Universal project code. The barcode on the package for North America. i could use it to check my companies inventory for my store, and see if it’s arriving next week.

Does anyone have a upc for the battle for hogwarts set? does brick set list UPCs?

Wasn’t the death eater in The Battle of Hogwarts set also the DaD professor for years 7 ? So at least we now have all 7 of them. But now I doubt we’ll get all four house ghosts.

Now that the Battle of Hogwarts set is on the Lego site, where can I find the official image of the combined castle that leak a few weeks ago?

I wonder if there is a retailer exclusive contract putting some roadblocks in the way of the reveal. Haven't we had in the US both Barnes & Noble and Kohls have retail exclusives on some of the Harry Potter Lego sets?

Because it’s all so bland and each set is still in the shadows of the 2018 sets. The 2018 quidditch set is by far the better play set compared to the quidditch trunk. The Battle of Hogwarts on its own is flat and odd. At first it’s really exciting to see the combined set you can make if you turn it into the viaduct, but it breaks several of the display and play features of the sets. as much as I want to set up a giant display like the one they have pictures of, the 2018-2020 sets are still better looking, the great hall is better, the clock tower is better, the Astronomy tower is better. I feel like if I use the chamber of secrets to lift up the 2018 great hall sand use the BoH s as a via duct I can skip most of the 2021-23 castle sets.

That targets collectors, people wanting a play set will want to set up a team against a team, so three from one house three from another.

That's the point where it's best to stop buying the releasing and MOC those last two rooms. Hermoine's Polyjuice Mistake can be found for $15 two of those plus a troll you're good to go on the Troll in the Bathroom.

Am I crazy to want a few more visible studs on the train? It's awesome they were able to tile everything, but I like my lego sets to look like Legos. That's the same reason the BTTF Delorean was an easy skip for me, If I want a screen accurate Delorean or HE I'd buy a scale model.

In the past decade there has been a new genre in collectables. It's the "single purchase collection piece" and it's right around $500. This is the 25 year old who puts the UCS falcon on his wedding registry, and has no other sets. This is the 45 year old who buys a single transformer, master piece Optimus Prime and puts it on a shelf in his office. I've seen families who picked up the microscale Hogwarts as their only HP set when it came out. Voltron has had multiple $500 editions in the past few years. There is an upcoming $500 diecast star ship enterprise that serves the same purpose. As odd as it seems $500 is a price point that people are willing to spend on a single item, and often it's not the people who collect those items it's people looking for a single item from that genre. I think this set will pretty well, but it will be mostly to people outside of the HP Lego fanbase.

It seemed pretty big in the rumor. The rumor was that the train could be opened to show four different scenes. I thought it was going to be an engine and a train car, but twice as big in both dimensions. So you up up the front left half of the train car to see one scene, the back half for another, then turn the entire thing around and open up the other side to see the others.

I would love that, my family just saw the play and it was a fantastic experience. But there seems to be a wall between the play and the WB movies. Nothing could be from the movies, House crests had to be different, even the sorting hat had to be a bowler hat rather than the pointy witch hat from the movies. Lego's license for Harry Potter is through Warner Brothers so I'd guess Cursed Child is a no go.

Start with the Disney Train and Station that sold for $330 and start looking at what could add $100 Inflation from precovid to post can cover part. A second station build could cover it as well. So Train, 9 3/4 and a Hogsmead station would do it.

The oddest feeling I have about these kits, is that I want the Shrieking Shack less now that I see it has the womping willow. I mean, including it makes so much sense for the story and for play value. And the older womping willow set has been retired for a while so every who missed out on it will be excited to get a womping willow. But I look at that set, and I see the tree and I just think, I have that already.
