That was quick! Brilliant effort. I'm assuming those coaches are 'heavy' with the plastic axles?
-
Actually I thought it looked rather similar to the Locomotive (130 Est Serie 8s 130 B 348 Tender 20 A 30 made in 1862) that was part of the Orient Express Exhibit in Singapore..
-
At this point, I'm just happy they even bothered to do this Orient Express!

A famous leaker also said Dec 1st.

Now this looks much better! Now I gotta snag one of these crocodile sets..
-
This! I think this will look perfect.

Just realised the LEGO group went for the steam engine that was actually here in Singapore for an event called: Once Upon A Time on The Orient Express. Here are some photos I took of that steam engine loco: Though I think the designers could have done a better job.. looks a little squashed and a hogwarts express/lone ranger colour change with a bigger boiler.. The two coaches looks great though! Beautiful interiors.

Orient Express By Michal on Flickr After seeing this, how am I not going to be disappointed for the upcoming LEGO version of the Orient Express..
-
I wonder if they're having trouble making it work at 8-studs wide.. if they need help they can always come to us train AFOL builders haha
-
NOOOOOOOO Damn, was really looking forward to it.
-
Not going to lie.. I got excited when I saw someone replied to the thread.. hoping it was the first images or leaks.
-
I'm surprised we haven't seen any news update or leaks on the Orient Express. The only LEGO set I'm looking forward to this year haha.
-
Hoping to see/hear some good news soon!

I'm guessing he is happy with what LEGO did with his model? Which is a good thing I hope. :)

[MOC] A short presentation of my narrow gauge train-MOCs in scale 1:22.5 (99 1782-4, Mallet 11sm, Welsh Pony)

For a second I thought it was @Sven J but wow am I pleased to see another large scale LEGO Train modeller! Beautiful locomotives! Am also a fan of the intricate coupling rods especially on the Mallet 11sm. Do you have any freight or passenger wagons at this scale? -
I have a feeling they're going to have electronics in the coach to light it up.. given how detailed the interiors are.
-
Maybe it comes with LEGO's first smoke generator? Hence the price increase..

I'm just excited to have good looking LEGO Trains back on the shelves in store. Hoping LEGO do it justice!

[moc] BR A4 4-6-2 'Sir Nigel Gresley'

Shaped beautifully! Love how the wheel flanges are hiding behind those cleverly designed curved sides. -
Beautiful design mate! I'm such a fan of Japanese steam engines. They look real mighty especially in the snow! Also, they remind me of the steam engines that used to run from Singapore to Malaysia (MR 'O' 56 Class). They look rather similar. Also, I know that those Japanese Steam engines ran on 'almost a metre gauge' (1067mm) track.. which I think you can pass off as '4-wide' narrow gauge track under 8-wide scale trains. The reason I brought it up is because my MR O 56 Class (below) runs on metre gauge hence the reason I opted for the 4-wide narrow gauge tracks. With the many tracks and switches available from TrixBrix, you can easily have your steam loco powered and running whilst in contrast to a 5-wide track, you have to manually make all your tracks and switches which can be a pain. My MOC and actual loco below: Also,

EMD SD70Ace, a logical follow up for my old SD70 model

Beautifully shaped nose mate! The proof of concept looks great. How does it hold up? -
76423 might actually be Lego's strongest 6-wide steam train ever
LEGOTrainBuilderSG replied to LordsofMedieval's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Great set, especially for us! I like the mini (yet realistic looking) train station. It is also cool to see how part of the steam loco drive wheels are hiding under the plate like in most real steam locomotives. I wonder how they did that? -
Hey everyone, was hoping to see some your LEGO Train Diorama/ Layout. Can't seem to find much on YouTube and Flickr. Most of them are from train exhibitions. Would love to see some of your home diorama/layouts.

Very cool! I know there's this guy on YouTube that does technic trains and they look fantastic!

Haha to be honest, this is the only thread I check on Train Eurobricks. Hoping to see new leaked pictures of the train sets.
