  1. ok amg is part of the mercedes group
  2. the photo at the top of the thread is the "old" g500 which was released in 2016 Mercedes did a new one end of 2022, but called g63, which would more sense to me : https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/mercedes/g-class/359332/new-mercedes-amg-g-63-4x42-2023-review
  3. The 3 models you mentioned just don't feel special enough to me When you compare a 750S to the Bugatti, the Lambo or the Ferrari it feels like a step back. If this potential new hypercar is released in April/May, there is a possibility it could be the Lego model too. Otherwise the Solus GT, Speedtail or even Sabre could be potential options I think.
  4. Yes, it is the 787B Low rear wing, high mirrors, they aren't many cars that look like that ;)
  5. For anyone in the UK looking for a good deal, it's a £156 at Smyth and there is £12 off until saturday making it £144 instead of £200 rrp
  6. We'll see The Ford you showed is a track only version of the current GT, quite similar. Compared to the 488 GTE and the daytona sp3 which are completely different models And a ford doesn't feel special enough for a flagship model like that. A new choice could be Mclaren Koenigsseg and Pagani had some lego models, but i don't know if they would be popular enough for a flagship model (but people willing to spend this amount of money have a certain interest for cars)
  7. The Ford Gt has been on the market for too long. Ferrari sp3 unveiled in November 2021, Lego model available mid 2022 Lambo Sian unveiled in Spetember 2019, Lego model available mid 2020.
  8. The car is now listed on Cada's website : https://cadablock.com/shop/cada-c61503-mercedes-benz-amg-one-technician/
  9. So why did they pick the Porsche 963 for the Speed Champions ? Clearly, the goal for Lego was to have the set ready for the 100th anniversary of Le Mans. They can't develop a set in 6 months, so when they decided to develop the set, they didn't have many options, Toyota or Peugeot. The developement of the Porsche or Ferrari was probably not far enough to be able to work with the technic. And they already had the 911 RSR and 488 on that market segment, so probably wanted to vary from them 2 brands.
  10. The GT is 1:12 The raptor is 1:12.5 or 1:13 So the scale is really similar and one next to the other, the scale difference is nothing.
  11. On a set that we can find for £30-35, I think most people will get one of each.
  12. Did someone tried to create a trailer for the Ford Raptor, that would fit the Ford GT ? That would be a cool way to display it I think.
  13. The Peugeot 9x8 is due to be released in less in a month, and the car is grey. I'm wondering if we'll then be able to have the fenders in grey, on top of the black and red already offered.
  14. Thanks a lot guys for the instructions ! Instructions purchased, now I just the parts (and decide which colour I want to go for).
  15. If you are good with DIY, I saw this video. I think they look really good. homemade cases

  17. Hopefully a rear diff too. If it is based on the latest track only GT, it is a fixed wing. The standard GT has a retractable wing. But I'll be surprised if we have a retractable wing given the retail price.
  18. The Ford gt is going to be around 120€ I think it will be more in line with the Ford Raptor in terms of fonctionnalities/scale (which is being retired) The RSR and 488 are 200€, like the new Peugeot 9X8.
  19. not bad, but the ducktail looks too big. I think the toilet roll paper they introduced this year would look better (or its wider version)
  20. From the lego website : "Please note, unlike the original edition of this book, this version has a glossy hard cover. It is not a limited edition and does not come with a slipcover case" so yes ;)
  21. It is probably that one (article in French sorry) : https://sportauto.autojournal.fr/peugeot/peugeot-9x8-2022-un-passionne-construit-lhypercar-en-lego-images-372965.html#item=5 It's really good, but not technic unfortunately (it would be good in the creator's range though)
  22. For those based in the UK, Argos has a great deal on this car. £262.50, and 10% with the code LEGO10 so £236.25
  23. A few more news from promobricks today. https://www.promobricks.de/lego-technic-2023-neuheiten-vorschau/148305/ 42156 is apparently the Peugeot 9x8 Le Mans hypercar
  24. I finished to build mine yesterday, but didn't have issues during the build. Did you use the online manual or paper manual ? (online for me, that has some corrections compared to the paper manual)
