  1. When I bought the 42127 set this was the first alternate I could think of. I finally had some time to work on this. I hope you all like it. I used the Forza Motorsport version of this classic Hot Wheels as inspiration. Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-176634/A_Great_Builder/bone-shaker/#details
  2. Thanks! The flames was a last minute idea. During building I was thinking on using stickers but I am not good a creating stickers. The flames can be removed easily for a clean look at the car... I am not sure why Hot wheels MOCs are not that common... I think there are some great models in the lineup that will look amazing in Lego.
  3. This is my second alternative build of McLaren F1 42141. This time I was inspired by Dakar rally and I made a version of Sebastien Loeb's Prodrive RX Hunter. This is the 2022 version and just like all my Technic model based on a real car; I invested a lot of effort into making it as close as possible to the real counterpart. I was able to reproduce the position of the engine, The curved shaped roof, doors and even the spare tire!Functions:- Independent suspension in all wheels- V6 fake engine (located inside the cabin just like the real car!)- HoG steering- Opening doors (Butterfly doors)I am no good at stickers but I made a basic sticker sheet that I am including as optional. Can't wait for the Audi RS Q e-tron???Don't worry! This one will keep you busy. Instructions on rebrickable as always: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-152876/A_Great_Builder/prodrive-brx-hunter/#details
  4. I love classic space ships from the 80's and 90's and inspired by the rrecent release of the Galaxy Explorer set and the Blacktron remake I created this MOC as my version of a modern loking and redesigned Classic Space Ship. Will Lego launch a new Space theme? Well... you can make it happen. If you like this model; crowd support is open for voting until 3/31/2023. Intergalactic Patroller Space Ship Yes I am talking about the Bricklink's Designer Program Series 1. The contest required some limitations related to parts available and color selection. I decided to use a new palette to keep it within contests rules, but I also rendered a few options in "classic" colors. Support if you like what you see. Here is also a link to the video Showing all functions of the model: And here are the color variations just for Fun

[MOC] New Classic Space Redesigned (Intergalactic Patroller Space Ship)

  6. Hello Community! This is my most recent MOC. An alternative of set 42141. For this one I designed a Rat Rod. This was challenging as moving the engine to the front and raise the high of the engine was not easy due to limited gears on the set. And also the challenge of creating a HoG steering behind the seats and not centered. I am pleased with the car frame and I will use it to create more alternatives from this set. I also managed to create a roll-cage to provide a more "sport" feeling. Instructions here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-144550/A_Great_Builder/rat-rod/#details I hope you like the final look as much as I do... Features: -HoG steering -Exposed Fake Frontal V6 Engine -Independent Suspension -Opening doors
  7. Thanks... The name was something I was thinking a lot too. I chose Rat Rod because I am working in other project that is also a hot rod. Maybe adding stickers to make it look rusty? (I am not a fan of stickers)

Are they? If you do not consider the high of the stud, plates and tiles should be the same. Tiles may have a small round edge in the top but they are the same. Maybe the technique is considered illegal for plates because the studs cause a collision (I just test it!) Anyway, i did not know 21309 use that too. As for the rest of the X-wing; I do also feel there are too many studs on the wings... The rest look good.

[MOC] New Classic Space Redesigned (Intergalactic Patroller Space Ship)

ha ha, now that you mention it it kind of does. The story behind it is I was trying to add some decoration without using stickers and the shape was a nice angle for me.

[MOC] New Classic Space Redesigned (Intergalactic Patroller Space Ship)

Hey Feuer Zug! Thank you! I never had a set of M-Tron but the color scheme was amazing too. But... I did render this for you. I hope you like it!!! (and support the project too...)

    Thank you! Appreciated!
  13. I created 2 alternative builds for 42124. They both use the Control+ app to operate the vehicle. [MOC] 42124 B and C models

    I'm Glad You like them!
  15. Great to hear I am not the only one who wants to see the Batmobile! in regards to the transforming car my guess is for 2 motors (trust and steering) and a function that allows the car to "lift" something upon crashing a wall. Sweet tooth from Twisted Metal Black?
  16. I like this second list (I hope I am not the only one! ) If The Batmobile it's true this open the door for more variety within the Technic line. It could be the first of many fiction vehicles and it would be good for us as customers. (There are tons of vehicles from video games or movies I would like to see in Technic) A Formula E would be nice and it could be a return of Formula cars. It's been a while since the last Formula 1 technic set (2022 F1 will renew the entire design of the cars and this could be a good opportunity for TLG) Finally the 18+ is always something to look at (specially at that price range) And I don't lose my hope to see a new Pneumatics backhoe... maybe a 18+ one?
  17. If the list is correct. What will be the flagship of H1? 42139?
  18. Probably true. And if that is the case I am a little disappointed as I've been waiting for a good size backhoe using pneumatics. On the other hand, price is attractive...
  19. Sharing my most recent MOC of the set 42123. I hope you like it! I was able to replicate the transversal rear mounted engine and the opening hoods. I am happy with the final look of the car given the limited amount of parts from the set. Also the model size limits the options and I have to admit that the the spoiler of the car and the front were a challenge as the original car has some sleek curves.Functions:-Rear mounted transversal V6 engine-HOG steering-Opening doors-Opening front and back hoods Instructions: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-86283/A_Great_Builder/mat-stratos-42123-c-model/#details
  20. Thank you! I am glad you like it!
  21. This is an alternative build (C-model) inspired by the Peacemaker from Mad Max's Fury Road (2015 film) The instructions are 2 PDF files. The first, includes the steps to build the chassis (this is a replica of the car tank built and used for the movie) The second PDF includes the instructions on how to complete the model by building the bodywork. I included a mount base for display. Model is functional with or without the bodywork. I made an effort to make as realistic as possible and therefore the model is manual. i will upload versions of this using Power Functions and Control +, But I am working on other models for now. Instructions available at Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-67431/A_Great_Builder/peacemaker-42069-c-model/#details Functions are: Full tracked independent suspension Central V8 engine Double differential steering "Hand of God" Turret (turns with engine's torque) Manual axle (to manually add torque to the system) Mount display Detachable bodywork PD. I made a YouTube video but it was one of my first videos ever and it's not as dynamic as my most recent video. Eventually I will create a shorter video once I have the motorized versions.
