That's the problem with such things, they become a danger no matter whose hands they are in. "Maybe we aught to try to find the other parties and tell them what we have found...or else we keep looking for the Oracle...though it's risky."

"Yes. In a sense you speak rightly. Just as devils and demons are virtually synonymous, so Zoot and the devil himself are virtually synonymous. Whether Zoot actually is the devil himself or another underling, I'm not sure. Names get confused when translated."

I look at Throlar rather astonished. "He is...the king of the demons. Surely you didn't suppose the arch demons answer to no one?"

"Not quite." I say, coming up behind the party. "The way I heard it told, they were, in a sense, forced into the arms of the Wolfgang, because they didn't see anyway of bringing about their goals for the city. I may not agree with their actions, but it's not as if they were wholly throwing their support in with the Wolfgang, or blind tools of Ulric's ambition... However, I must add the working with the devil is sure to have consequences. ...Not necessarily associating Ulric with the devil, but a figure of speech, you see?" I survey my surroundings and the Tritech packing up shop. It's certainly hard to see the Founders as evil when they're doing so much good, I muse.

I throw a Smoke Bomb.

So what then? Do we drop it or should I Tiger Balm her? I kind of think somebody else may prefer the role of "stealing a feel of her family jewelry."

Just get the rest of us up before you kill or be killed.

I gulp, but grit my teeth and cover my body with my shield, attacking from the Front Row. "We have Smoke Bombs just in case." I whisper.

For all these years, you didn't dream about Heroica, and just now you do. Good to see you around, Scuba! We could always use an OP arm on our side.

I'm just wondering how doomed would work on her...would she die before she is immunized? I suppose so...or?

I didn't notice.

"I..." I hesitate for just a second. "I follow you, captain. I will swing my sword until you tell me to do otherwise."

I loiter behind the others for a brief moment.

By the way, while Elphaba is with us, let me mention that I think it's entirely unfair that she doesn't have a Healing Staff along...plus some to hand out.

I attack from the Front Row encouraged by the generally positive results of the last round.

"That's probably what heroes have been saying all of this time. It's convenient until people start criticizing us for it. But no better alternative comes to mind at present, so I will come along."

"I'm not sure where the others stand on this, but as for me, I'm not too thrilled about working with the houses anymore. I could be wrong, but I do think the majority of us think the same way. It's funny because with all of the talk about us compromising with the houses, and certainly there has been a sense of that, most heroes I know have had it up to here with the houses. I guess we never acted though."

Maybe I'm too pessimistic, but I do think we will have a very hard time winning this.

I equip the Slimy Sword and attack from the back row. "I don't think we can win this."

"If they have the Nornalis...does that mean that they are indestructible?"

"I suppose what we're really after is just if you have any idea of what is going on and what or who is behind this return of the Founders? We felt compelled to follow the path your article led us on, that is why we are here more than anything. "In case you were wondering, the Copper Fox and the Feathered Serpent are both with the Wolfkin, I heard the Dragon Lord is dead, we have a party searching for the Oracle as well. Have you heard any news from Hestia Bonaparte?"

"Good sir, would it be too much of a disturbance to her if you would simply go into the room and inform her that heroes of Heroica would like to see her? I am sure none of us wish in anyway to disturb her or your establishment here, but we all strongly believe that she may wish to see us, even need to, and therefore it would be a great disappointment to both us and her if we would be staying under the same roof as her and not be able to make her acquaintance. All that I ask is that you inform her that we are here and would like to meet her, that is all. If she says no, we will not disturb you anymore about it."
