    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

I realised this the other day. The only 2023 sets I’m particularly interested in are The Second Task, Room of Requirement, and Battle of Hogwarts. Hopefully that’s enough to get the Gringotts vault GWP! Unless they make it exclusive with Gringotts, that is… I’m obviously interested in that too, but won’t get it for some time. Microscale Hogwarts MAY be a buy, I’ll see. Buildable Patronus I can take it or leave it. Hogwarts Express I might get if the stations good and sell the train bags. Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes will be superseded by plans to get Diagon Alley at some point, but may Bricklink any good figures. Others, I’m really not bothered about. Oh well, more to spend on past big sets I’m yet to get! And also some good upcoming Icons/Ideas set. And I’m sure there’ll be many Indiana Jones sets to collect, right…?

    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Like... Luna Lovegood who was "also there" in the 2nd film, in the sense she happened to be in the school at the time as you stated? I don't see how Narcissa makes any less sense than her.

Big deal, she was still there, she was in the courtyard.

And Luna Lovegood wasn't even in the series until the 5th film/book, yet appears in the Chamber of Secrets set...

    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Can't wait for them to finally release The Leaky Cauldron, Eyelops, Madam Malkin's and any other shops that we all wanted in 2020... as playsets that don't fit with the existing Diagon Alley at all

    Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

This sounds like you’re projecting. Not sure I’ve seen anyone being “angry”. People are also allowed to be disappointed that a product they were looking forward to isn’t being released. If everyone had the “you should just be happy with what they’ve got” attitude, then nothing would change, ever.

    Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Troll in the Bathroom, Chamber of the Winged Keys, Triwizard Maze and something from the Deathly Hallows forest are the main ones for me I'd like them to do.

    Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

FWIW, I’m sure instructions will be put on Rebrickable in no time, and we do have the old minifigs (minus the Maharajah). I mean, if it was never released by Lego, I can’t blame people if they bought a knock off!

    Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Brickset have as well. In fact, they state that Fan Media have been explicitly given permission to share it. I’d argue the opposite - if the set is never set to release, then there’s no reason for Lego to want it hidden

They never said that. You’re welcome to read into it but don’t state it as if it’s fact.

If it’s Lucasfilm’s fault, maybe they can release the same set with Johnny Thunder characters instead 😂

77014 The Temple of Doom: cancelled Official statement: Throughout 2022, the LEGO Group worked closely with Lucasfilm to optimise our planned product line up for the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones product launches in April 2023. As an outcome of this, we consolidated the launch to focus on three products (77012, 77013, 77015) that feature some of the most iconic scenes from the Indiana Jones franchise. From Brickset. Also why is my writing in invisible ink

    Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

If after all this, the Temple of Doom turns out to exist, this would be the most hilarious rollercoaster ride I’ve ever been on It also says a June release for all the sets… 😬

    Indiana Jones 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

If they’re gonna be like this with prices, I can’t say I’m bothered about the Temple of Doom being cancelled, because I wouldn’t be buying it anyway! 😂 I know Lego makes some bizarre decisions, but surely even they must see making one of the other sets insanely overpriced is a bad financial decision compared to eating the cost themselves? Collectors ain’t gonna collect if the first wave of sets is already overpriced… at least with Harry Potter’s gradually increasing prices, they’ve already got us hooked!
