  1. I've build this set few weeks ago, don't remember what was there, but I can confirm there are plenty of extra pieces left (same with other Cada models, often you get quite big parts as extra, even panels). Keep those extra parts though, with Fantasma I had pieces missing in later stages that were in the bags for earlier stages (I mean in later stages, I think 3 and 4, I was missing some pieces in the bags. But they were included in bags 1 and 2 but not used during those stages). This is due to error in instruction: in steps C35 and C53 part "Technic Beam 1 x 2 Thick with Pin Hole and Axle Hole" is added with axle hole being put on 2L axle. It should be rotated, 2L axle should go into pin hole of this part. Much later in construction axles will go into axle holes and when done properly this function will change the suspension height.
  2. It was discussed somewhere, maybe in different topic. There was a significant leap in quality after the Centenario, about the time when Claas Scorpion and Ferrari Pista were released. Still not Lego quality but it is pretty good.
  3. The price? 42113 RRP was 140€, 42145 will be 210€.
  4. This is not an issue, Lego could have know about it years before it was revealed and prepare the model in cooperation with Ferrari. And I guess the point is that it should show a car that is new? It was exactly like that with the Sian - the real car was revealed in September 2019, Lego model was in sale on June 2020.
  5. Looks alright for this scale, and I guess that it might be fun. For kids at least, for me it is an easy pass, as I don't like it and I do not like stickers and this set has so many. Do I see correctly that on the black 2x2 tile between taillights (sticker) and the cobra logo (also sticker) there is a black sticker? I guess to make it mat...

    Technic Clones

I bought some sets from Chinese manufacturers (mostly Cada) and there are some really good sets out there. As Grey Gear wrote there are some good and bad manufacturers, but also those good ones might release total crap. It is necessary to check reviews for each set, as chinese brands are not as consistent as Lego. Anyway this is not the topic for Eurobricks, if you seek information about alternate bricks I would suggest lepinboard or r/lepin subreddit.
  7. I think this happened already - in the beginning of the year I got C61016 (Porsche 919 hybrid) and C61041W (Lamborghini Centenario) and the clutch of most of bricks was too tight, some not enough, and the CaDa version of part 6536 (Technic Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular) was a total disaster. Recently I got C61051W (Claas Scorpion) and C61042W (Pista) and the quality of parts is much better. Clutch is not that tight anymore (easier to build), I encountered in total 2 axles that were too loose (but without consequence to the build) and a few (8 or so) friction pins that acted more like frictionless (but there was a lot of spares to replace them if needed).
  8. Well, by "old" I meant like 2015 and later, judging by responses it still "recent" on this forum ;-) And those that I got I managed to get still in sealed bags.
  9. I got back to Lego a year ago and bought quite a lot of sets in the meantime, mostly Technic (also older ones, not produced anymore). After someone pointed this out I had a look on some of the older ones, and I must confirm that the color issue is not a new problem - quite a lot of sets over the years had some issues with color consistency, but if you do not look closely you might not notice. I will not give any examples as you cannot unsee those differences :D But Fiat 500 has pretty obvious issues, and Sian is awful in this regard - I knew about the issues in Sian but I was still disappointed about how bad the problem is. I actually saw pictures of Sian that seemed to have very good color consistency - but it was not produced by Lego... It is a sad time when chinese knock-offs offer better quality than "premium" company claiming that "only the best is good enough".
  10. Yes, it works perfectly now.
  11. I bought new Arocs in October last year and had similar problems - most functions worked (albeit quite slow) but it couldn't lift the crane at all. Faulty pump was the problem, Lego sent me a new one and it was the newer version.
  12. It could be an opportunity to use the "dumb" technic hub that should be much cheaper, and maybe introduce the PU Medium motors to technic? Osprey was supposed to be 140 EUR set with PU and 1636 parts. Agree, I also prefer this approach :)
  13. I would love that as well but I'm also scared to see the price LEGO would put for Powered Up + pneumatics... And here is the link to the catalogue (Technic pages): https://catalogs.lego.com/BrandCatalog/1HY2021/bc-1HY-2021-nz/?page=82 Weird that Liebherr is not in?
  14. I took a few parts from my Chiron to check the same place - it seems that the part of construction where the pin is is offset one stud to the back in relation to the blue beam that it is supposed to connect to. But taking into account complexity of this model it is almost impossible to find the problem remotely. I guess that comparing the build with the instruction is your only option to find the error :( Not sure if this is any help but here is the picture from my model:
