  1. Meeeoow Do you really think that? You think there’s no subtle way of trying to deflect that? I doubt very much the response would have been that I would be lynched day one for not wanting to be framed, and if it would have avoided this mess it would have been very helpful. Because it could only be a block, right? Although, it actually could have been a block, or could have been anything else that you have flatly refused to even consider. You think it’s this straightforward? With a role called “the trickster” around? What has this stage got to do with it when what we’re talking about happened on night one? We have been told about the trickster and you have been tricked. Get over this tunnel vision Fergus, it is not helping anyone. And: Meow
  2. Meeeeeoooooowwww. Clearly today was not the best dat for an unscheduled extended preening session. I think some of you have just about lost your damn minds. Rude. Although I appreciate you not targeting me for the vig kill. It seems I need to add some clarity here. I am not the trickster I am town. So when you talk about lynching the trickster, that is not me, and when you talk about lynching me, you are suggesting lynching a townie for absolutely no good reason apart from one person repeating over and over that I am something that I'm not. I'm not the trickster. Puuuurrrrrrr. I agree with lynching the trickster when we find them, I disagree with lynching me because I am not the trickster. Excellent, let's not lynch me. Can we just revisit this? This really bad assumption that I am the tricktster, because I'm not. Fergus, who was given one of two framing roles on day one, claims, so everybody knows for certain that he has a night action, so if they want to interfere with a night action night one they have a 100% chance with Fergus. It was (unnecessarily) decided ahead of time that that frame would be used on me. I didn't object or try to steer the action elsewhere, I just wasn't bothered by it. Fergus has an unsuccessful night (it happens all the time, don't worry) and now I am painted as the trickster. How trickster-ish of me. Claiming on day one was good, announcing your target was not and it didn't have to be done. I can tell you for certain I have no desire to be vig-killed, thank you. Like I said, wouldn't I try to steer you somewhere else?? Everyone knew what you were going to do, in fact you might have had the same result no matter who you targeted, it was only dumb luck for (presumably the trickster) that it happened to me. Also, and it was Keyarra who made this point, how crap would the role have to be for the very first night action that targets it to give it away? Found it: Emphasis mine. You might not listen to me but you might listen to a dead fellow townie. You're all getting tunnel-vision on one thing and it's wrong. The more people that just turn up and say "yeah, it's true for sure" is really worrying when nobody stops to consider how ludicrous the whole thing is. It's like the more people agree with you, the happier you feel you're right, even though actually you're all just wrong and not even considering anything else. Fergus, please pull your head out of this rabbit hole, I don't have a framer action, bring your head up and look around. I am town. Killing a townie over a false assumption and lack of critical thinking is really just as bad. Ok, I understand kills are resolved last, so if Keyarra had been the vig, she would have killed Wyeth and then either Wyeth or Scum3 would have killed her. I think that's fairly straightforward, really. It is also possible that Fergus is the trickster. I said on day one that it was against the rules for a player to target themselves but Hayleigh pointed out that it actually said that wasn't the case necessarily. Is it possible for the trickster to give themselves an action and try to blend in? Gives himself a frame action and is able then to paint himself as town, maybe? I'm trying to find an answer because I know I'm not the trickster. Nah fam. What if Wyeth framed you and your investigator was sane and his investigator was insane. Dead simple, 3 scum; you, Wyeth and Priella. Or, of course, you framed Wyeth and your investigator was insane and his was sane. Meeooww.
