  1. Hello,

Below are two videos on running four trains on one track using the 4DBrix hard/software. Here is a video shot from the ceiling, showing all four trains at the same time:

Here is a 360 degree panoramic video from a camera mounted on a train. You can see all the four trans and the few sets I put up:

  2. I bought several items from 4DBrix and I was pretty happy, in particular with their option to control everything through a computer. I now wanted to purchase additional licenses to control more trains through Bluetooth all at once but their online shop is closed. I reached out to Tom without any response. Their software was great and I was in the middle of a big new project. Now it seems like I have to abandon my project and maybe even this whole produce line. I literally asked Tom to please take my money. If only for the their great software, it should continue.

  3. Hardcover and softcover books are available, for example through Amazon.

Pantone colours are listed for those where I could measure the actual color. Transparent or speckled colors are difficult to represent in Pantone.

  4. Hello,

The third edition of The Unofficial LEGO Color Guide is now available. It includes two new colors and many design improvements. I am finally pretty much satisfied with the book.

Please notice that the printing process remains a challenge since CMYK printing is not able to accurately reproduce some LEGO colors, in particular light greens. If you want the maximum color accuracy then you need to purchase the PDF version. Your computer screen is much better at showing colors than pigment based printing.

  5. Hello,

I am trying to build a gearbox in LDD using the 18947 gear shifter ring and 26287 cross axle extension 3m. I am too stupid to be able to align the ring on top of the extension. LDD does not automatically snap and I don't know what kind of support structure I could build to align the shifter ring otherwise. The 32187 middle ring is much easier to align since it fits onto a normal axle. I am probably doing something stupidly wrong. Do you have a solution for this problem other than using another software?

    Thank you in advance,

    /c

  6. Yes, the train has to go to full speed to gather enough speed to go up the hill. It is a sensitive balance between weight and power of the train. If it is too light then the wheels will start slipping. If it is too heavy then the train will just come to a stop with the wheels stalled. It requires power and weight to get the train up.
