Pirates Mafia II - Day Two

Unless the kill was a vig or other killer as you yourself suggested. As I said, it's in the day opening. I think Ethan was referring to that.

Ok, now I feel really patronized. It didn't offend me, it pinged me. it sounds forced - much the same way that exaggeratedly lamenting dead townies in the morning sounds forced. Me and about five others. Why single me out? I didn't see any soft claim; if you did, is it wise to broadcast it? You did kinda freak out. Not the first, in this game. Thinking through this, if the bus driver is town, which they usually are, they would have to have assumed you were likely targeted, and they wanted that to redirect to Ansel. That makes sense if they thought Ansel was likely scum, and had a strong town read on you? I can't say I had a particularly strong town read on you day 1, but then I didn't have a strong town read on anyone. I would have thought that a scum bus driver would switch roles between a scum mate and a strong townie, in case they were targeted by a vig or investigator (assuming the bus driver redirects all actions). As I understand the role, it works both ways, meaning it is possible the redirect was intended to move the target from Ansel to Ethan, which might make sense if the bus driver thought Ansel a likely vig target and wanted to redirect to Ethan. If so this would be more likely a scum move, though unlikely imho. Another possibility is that Ethan is scum and this is all baloney, but they why tell us at all? Ethan hasn't come across particularly scummy to me (aside from the "I'm a noob" act). I didn't see that. Where did Ethan say that? There was the line in the opening scrawl, "I didn't expect to see you here." Is that what you meant?

Oooooooh..... Robert, my sincere apologies. I totally misread your post.

I'm sorry, what???? This has to be the most bizarre and protracted OMGUS in the history of scum. I called you out yesterday for something that I thought was scummy and was the most scummy thing I had seen at that time. I also called Reginald out, but I chose to vote for you as I thought of the two you were the more likely scum. I admitted it was tenuous, but you have to put your vote somewhere unless you're Liam and are happy to watch the scum tear the town apart. As I repeatedly said, it was nothing to do with the context of what you were saying, but the fact that you said (paraphrased) 'scum would never do this thing that Im doing.' I admitted it was tenuous, and would probably have dropped it were it not for your bizarre overreaction. As for 'quite silent towards me', I have said but one thing today and had only a few minutes to do it. I have only a few minutes now, and have to waste arguing with you - you claim that I am being distracting. WIND YOUR NECK IN. And with that said, if you are so suspicious of me, WHY HAVEN'T YOU VOTED FOR ME you turd. Go on, you can do it. I'm vanilla town, it will be no great loss. Or are you scared that the focus will turn on you tomorrow? Fuck you, Sorry. I'm tired, I'm stressed, I'm angry.

Ansel is an odd choice for a scum kill. He did vote for Liam early on, and was pretty insistent about it, but if Liam is scum it would be a very lame reason to kill him, and if he isn't, it would be a bit of a stretch for scum to kill Ansel to try to imply that. As Ethan says he was perhaps more likely a vig kill, but even this is odd. He didn't strike me as particularly scummy, though he seemed to pinge Ethan, or blipe him, or whatever. He wasn't a typical quiet fly-under-the-rader big target. Still, it might be useful to think about why there might not have been a scum kill - were they blocked, target protected etc. Seriously, this is not helpful. PINGE. If you are town, you wouldn't have known they were innocent. Even in the absence of evidence, there was perhaps a two or three in 16 chance that we were lynching scum. This sounds forced.

We can pass the time by having a singe-songe. Or playing pinge-ponge.

Pirates Mafia II - Day One

I thought it was syphillis? I've been trying to get the officers to keep their hands off their Privates. Agreed. Sorry, it's pinges now. I've already expressed suspicion of Reginald. I can get behind this. invite: Robert Walsh Vote: Reginald Aston *unvote

You may recall that I was the first person to point out that that lumberstump Reginald was being defensive, which you picked up on, and caused you to vote for him. I agree he is suspicious. So are you. So is everybody else. The context of that particular point was irrelevant, and in my opinion, the reasons were lame. My reasons for voting for you are lame, but less lame than the reasons you gave for voting for Morgan. It's all lame, it's day one. Your reasons for voting for Reginald are less lame. I said I doubt you're both scum, not that you're not both being scummy. I would probably be more inclined to with votes, if you weren't so freaked out by having two or three votes on you.

Pirates Mafia II - Day One

Grumblefudgets. What pinged me was that you voted based on a suspicion, having just said that scum would voice suspicion rather than vote, the context is irrelevant. Morgan's remark looked to be to be as much in jest as Ethan's vote was, and so I read your vote as 'I'm starting a bandwagon for lame reasons, which scum would never do' Does it mean you're scum? Maybe, maybe not. It was the strongest suspicion I had at the time, then your 'intending to imply' thing pinged me again. Reginald is competing hard for the top suspicion at the moment. I also don't like people popping up just to add a vote to a lame wagon then dipping below the parapet, like Zachary Mercier.

Alack, alack, alack. This sounds a little manipulative, no? Now listen up, you nabbity-jibbers. If we lynch today we have a one in 16 chance of catching a scum, and we have votes to look at. If we don't lynch, we have zero chance of catching scum, the day is wasted, and scum effectively get a night zero. Not lynching helps the scum - they can relax in the daytime and pick and choose who to kill at night. Thank you for examining my other suspicion. I don't like that defensiveness before the fact, or your OMGUS vote here. I doubt you are both scum; on balance I still think Robert Walsh is the scummier. And here you are being defensive again. I don't think anyone had accused you of anything at the start.

Pirates Mafia II - Day One

You're against lynching but for voting. What does voting achieve if there's no threat of Lynch? It doesn't achieve anything. Lynching is town's main weapon. 'A scum would never do what I'm doing, so I can't be scum'. This pings me. Vote: Robert Walsh You're being kinda defensive. Why? Don't speak to me like that, you ... you sponge monkey. This is what, the second time you've said anything? What about the others who haven't spoken, William Mitchell, Louis Townsend, Zachary Mercier? Did you just work down from the top of the list? It's an easy scum move, voting for those who haven't spoken yet. What difference does it make if it's in a tally or not? You better try harder to unvote then.