  3. Meow. Vote: Hendrick Horse Meow. I wanted to hear something from you. I did, and I don't like it. You seem to think that the reasoning for voting for you from your main accusers, i.e. apparently attempting to direct the vote away from Pernilla, is acceptable to you as you start to look for someone else to vote for who was in a similar position. You found one. Not the next one, but one after. But you did think Wyeth was scummy, so why would you vote for someone else who thought so too and even gave better reasons? Did you even read my reasons for voting for Wyeth? Did you read my reasoning for voting for Wyeth over Priella? Meow, you just plucked another name. I should pat pat pat pat pat you in the head. Meeeooww. Lyev wondered if you two were playing off each other and I agreed with him, and now you're directing us away from Wyeth, even though you still seem to think he's scummy. A significant amount of discussion today (which it seems you've now read) has been about whether or not there might be scum, and if so how many, amongst the investigators and their investigatees. There was Math, even. This sounds like an impassioned plea, but really it's just stating the obvious with added emotion. Given your "passion" about this, why aren't you voting for your best bet within that six? A group that also contains Wyeth! Meow.
  4. Meeeoooow. You don't need to have conniptions over this, I was trying to add to your analysis, not detract from it. I also wasn't accusing you of being scum (or a mind reader) so there's that, too. Did he give any indication to you as to why he thought the focus would be on him last night? If the scum received two frame actions (unlikely but possible), then they could easily claim one and look townie and keep the other hidden. And before Fergus has conniptions again, I'm not accusing you Fergus, I'm just making the point. Hmm. No harm in hearing what you have to say. Also you can tell us yourself why you thought the focus would be on you last night. Meeeow.
  5. Meeeoooww! Fantastic news about Priella! Lynching a scum on day one is awesome. I won't miss the smell of wet dog and the barking, but I will miss Shanley though. Fergus's unsuccessful frame is news to me. The only thing I was wondering about was whether Fergus would actually frame me (after a conversation with Maddock) but it turns out he apparently did and... well, I am at a loss. Well, call me selfish (I am a cat) but I worry this is more about me than you. I was the only publicly known target for anything last night, maybe there's some redirection thing going on with the trickster? I don't know, because it's not explicitly mentioned, but I feel like I'm still being framed even though you apparently didn't. Meeooow, about the investigation results, our other headache for today. Thank you for doing that, but there is a fault in your reasoning. According to your statistics, they are all random choices, but last nights actions would not have been random choices, certainly not by everyone. So things that seemed unlikely begin to look a lot more probable than before. It is extremely likely the scum received a framer action - one of us would have mentioned it if we had been given it but scum would keep it to themselves. It is also extremely likely that if there are two scum remaining (and I tend to think that there might be) that one scum would have framed the other and that wouldn't be random. Other things are random, like which of the investigators was insane, but the choice of targets would have been influenced by the investigators opinions of the rest of us. I also agree that two scum are possible in the context of results of three town investigation results, it will just be difficult to work out which and whether it's two, one or zero. Meow.

    FABUPUNK! Nights

No, it couldn't be. Our Captain Goaty McGoatface would never... Do we have anything to drink around here? I kinda don't want milk anymore with Caylin the way she is. Like my Mama always used to say "don't drink from crazy" but it sure is a shame.
  7. Meow. Oh I see. That was a result of me not understanding the monkey when he was talking about modulo 13 or whatever. You forgot scratcher of furniture and shredder of upholstery. Oh and Baroness! I think that's kinda a big deal!
  8. Meeeeooow. Hmm, as usual for a day one there's not much to go on for voting, yet vote we must. Looking around there's really not much at all to most people's reasoning for lynch candidates, not that there could be, except one person has stood out a little bit more than everyone else. Vote: Wyeth Walrus I think this is the best case we have right now. Wyeth made a big case against Hendrick and seemed to really think he'd caught a scum out by accusing him. Hendrick said he actually thought that Wyeth was the scum, and that he appeared to have a scum perspective (which, looking back, is actually a reasonable accusation I feel) and indicated he was really seriously considering voting for Wyeth, but didn't actually vote for him. The first proper vote for anyone was actually by Priella, and I think it would have to be quite a brave scum to vote first with crap reasons. Priella might be brave, but against Wyeth she gets the benefit of the doubt, especially as Wyeth, having made such a case against Hendrick, then actually votes for Evern. For being late. Meeooow. I don't understand why he didn't follow through with voting for Hendrick, and I don't get why Hendrick just signposted that he was going to vote for Wyeth without actually voting. Lyev with his puurrrfectly fluffy mane might be onto something saying there was some kind of weird exchange between them (I forget what he actually said). If Wyeth really thought he'd caught Hendrick as a scum, why is it now the time for poke votes (not necessarily helpful) and other shenanigans? Could someone put more things on tables for me to push off please? Full glasses are the best as the liquid mixes with the broken glass. Meeooow.
