Marvel Superheroes 2023 - Rumors & Discussion
Legocentrico replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
As far as we know, Lego could have been unaware of his presence, perhaps he was kept hidden by the production, perhaps it was a last minute choice to insert him, or they simply did not take him into consideration because he is not the protagonist and appears only at the end… I still think that if there is a third series cmf could easily be inserted -

In the smallest set I always imagined Wolverine vs Sabretooth, with a motorbike or something.. Lego loves to put the most popular character in the cheapest set.. maybe without a hood or with a slightly different outfit, to make it different from the one/those inevitably contained in the more expensive sets. Sentinel and Blackbird (Hasbro calls it "x-jet" so probably Lego too) I think they all agree and they should absolutely be there! Instead of the Savage Lands, however, I would like to see a temple of Apocalypse, with the bigifigure, the tools to regenerate, etc. I love your idea of Attack on the X-Mansion with the Juggernaut bigfig (although I don't think we would get 2 bigfigs, so it would mean that there is no Apocalypse :-/), I don't have a preference regarding the structure, I trust Lego.. even if I hope something more complex than the leaked image :-P Also, we need to find a place for Sinister, who should be the main villain of the new season -

What are your highlights for a potential X-MEN line??? For me, in first place, there is the big figure of Apocalypse (very difficult), in second place the couple Mystique and Sabretooth (present in the preliminary of the x-mansion therefore probable) and finally I would like a new mold for Cyclops, a hairpiece with a molded visor, instead of the simple 2014 print, it would be a great piece! Oh, I know I'm boring with these x-men but with upcoming movies at risk of being postponed due to the strikes, I don't know what else to talk about! If we then find out that Lego has no plans to cover up the show, that would be a big blow :-D -

From what I understand, together with Wolverine there is the head -which should be a standard head- and something to contain it (the translation was very strange). Instead, along with Beast and Storm, there are "pieces". It is not specified but I doubt if they are standard torso and legs. Right now I'm imagining a brick-build body with a minifigure head.. PS. since someone asks, I stopped talking about cinema because 1) I said everything I had to say and 2) because it's a forum dedicated to Lego and I don't want to take advantage of the patience of moderators and users who aren't interested in the subject :-p -

If I remember correctly in the original show there was a huge sentry that produced normal sentries, in this case a set like hulkbuster “ucs” would make sense :-D I agree with you, an announcement would be enough to light the fire, and comic-con would have been the perfect occasion to say or even show something! there's still tomorrow but I don't think it will happen.. Brick Clicker, if you hear me, put a horse's head in the bed of all your informants and let us know something ASAP :-D -

This is actually normal, unfortunately… I hope to have some good news between August and September, when we start talking about the January sets -

You seem biased to me, as if you already know that the film will go badly :-D I'm very neutral, I want to understand how much the public loves this franchise, and only the box office data will tell us for sure. Guardians and Spiderman did well, so it's possible. Despite the language problems I'm sure I've made my position clear. Maybe it's still my fault if you don't understand, maybe it's a problem with the translation, I don't know… anyway I'm not going to continue this ot :-) -

Apparently they showed a couple clips of X-Men97 in San Diego. Lego has a stand, I wonder if they will resume the wonderful habit of revealing some next year's sets during the show :-D -

My perception is the result of my 360-degree experiences: the first film in my opinion is bad, I fell asleep at the cinema, every review I've read is negative, every time I hear about Brie Larson as Captain Marvel I perceive dislike. And as I already specified, I don't follow extremist channels, I don't like hate-mongers (just like I don't like fanboys), but I follow channels that are neutral or friendly to Marvel… so I guess my perception about the franchise isn't wrong. Maybe it's different abroad, maybe it's a much loved franchise, that's why I'm waiting for the results of the cinema, to have an objective, updated and worldwide response. If you notice I have never expressed my opinion on the character or on the actress, with my first comment I wanted to put what (in my opinion) is the perception of the public in relation to the choices of Lego. If with the following comments I seemed more provocative to you, it's only because, I repeat, I don't like haters but I don't like fanboys either :-p -

The Marvels is aimed at a young, multi-ethnic audience, does not have a protagonist with legal problems and belongs to the same universe as the Guardians, as well as being the sequel to a very, very, very loved and blockbuster film and greatly appreciated by audiences and critics. I see no reason why it can't replicate the great success of the first… -

When I talk about franchise I mean everything related to that character. But, as I have already said, it will be the earnings of the next film that will give us an exact idea of the perception of the public. However, a CMF reveal would be great! But I haven't read anything anywhere :-/ -

But they're still called Iron Man 2 and Captain America the winter soldier, right? :-D no conspiracy, in my opinion it is clear that the franchise is weak, but I repeat that I don't want to convince anyone But they will be a good yardstick to test the love for that franchise, and that's what I was talking about :-) Hehe.. In Italy there is a way of saying "climbing straws", I don't know if it is used abroad :-D -

They had to add two new actresses to the lead to give the film a boost, this describes the situation perfectly :-) whoever wants to think it's a strong franchise is free to do so. There is no translation for the word "incel" but I can imagine the meaning, I don't frequent extremist circles, the film and Larson didn't like very moderate fans. however the earnings from the sequel will be a good yardstick to test people's love -

in Europe it seems to cost €94.99 :-0 I'm not so surprised by the price, but because we're talking about a weak franchise, it's the sequel to a disliked movie about one of the most hated superheroes in the MCU.. I wonder what gives all this courage to lego??? -

Maybe it's the next step in lego political correctness :-/ it's a very worrying trend, especially with characters like Red Hulk and The Leader on the way :-// The Marvels set is nice. But it suffers from all the problems you have already pointed out :-/// Marvel 2023 continues to disappoint -

I'm a bit skeptical about these lists, sometimes they are not correct, some code gets lost along the way, some could be DC etc… between August and September we should have the first details, I will hold my breath until then -

how do you count the wings? 1 piece, 2 or 3? :-D I count 9 new pieces in total, if the wings count for 3 for the new series it is better to wait for the detailed images -

(Regular head and second blue head) New helmet mould there is talk of two heads and a helmet. I see no possibility of confusion and in any case BC has confirmed that he has seen preliminary images, probably the same ones of Promobricks etc, I think that with a minimum of marvel knowledge it is impossible to confuse the two characters……. also to me it seems very unlikely that all those who have published a list have made the same mistake randomly on the same character …… -

All descriptions, from first to last, have included Kang. I doubt that they confused the characters, also because there was clearly talk of a blue face, BC even specified two heads and a new helmet… and with everything that has happened this year I see no reason to doubt that the character has been replaced after the scandal. Perhaps, sooner or later, some leaker will shed light on the matter
