Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Humph," snorted the monk. "Heathen!" he muttered. "Now have we arrived at the cemetary yet? Or are my 400+ year-old legs delaying us?" -
Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Remember to whom you are talking," the monk chided Alisha. "Master Aragon is the acting commander of this quest and I am the spiritual head. You will not be the one commanding us." -

"Yes, off we go to pray over the dead." Fasting commences... -

With that Monk Pretzel purchases one tonic and one potion, and that's final. OOC: Got to go will change statistics later. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"You are too kind...I hope you did not spend my gold on it." Turning to Cleric Wulf he said, "2 tonics for me please. Would not want Leo outdoing me." OOC: Or should I go for 1 and 1? -
Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"But if you pray and fast you would need to spend the money on the Holy Bomb. Thus, you defeat the enemy and save your money. Furthermore, since you are fasting, you also save money on food." [but Monk Pretzel did not actually stick out his tongue] Still Monk Pretzel had a difficult decision in front of him. Give up his precious, hard-earned (yeah, right!) gold or not. He loved his gold, immensely so, but... Sometimes the spiritual head has to give up his gold for the sake of others, he thought. Perhaps it will further my cause in converting them, he mentally and hopefully added. "The potion seems the more useful item in this quest, but the tonic is awfully tempting as they are selling them dirt cheap in comparison to what one can buy them for elsewere, however, being that I am the only man with ether on the team, I would deem it pretty pointless, at least for this quest, but...what say ye all?" -
Funny, I can't.

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"This demon will not die except through prayer and fasting," replied Monk Pretzel sagaciously... [Oh, sorry, clerically!] OOC: Look at Daxus Octavian's avatar. About us undead looking a Viking as you will ever see...sorry Norseman. Are you sure you caught it? Tossing bombs is not something to be done at home. "I think you may be right," muttered Monk Pretzel, after stroking his beard for a while, "however, Cleric Wulf told us it was only one and I have been taught to always believe a fellow cleric so..." -
Oh, pick me, pick me. Ahem, for stopping you that is, not for getting killed.

SES all the way! BSB and RBR are the next in line. I think I already made an argument on this in another topic or two even, so I won't talk about it again, but, suffice it to say, I think SES utterly rules. But I would still give a good thumbs up to RBR for the great minifigs, but it is a quite frankly, horrible design. Although I think I may prefer, almost on sole account of the minifigs, to BSB, but they are both tight.

Big medieval landscape: BIG UPDATE on page 26
Palathadric replied to maydayartist's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Very, very, very, very nice building. Could we see another shot sometime soon of the entire landscape? Just to see how the house fits in, etc. -

"Yay!" says Monk Pretzel, suddenly sounding very childish for his advanced years. -
Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Yes, sir!" Monk Pretzel responded smartly and then went around shouting, "Undead Viking, I am here to slay. Come out from wherever you were hiding." ...Slightly odd, to say the least. What was still more odd, was that he was not the least bit sarcastic. -
Ooops, sorry, I forgot about that. On another topic: we are quite a newbie team heading out on this quest, aren't we? Half of us are level 1 fellows, too bad Mibbiwocket couldn't be chosen as well. That would've been fun.

Heroica RPG - Quest #24 Hunt for the Draugr
Palathadric replied to Capt.JohnPaul's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Well, it could if ye all convert before we head on out," with that said he leered in a somewhat peculiar manner for his aged face. -
"Nice kitty," smiled Monk Pretzel uneasily. I wish I could send you to Hell fire and damnation now! he thought, thankfully not aloud, already he had met with more animosity than he had anticipated. Such an ungodly crowd, he mused. Perhaps it will be easier to convert our enemies than our "friends". "Don't worry," he said turning to Olinn, deciding to use tact over force. "I am a very nice person...once you convert...although a gold coin or two does the job nicely as well." He shrugged and looked hopefully over at Olinn. "So sorry, you were not chosen to go on the quest," he added, sounding surprisingly sympathetic.

Is MegaPOV "better" than POV-Ray? -
Absolutely agree. It's brilliant! Thanks so much, It makes it a whole lot easier to navigate.

Monk Pretzel shakes his head and mutters, "infidels!" These "heroes" are tougher to convert than those foolish guards outside, he thought. I would duel them, but unfortunately that is forbidden by the church.

A little strange you say, eh? Mental Note: Better tell the Higher Ups to minus one point from Leo's status. Not just anyone can offend a child of God and get away with it. Why do you stammer and whisper so? ...Unless you have something to hide, eh? Ha! From me is it that you wish to hide something? Do not flatter yourself. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed!
