I can't help but thinking they could've done a bit more with the quinjets interior you've got the cockpit a nice little two person seating area a storage area for flying drone thing and a fairly blank area in the back that can be used for a couple of minifigs if your patient and delicate enough with your fingers. personally I'd gone for a bigger interior with enough seats for four avengers and clips to hold their weapons if possible I'd also put in a way to store captain americas bike or have a space big enough for hulk.

I'd say yes but you'd probably need to drastically scale it down unless you have the bricks time space and money to build it to this sort of scale: not mine obviously but I think its similarily proportioned to the helicarrier minus the propeller rings. http://www.damncoolpictures.com/2007/01/lego-aircraft-carrier.html heres more pictures so you can get a better look.

well the only 'mistake' I've noticed so far the star and ring printed on my captain americas shield is noticeably off center and doesn't line up with the handle properly so the tip of the star never points fully up when its on the back of his bike. I actually really like caps bike but I'd also like to see one were the shield can be mounted on the front of the bike like in captain america the first avenger. also it might just be me but black widow's minifig makes her look about ten years older and the hair colour seems far duller than in the film.

assuming you still have the boxes and the receipts have you considered taking/sending the sets back to were you got them from and asking for a replacement? if they don't think the minifigs are a good enough reason to replace the sets you could try claiming you were missing some of the parts to the set. you might be able to get the set with wolverine minifig replaced if you show them his loose parts. but they'll probably try to claim the ironman minifig was damaged by you or someone in your house. thats about all I can think of.

need help building a batmobile tumbler steering system
lockdownTF posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've tried a few different times to build my own version of this but can never seem to make it work usually becuase of the wheels pulling inwards when it moves forward. does anyone have know site with instructions for building one? already searched mocpages and brickshelf and I've seen a few examples but can see enough of the steering assembly to recreate it myself. -
I've done a couple using my new marvel and dc minifigs: batman training nightwing(only got a custom nightwing for now) this one just seemed to go well with magneto and iron-man

technic jumping car with power functions
lockdownTF posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I wanted to see about building a motor powered car or similar vehicle with a special spring loaded leg or arm that would allow the car to make small jumps I've had a few looks on the net but can't seem to finding anything so I was wondering if anyone had a link to something to give me a few ideas -
power functions bike
lockdownTF posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
spent about 3 days building this in my spare time. its a bike with a motor driven back wheel steering and headlights/rear lights. [/img] heres a video of it in action you'll have to excuse the shoddy camera work but its tricky to drive and aim the camera at the same time if you can't see the video its probably cos I've only just uploaded it so you might need to wait a few hours before it'll play I tried to make it as compact as possible so I used the rechargeable battery box which was easier to build into the main body. I placed it upside down cos the underside is easy to reach and keeps it mostly out of view. eventually I had to fit a pair of stabilizers to stop it falling over which I don't like but their a necessary evil and luckily quite small. thats it hope you like it :) -
power functions bike

I've only got baloon wheels I'll have to invest in a couple of nice big flat wheels so my next bike won't need stabilizers -
Do you like power function in every set?
lockdownTF replied to mobi's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
build something technic is allot more interesting when your creation can actual do something without you needing physically push it yourself or work little levers and things for one thing I can actually tell if most of my designs will actually work or not in a really moving thing. I don't see much point in stuff like choppers but for cars tanks cranes robot arms or anything like that I think its brilliant. -

need help building a batmobile tumbler steering system
lockdownTF replied to lockdownTF's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
probably about the same size as the one DLuders probably a bit bigger cos I have lots large wheels. looks easy enough to recreate only thing I cant workout is what those grey pieces are right next to the wheels held in by light grey half pegs with sticks coming out either end. doesn't look like a pice I have anyway -
this was born out of boredom and madness. I decided to take the laser pieces off of UCE death star and stack them together then I took my luke minifig and eventually with the help of a minifig base I was able to get him stand with over 50 flurescent tubes stack on his saber handle!
-
the parts are the light green flurescent tubes that stack not really sure what their offical name is though. together to make the death stars main laser
-
heres a few new ones to add this one is was taken shortly after I got my awesome ultimate collectors death star. this one was made out of boredom and me trying to see howmany fluresent tubes I could stack on one minifigs saer handle without it toppling. you can't see the full height but I got really high!

motorized spinning top
lockdownTF replied to lockdownTF's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
thats similar to what I had in mind though I don't have any hailfire droid wheels at my disposable and I was thinking about using an IR reciever assuming the ir could recieve a proper signal while spinning non stop -
motorized spinning top
lockdownTF posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I've seen a few videos of people make spinning tops with motorized spinner handles but I want to know if it was at all feasible to build a spinning top with a motor contained inside it so the top could carry on spinning indefinitely. the major drawback is the battery to the motor would need to be inside the top making the hole thing pretty big I was also thinking about adding a an outer ring that could tilt to give it rudamentry control. this probably won't work and is mostly a crazy idea I thought up the other day I was just wondering if anyone if its remotely doeable -
