    Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion

For popular, I'm not saying the same thing as well-known. Joker is well-known, but not popular among kids. Popular is the most well-known and wanted (in the case of merchandise) thing by the plurality or majority of people). When kids do talk about superheroes, it's about the Disney+ stuff for Marvel, and the new Batman and Synder Cut movies for DC. Specifically about Robert Patterson being Batman for females. Yes, Joker was popular among kids in 2008 who were superhero fans when Dark Knight came out; but those kids grew up and are not the kids I'm talking about. I'm referring to talking young elementary school-age people right now. Who are 6-11, Lego's primary age range. Born from 2010-2015. People who were too young to watch Dark Knight or the R-rated Joker movie. Not AFOLs. Lego's main target is the new generation of kids with less familiarity with Dark Knight and Joker because most weren't old enough to watch PG-13 movies and were too obsessed with "secret agents" and "spies". (In my case, after watching Cars 2.) Who when Force Awakens came out, they were about Star Wars. And when Infinity War came out, Marvel caught their attention. Who got to watch Joker when Dark Knight came out on Netflix or got to watch Batman in the Lego movies or from the DCEU. Joker is well-known among these kids but not the most popular. Opinion stuff: I think Lego should focus on Disney+ things for marvel. For DC, whatever is selling the best. From the way Lego keeps on making Batman stuff, this would be Batman and Joker stuff and any of their TV shows or movies. The news about Batman movie sets is an excellent decision by Lego. That's 87 pages that I probably haven't read.

I mean personally. The people I was talking about are people who I know physically. No, I'm asking for the source about Joker being popular among kids.

I've been caught! I haven't actually watched the video, only just looked at the thumbnail and comments and summed up a summary. Source? Most of the nerds I know are star wars fans. The rest are into video games. I'm one of the few MCU fans. Don't know any DC fans.

PotterMinifigPals also got the first copy of some Star Wars sets or something (501st battle pack, just remembered) because she's in Australia or the UK or something. I'm just jealous because I want the Shang Chi sets.

Unpopular opinion, I don't like Fantastic 4 because they would take up better Minifigure spaces (Plus I haven't got any exposure to it). But that's not going to be a problem because so far the CMF is just MCU stuff. Disappointed. The "Hulkbuster" scale stuff is just getting way too big. Iron Monger does not need 400 pieces. A side build of an arc reactor would've been really cool. For the Shang Chi stuff. I'm disappointed about that lack of leg printing. I'm fine if they re-use the faces, as long as they are semi-accurate and not the atrocity Lego Happy Hogan was. I'm fine with there only being 5 rings, the series doesn't need to have a collectible collect them-all thing with expensive pieces. Happy about the Infinity Saga stuff in general. Now it's time to sell sets so I can buy everything. I'm especially happy because I don't have a good War Machine, Scarlet Witch, or Hawkeye Minifigure yet.

This is referring to the Mark 85 from the Avengers Compound set I think the Mark 85 is a great figure. Especially because it's exclusive to a set that I bought and is a good future sell for me

I got the Hell Charger set and it's amazing. The flames and the Minifigures and cost is amazing. Very glad Lego made it.

I'm Asian, and I don't take offense either way. Except if they made it yellow.

no, No, NO! I'm sorry but if they don't include Quill's helmet piece I'm going to be extremely mad. The Benatar didn't have Quill's helmet piece so this expensive one better. Am I the only one who liked the gray fur? It never seemed off to me. But I am happy that all you people are happy. Not a fan of the gray suit. I would've preferred an accurate color to red hair. It's crazy how Lego molded it in gray when it's clearly blue. I am just trying to find a Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack set for under $60. It retired before I budgeted out my money and it has two exclusive figures that I need. It's the last Infinity War set that I didn't get and it's so expensive on BrickLink.

Yes I do, I read it all! AhhhahaAAHAHHA! Yes, that does make sense. The 5 rings are just attached by the DC CMF stands attached to each other. Unfortunately, it's not a new piece.

Not related to marvel, just tips for new members. Wanda Minifigure is not confirmed or anything, this is a person who was reliable in the past, so we are assuming it will come eventually. Don't know when or where. It's interesting to see how conversations go on this thread. One minute people are talking about Wandavision, the next about Lego box sizes. Cool, but sadly more people buy MCU sets. But comic fans get the Daily Bugle so if it's purchased enough Lego will listen!

I’m so happy about all of these awesome sets. I’m purchasing two of each MCU related things. Thank you Lego. Sets have a two to three year developmental cycle so LEGO was listening to us two years ago when we were talking about this. So when into the spider verse came out, Lego started developing the Spider-Man lair and miles morales and Gwen Stacy and all the other spider people. And then they listened to the Endgame complaints and critiques and gave us Luis‘s van and bald thanks. I’m so so happy.

Huh, I thought I read on this forum that it would probably be First Avenger based. Maybe another motorcycle and a Hydra turret as the side build. I’m excited to see what Lego will do, but with it being a 42 set piece I don’t even know what they can do. I’m also expecting the figure to be a repeat. I’ve learned from the Iron Man match last year.
