I’m still wondering what this is in reference to 👀 Sorry does this imply Malak Fives and Revan? I know Renown said Malak is coming but technically he didn’t say Revan isn’t coming.

He seems to have the utmost confidence about his info, gives me the impression that it might be more than just prelim images. I think itsjustajoe’s comments are more of a wild card. He hasn’t specified more info, likely because he doesn’t have it (yet). He must’ve just been told at least 1 clone will be different. His insider source is different from the rest though, I believe he clarified this a while back on Reddit. also it’s cool to see you on Discord!

Palnet is extremely reliable, he is the one who informed extrabricks on insta of the all the detailed 2024 set info. Falcon Fan has cited him before too I believe. Legoleaks mod is fairly reliable also. He has shown to know some inside info which has been consistent with prior leaks. And just to mention, Palnet has reiterated that plain phase 2’s are assured. But he is checking his sources to verify if one or more of the clones in the set is unique / a clone gunner.

I 100% agree with the reasoning for the visors and part-ability you stated. (I also don’t think they look that bad, and I like the functionality). However this reasoning for the kamas doesn’t work given the fact that Rex is coming in a $600+ set that is not aimed at kids and will not have Rex in a seated position. The actual likely reason for this? Budget / money. I wouldn’t classify Lego as lazy but they absolutely can be cheap or let’s say limited to their budget. The fact that lego isn’t shying away from using them in other themes that are geared towards kids, isn’t because they are characters that don’t have to be seated. If that was a legitimate concern, lego wouldn’t include them at all to maintain consistency. After all, no kid is gonna “follow the rules”. They’re gonna try and seat the ones they want.

What are you guys’ predictions for DC next year? If the new DC (batman) sets sell like I think they will, I’m expecting a single 4+ set. BUT on the off chance these sell well, I’m hoping for another dark knight set, hopefully the Bat from TDKR.

40453, I love that it’s just the og lego Batman suit but slightly updated. Looks fantastic to me! Me too! Really hoping we get a Guy Gardner GL minifigure.

what hair are you upgrading him with? I’m really digging the E-wing & starfighter set, both ships look excellent. But the T-6 seems somewhat bland to me, in part because of the lack of interior with just a single person cockpit. But figure wise I vastly prefer the T-6. UGH.

I see some strong dislikes, but not any hating. I guess it depends on how you view hating. I thought they were mid legs the whole time, but looking at it again I think they’re regular.

Is there a trend line we can see of lego set prices? Cause I remember when we got the big one (beginning of last year I think?) and it seems like grown a lot more since then. I understand the first time was to adjust for inflation, but can we really attribute that for all the other times? It’s getting crazy. With that in mind, this set’s price isn’t just insane to me, it’s actually unbelievable. Truly, I do not have the imagination to picture how this happened. This set looks like a $50 set at best, with Lego’s price gouging, maybe $65. But $90!?!? $90 for a set with 3 figs that lack any kind of nice detail beyond the torso (and one leg print) and a nice (but nothing special) build. This set is set up for failure. Regardless of how the Marvels is received, I don’t think there’s a multi-verse where this set sells well.

If I had to guess, we’ll probably get another set in Jan-March, that will include thrawn and maybe Ezra as well.

So the marvels set is gonna be a ship. “The hoopty” which should be revealed tomorrow. Interested to see the size of the ship, based on the piece count it seems it may use a lot of big pieces (or at least one would hope). Also interested in if the villain of the film will be included. But not that it was surprising, all three Marvels are included.

That’s a new hairpiece on Hawkeye right?? It looks awesome, and it almost looks like he’s in his Ronin gear (please be true). Overall I like the series, my favorites are beast, Hawkeye, Werewolf, Moonknight and storm…maybe Wolverine too if he has some dual molded arms. Goliath is such a weird inclusion not only in the series but also in the MCU’s interpretation of his costume. It’s just the antman suit but in blue and white. His costume should’ve been more unique in my opinion. The helmet print is very very detailed though which is nice.

I think possibly the worst case scenario that this will cause is people opening the boxes in store. With the bags it was already starting to get bad at local stores, but with boxes…. I wouldn’t be surprised to walk into a Walmart and see every box opened up. And even though I love the idea of the buildable sentinel, I don’t think I would’ve traded the plastic bags to have it. I don’t want to buy the entire series, I just want to buy specific figs and I’m not about to pay the extra S&H from bricklink just to have them either. But I think we can all agree that switching to cardboard was a move to save money on plastic rather than be primarily “eco-friendly”.

Could this mean what I think it means!?!? 👀👀👀👀👀 if the rumors that are true, then I hope at the very least we get some indirect tie ins that are comic book based. It’s starting to feel likely that we will get the X-mansion next year. But to get 1 official tie in, as a Minifigure polybag of just Hugh’s Wolverine in the new suit would leave me satisfied. The suit is just awesome, and I can’t wait to see what the cowl will look like on him.

Considering the last live action Wolverine film was rated R and now his next one is also rated R, I wonder if that will effect the production of Wolverine toys and purchases in the future. Parents might not like having their kids get toys of the character. I mean Deadpool is pretty much off limits for lego since he has became synonymous with the Ryan Reynolds version. Granted not all live action appearances of the Wolverine character have been rated R like Deadpool, But it makes me wonder if they will keep Wolverine in the R-rated realm for live action in the future. Either way, I’m glad that we’re getting another new wolverine in the CMF and I hope he’s super detailed. Rumor has it that Hugh Jackman is gonna suit up in a very comic-booky costume in DP3.

Looks solid, I haven’t seen much of rebels so I need to get caught up on it before ahsoka. But isn’t Jacen like half green or something?

I know a lot of people strongly dislike KOTCS, but I didn’t think it was bad and I loved the ending where he ends up with Marion (as he should) and the tease that his son has a bit of adventure in him as well (just like Indy and his father). So in that way, I thought thought the movie did a good job showing us what Indy’s legacy might be and where he ends up. Never thought we should or even would ever get a follow up. Knowing that this movie doesn’t actually enhance any of the characters (and their fates) but is just a pointless sequel is sad. Probably not gonna see it lol. but the largest crime of this movie releasing is that lego didn’t go back and make a TLC set with the grail. Smh.
