LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

Haha, good one! Thanx. Actually I only molested the stormtrooper helmet... the rebel helmet was only repainted but intact. Looking forward to the real deal!

I once made an ARC pilot helmet myself, by merging a rebel pilot helmet with a stormtrooper helmet. Think I was pretty close to what Lego did. sorry for the mediocre photography... DR

LEGO Star Wars 2010 Pictures and Rumors

So cool that the Hoth Rebels have the helmets from the visual dictionary! I was definately hoping for it, but somehow didn't expect it. The orange visors printed on the faces is a great solution I think, I'm doing the same with orange marker myself... I even created my own Republic pilot helmet from a rebel pilot helmet (top), combined with a stormtrooper helmet (bottem).... should 've been more patient ;-) Both battle packs and ARC are on my list!

Sweet Pedro! Excellent MOC, those small vehicles are not easy to make in Lego and adding some detail is pretty hard. You did well!

The three SW sets you'd like TLG to release

    1. Imperial shuttle (UCS MF scale) a big, detailed version with our rebel heroes. 2. AT-AT (UCS MF scale) a big, detailed version with some snowtroopers, AT-At driver and officer. 3. X-wing (improved version) last version was pretty good, but the most popular SW fighter needs a 'perfect' rendition with custom canopy for example. If a Lego rep reads this, please don't release 'm all 3 in one year Nice topic Klaus-Dieter! best regards DR

    Review: LSW: The Visual Dictionary

Thanks for the review, great pix of the concept stages of the designs. Man it's a shame they never released the Hoth rebel helmets like this. Let's hope the next years we will see the new helmet molds and a X-wing like the Yavin base concept. Thanx again

Oh a lot of people did vote for my MOC! (I recommend you to read the previous pages) I didn't say they voted for me as a winner... and for the speech: I hope you know the expression: 'sense of humour'.

Wow I can't believe I won! As a winner I guess I'm supposed to thank some people: first of al thanks to KimT for organising the raffle and of course thanks to al EB members that voted for me! I hope I inspire the kids to use their creativity and imagination while building Lego. May the force be with you! DutchRebel

Okay guys, I'd like to throw in a thought considering the Slave I discussion: I'm not the kind of guy who reads everything about Star wars, so I don't know nothing about EU or CW. But I read on wookiepedia that Boba Fett wears his fathers armour during the Clone Wars. So it could be that we get Boba's Slave I but that he looks like Jango... are you still following me? There 's also a Mandalorian featuring the new Clone Wars trailer. He kinda looks like Jango but with the cool Mandalorian logo on his helmet... Could this be Boba Fett Clone wars style?? Maybe some 'real' Star Wars professors can shine their light on this issue... DR

    [MOC] AT-RT

Good evening my dear Lego friends! I would like to share my latest MOC with you. I tried to make a better AT-RT than the official Lego version. It's a bit out of scale perhaps, but my creations always tend to be a bit bigger so I can add some more detail. Hope you like it. And feel free to leave a comment! More on my FlickR account: http://www.flickr.com/photos/40960204@N03/...57621894144396/ Best regards DR

LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours

Mmmm sounds like a pretty interesting list: 8093 - Plo Koon's Jedi Starfighter: although I'm pretty happy with my MOC version (thanks JimButcher) I could use Plo's astromech for the finishing touch. 8089 - Wampa Attack: I hope for a nice small old-school set, wonder how a Wampa looks like in Lego rendition.. 8095 - General Grievous' Starfighter: Nice starfighter, but we had a decent version a couple of years back, all I can hope for is an improved Grievous fig 8096 - Palpatine's Shuttle: excellent choice, my guess is this won't be the Lambda class version, but the Theta one. 8097 - Slave I: I could use one, it's not my favourite ship, but I would definately buy one if it is Jango's! 8098 - Clone Turbo Tank: If it is a bit sturdier and has better wheels I might buy one. Which one of these could be Clone Wars? I'm not really watching the series, so I don't know if one of these sets could origin from the animated series. I'm a little suspicious about the list because all of these ships sound familiar to me (as a non-CW watcher). I expected more CW inspired sets, but LEGO makes me much happier with PT and OT sets, so if these rumours are true....

Guns are made out of screwdrivers put in binoculars connected with a minifig hand into the slope. Steerpart is a cut piece of flexible tube. DR Hey skipper, why would I turn them around? The engines are supposed to 'slope' this way, see image. Thanks for your thumbs up!

    [MOC] AT-RT

The legs are pretty on-scale with the body IMHO, they are perhaps bend too much (may make it look like they are too short), but that's to make the model stand on itself. DR
