They are extremely slow in the Netherlands, ordered the castle the 3rd, still prepping the order in warehouse :(- 2929 replies

In the Netherlands it will not be included in the shoppingcart, anyone else has the same issue? Never mind, saw the earlier replies. No luck though, will probably await august (hopefully)

Former Total Noob (now just noob) starts Castle Project

Love to see the updates, keep up the great work -
Damn, that is even worse.... I guess it will have to do with earnings indeed, the minimum (average) wage is a bit higher in the Netherlands I believe, as well as the VAT. Strange that this never has been an issue, all prices were exactly the same (for example barracuda bay 199,99), but since this year (January sets) there are price differences. I agree the set looks good for 120 - 130, not sure if I'm getting it for 170. Maybe will have to look for a german willing to ship and buy multiples from germany.
-
Pricing has always been the same in the whole of Europe I believe, however, since the new sets of January, you do see a price difference, x-wing for example is 5 euro's more expensive.
-
Love the Blacksmith! However, kind of upset about the pricing strategy of Lego. The set will cost 169,99 euro's in the Netherlands and 149,99 in Germany, what's that about....

Sorry, was not familiar with this rule, removed the picture.

It was a suggestion, I did read somewhere. On the #legoleaks instagram page, there is in fact a picture of the new logo, let's hope it is true! "Picture removed"

The Chima theme, unfortunately, could be a option....

haha yeah it is an effort, but do want want to clean them thoroughly after 25 years before they can join the collection. Just started with my bricks and minifigs from 80/90's castle and pirates. Not sure yet what i'm gonna do with the old city and trains collection, that might be too big of an effort.

Just coming out of the dark ages, I decided to rescue my old lego sets and picked them up at my fathers house. Started cleaning them brick by brick and they do look lovely again (do use the hydrogen peroxide method on white and grey bricks as well). The bricks do tend to feel a little sticky after cleaning them with some dish soap, is that something you would recognize? I clean them with a toothbrush in soapy warm water, move them into clear water and then rinse them off before put them down to air dry.
