i agree with both points here. the wedge pieces do make sets easier and less fun to build but the a-wing was always a very sleek ship with smooth lines. i love what we have seen for 2006 and even if there are alot of redesigns i think most will admit that they are great sets in their own right.

wow! this looks like it is going to be a great set! i hope we will have a new poll about the new sets tomorrow as then we will see if people have changed their minds on the new sets for 2006.

i use to sell on bricklink and i was always looking for stuff to sell in toy shops and on ebay. sometimes things would be badly discirbed on ebay and would be in wrong catagorys and you could get things at a cheap price. i was never a big seller and only sold star wars as this was my main interest in lego. some times the big sellers would buy from me if they thought they could make a bit more on top selling it on again. as for your question on bulk buying it all depends on how much you are willing to put into your buisness at the start. i once brought 8 at-at's in a sale and sold all of them except 1 for a good profit less than a week later. but had i held on to them till the sets were discontiued i would have mad a real killing. if you can sit on stock for a while you can make the best money. some of the big sellers must have a full business account with lego as then they can by at a discount right from the start.

what about a spy theme. james bond style loads of cool car's and gagets and a super villan hell bent on taking over the world!

i not to sure how she would fit into a good set but we really should have another padme by now. what about a jedi captured set based on the bridge of general grievous's ship some nice computer console's and loads of great minifigs obi, ani, battle droids, super battle droids, magna guards and grievous. that could be the ultimate droid pack!

i voted for cruise. i like depp he nearly always turns out a good performance. but i think criuse has done some great film's "the firm, interview with a vampire, rain man, top gun, a few good men, the colour of money, born on the forth of july and even jerry maguire. the list of great films this guy has done is endless, but i have to say that he has had the honour of working with some of the best actors in the buisness.

if your prices are right jon, that would be a fantastic line up at a great set of prices!

well this was a real hard one to answer. i love the new x-wing and the new falcon does look great (even if it is not very sturdy) but in the end it had to be the b-wing (even if we only have 1 pic) this set just looks so much better than the original. as for the snowspeeder, are you kidding! the original was a far better set. i managed to get 6 of the original speeder's and most of them were after the new one came out and the ebay price crashed :-D

i voted for the tie because we have waited so long for it and i got all the others first time round(except v-wing). i think slave one will be great with all the minifigs but will it just be a different colour jango slave? we will have to wait and see(not to long i hope).

bloody hell! :-D i am having enough trouble getting the spare cash for this years set and now they bring out a load more great sets!
