates more of what makes this theme what it is. Also, it is stellar on display and quite striking with all the lacquered gold. That being said, the Secret HQ is stuffed with awesome features and is super fun. Also, the BONE DEMON looks impeccable on display next to the Monkey King mech so if you are a sucker for good display potential I would pair those two in a heartbeat.