  9. Meow. That is a good point. Meow. Meow. I assumed that people would have seen the discussion and thought "Maybe it's Calissa, Keyarra, Priella or Shanley... NO WAIT IT'S ME!" and then claimed like we've all been asking them to, so even if people haven't been directly asked they would have known to claim? I mean, I know you misread it, but the actual second framer would maybe have had it more at the front of their mind even before the four of us were mentioned, wouldn't they? Meow. Meow, no that makes sense actually now, thank you. Meow.
  10. Meow. A lot has happened since I last spoke. Meow. I agree that it would be helpful for the investigators to give us their findings tomorrow, but I fear there are more variables than those listed here. We don't know what other roles are around within the town, if any, and we don't know what other actions the trickster may have. Additionally, we know the scum have a blocker, so any one of these roles could be blocked, and we're assuming that only town get the investigative actions here. If scum get one, what's to stop them saying they investigated another scum as town? That's rhetorical btw. Meow. Do you have a poop obsession? The framer might not contact the investigator who subsequently investigates the person they're planning to frame, and there's a reasonable chance they will contact a scum. If you're going to contact 5 random people who are all in a position to talk to anyone else they want that you can't control anyway, then you may as well just tell everyone. Meow, sounds like you have a bit of the crazy, your highness. Meow. I think declaring investigative targets in public in advance is a terrible idea. We will get some results tomorrow and have to make the best of them, but even if the investigative target was agreed between only the investigators (impossible, even if we assume all the investigators are town) you still couldn't plan for random interference by the scum or the trickster. I was going to reference this, but you responded to Keyarra's post about it. I don't know how the trickster would be able to play a balancing game and be strategic if they don't know people's alignment. I don't think the trickster knows our alignments either, so your original statement doesn't make much sense to me. Meow. Meow, smelly dog this is not exactly an insightful contribution in amongst all your noisy barking. Meow. Apparently, no, self-targeting is not allowed: Meow, I am not the second framer, so I think we can safely assume someone has lied and that the scum have indeed received that action. I cannot see why a townie would lie about receiving a framing action; I would perhaps understand caution if it were another role, but not with a framer role. Meow.
  11. Meow. I agree with you, but furthermore we should still be wary of those who claim to have this action and claim not to use it. As Keyarra said, it’s possible we won’t get all three investigation reports back and I am struggling right now to see how these investigations will help us until we get further down the line of this crisis and maybe get some sort of pattern, because it’s going to be very difficult to trust the results I think. It might be not too bad if the insane investigator is actually told they’re insane, but then I can’t believe that would actually happen because it would then just be an inverse investigator, surely? So we won’t know which are the right results, and would anyone know if the scum got an action and didn’t claim it? Or claimed it and used it but said they stayed home? The more I think about this, the more complicated it gets. Meeoow.
  12. Meow. Good morning, where's my milk? Caylin, be a dear.... So we not only have nasty loyalists to deal with but there's some maniac running around with some weird absorber role who gives out actions and those actions are not necessarily all that helpful. This sounds horribly complicated, and I can feel a migraine coming on. Hack! Hack! Hack! A hairball for you to play with. You're welcome. Do we not have some speech therapists in the party? Poor Lyev couldn't even understand Omrom and now Maddock sounds afflicted. This, I think, is the only thing we can be sure of right now. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some licking to do. Meow.
