I totally agree, as a standalone set it's not the best but if it's modular and connection-able, it's an amazing set. Great for my small scale city. (Already own a few ships so i don't really need a huge ship) The Brick built design is very good and slick. I'm really curious about the beach thing as I can't easily see what's in the beach. Also the fact there's actually "building" and not just a lot of huge plates is marvellous. Nothing a few road plates can't fix.

I think they went for a more "pier-y" approach. Not the best in my opinion, it's nice but not top material, I do prefer to have a smaller ship and they nailed the crane design. 50-50 in my opinion. Car Transporter looks nice, but i expected something different for the price. Loved the classic car reminded me of old Cuban cars. The Roller Coaster really surprised me, it's a compact design that combines lots of things into a, single building, really nice looking. The only thing I dislike is the shape of the harbor, really wanted the thing to be a straight line. Hope we get more harbour related sets in the future.

Bet if it was bigger there wouldn't much of a building for the harbour

Sorry! Late to the party! Just seen the new laboratory, got to say it's a pretty neat set, a 560 piece set for 35€ Like the idea of connecting the lab to the main base. Even while separated from the other set or in a city layout, it still looks good! Wallet ready

More clarification on the color scheme of the sets: -it's olive green, orange and dark blue -60424 and 60426 will include Johnny Thunder, he will be different than the cmf version, more like the classic. New tiger mold for the 60426 set

The beloved 90s icon from Lego Adventurers is set to be included in the new jungle exploration sets, which are set to include many vehicles in a olive green color pattern. Johnny will appear in the Quad Set and Seaplane Set too

Unless there's a shop included, sometimes due to translation issues, the sets aren't what they seem, like this year's fire plane(when leaked the name translated to Firefighter) I guess the Car Transporter could have a garage building included, and the yellow truck could be a updated version of the 2010 lego truck with 2015 lego store

As of right now, i have no info about the space subtheme. There might be more sets as some numbers are missing on the list. Hope we get a airport soon, makes no sense releasing a passenger plane without a new airport to come alongside.

    Lego City 2024

Right now more information about the new wave has been leaked, as brick clicker has posted a video about summer 2024. Besides these sets we're having a new harbor after 13 YEARS and a roller coaster set. More sets include a robot themed roller coaster. Currently there are 4 jungle sets planned, 3 vehicle sets and single building/base. More could come

Just saw all of the images My opinion: -Fire Dept: Like the colours of the new lineup, the headquarters looks so much different than the previous stations; 2 Garages but one Truck included doesn't matter to me, the garage doors look nice :) really like the plane and boat transporter, the rest I don't like. -Police:Really surprised me. Looks like it's turned into a more action subtheme, nice colours, Prison Island seems ok (hope the real thing is better when i get my hands on the set), love the Lab Truck, Chase Set has nice colours. NEW HIDEOUT :D (a bit small sadly :/ ) -Space-Weirdest Wave I've see so far. The big sets look the nicest, the way they design these to not be so realistic is nice for a change, great details and new parts. -Great Vehicles-Love the fact the burger truck can remove the back compartment so it can turn into a stall. Car Transporter looks so good. Karts set seems cute. Best Monster Truck great vehicle finally released, rest is ok.

2021 was a great year for city personally, as they finally focused more on the theme's values and made more realistic police, instead of weird nature variations of police. They also developed brand new subthemes and started creating more variety of animals. The road plates were also a nice addition, but to me I still prefer 2022 I forgot to mention about the fact of having a new police station every year and start making the most expensive sets as different buildings, too bad the hideout never made it.

For me the best lineup in these recent years would be 2022.

It's like that but with a different position. The circle can connect to the modules, if you know the space station from the 2019 wave, the modules share similar looks and connect the same way. There's a small satellite you can attach to the core structure, I can't say much more because the image had a watermark covering a few parts of the set. If I remember correctly, one thing I forgot to mention about the 60413 set is this time, this is a normal plane and not water plane/pontoon plane. It includes a system that allows the plane to drop several clear-blue cylinders from the back of the plane to represent water. I do think that the images don't show the full thing because the space set seemed too small to cost 100€. Hopefully we just have to wait a month to see the official images.
