For some reason the Winter VIP add on pack is available for 1.000 points on the Dutch site. So no GWP, but a regular reward. I did not hear anything about it/see any mention of it; is it also available on other websites?

From the images of the UCS Razor Crest it appears they also included the container with the frog eggs, which I love as an Easter egg :D Overall the interior looks pretty cool if you ask me. The whole ship feels as if you could live in it while navigating hyperspace, and that’s something they did pretty well I think. -

I think these were mostely guestimated, but perhaps Frog Lady? And someone thought Ahsoka might show up, but I’m not really sold on that idea tbh. -

A new photo just leaked that appears to show a whole lot of Mythrol heads, so apparently this would support the idea of the Mythrol also coming with the UCS Razor Crest. -
Yes it’s expensive, but the more I look at it the more I start to dig it. I also love the light bricks in each compartment and I think this will make for a great build during the holiday season with some HP on the background. I know some people wanted a train that could ride the tracks, but I’m pretty pleased with it being a display model. Minifig selection overall seems really good, though could have used some more leg printing.
-
Haha yeah, it most definitely is wishful thinking on my part but it also isn’t completely out of this world. And good one on the train ticket, I totally forgot about that! It does allow for some speculation/hope on our side

I share the disappointment over adult Ron and Hermione missing, but there may still be a surprise in store there. Surely the Lego designers will anticipate this sentiment, even they know everyone wants the original trio at both the start and end of the journey. But remember DA and the surprise Harry+Hagrid box? I wouldn’t be surprised if they again include a little box with step 22 or whatever which includes adult Ron+Hermione and a little brick-built luggage trolley or something.

There seem to be so many great options for sets, I truly hope they’ll surprise us with some. And I really enjoy the 1930’s architecture and cities, so they could also make a great addition to people’s modulars and cities.
-
Oh yes, Hog’s Head would have been perfect! Also, if anything the Hogsmeade Village set shows that people really love these builds and they make a good addition to any Winter Village as well.

Just saw Secrets of Dumbledore, and though I got the idea it was not that well received (also on here) I actually liked it! I really hope we do get some sets based on it, but I also know Lego seems a bit hesitant to burn their fingers with it. One thing that would be cool is Kowalski’s bakery, slightly in the open back dollhouse style of 4 Privet Drive so that it would also provide a closed building that fits in a city. Probably daydreaming here, but it would be nice!

Seems like they went with nearly the same design for the cannon on top of the AT-TE. I’m mostly curious to see if the ~300 additional pieces went into a dwarf droid sidebuild, the new design for the legs, or a decent interior (hoping for the last). -

Haha not even! But very true, it just doesn’t make sense :/ -

Agree, all three look really good. I’m just really curious to see what might warrant such a high price now. Even if you throw in a new canopy piece and several large/printed pieces, it seems hard to justify -
I guess they just made appropriate details to enhance the otherwise empty ceiling a bit. Although one could argue the chess board and potions might refer to two of the tasks in the book? The Devil’s snare and Fluffy both got a dedicated set in the modular system, but potions (not in the movies) and the chess board (standalone full scale set) did not. Brown frogs refer to chocolate frogs and the white frog might resemble the toad beneath which the basilisk egg hatched (white because it’s its skeleton).
