  1. Recognized this as your model instantly. I remember first seeing the K100 and just being enamored with the detailed design, functionality and presentation. And the Mack is no different. I don't generally care for trucks that much, but yours just hit the sweet spot for me. Might be a pinch or two of Model Team nostalgia there. I'll join others in applauding especially the use of minifigure collars on the lights. The trailer hoses are always a nice touch and I really appreciate the work put in all the accessories such as the shipping container. Lovely work all around - seeing these always brightens my day.
  2. This (seems to be a plate officially ): https://rebrickable.com/parts/2654/plate-round-2-x-2-with-rounded-bottom-boat-stud/47/.
  3. Good use of colours, definitely has a lot of character.
  4. Very nice and cohesive design (not a huge fan of lime green myself, but it works well). Lego could just slap it in a box and put it on the shelf right next to the Ducati.
  5. The tubular frame really makes it, excellent details all around. Maybe a studless dish for the headlight?
  6. Ahhh, sorry. Those tires would be perfect, thanks! The look of the rims is optimal, but maybe they could work out.
  7. Thanks for checking! Damn, but the Tumbler wheels are too wide. I found the blueprints with dimensions for the Scania tractor. If i'd be willing to cheat with the car vs. truck scale a bit, the cab width would be 18 studs (2500mm IRL) using Arocs tires. Maybe add to the unrealism and stretch it to 19 studs, which would just fit a 15 studs wide car in the trailer. Or just make a pickup-truck with a simple trailer for a less grandiose setup
  8. Thanks! I was thinking something like this:
  9. Hey guys! I'm planning of building an European truck with a closed race car trailer for a TC18/42093 scale car. I'm pretty clueless on trucks, but it seems to me like the 42098's scale is a bit too small. Would 62.4mm tires be more appropriate?
  10. Awesome model and performance, love those drifts too! The use of the RC buggy steering unit is inspired, never even occured to me it could be used with a servo even though I own one. Seconded!
  11. Love it! Small scale, detailed but clean design and detachable bodywork ticks all the boxes for me. Thank you for the instructions, I think this might bring me out of my recent Lego slump.
  12. Egads! Fortunately the Technic minifig is too small to operate the machine, he looks like he's up to something
  13. I... Oh dear . Thank you and sorry for that. I just stared at the inventory like an idiot and somehow missed the obvious, including the extended stem on the pics. Thought the metallic silver would be more shiny though
  14. @rm8 Is it possible to use the wheel mold variation with the extended axle stem (https://rebrickable.com/parts/32020/wheel-432mm-d-x-18mm-with-extended-axle-stem/) on the model? I have my eye on the metallic silver wheels from the 8285. Cheers!
