  1. Hi! I decided to build a modern, powerful locomotive to my Lego City. I don't want to build a lego monster with extra long, and extra weight, that cannot turn on curves. My goal was to create a traditional lego city locomotive, with the most powerful solution, that can handle with 1 IR receiver. This picture was the idea, but this is not a real train yet. Maybe later Siemens will build same trains. My train has this PF components: 4 PF train engine under the train (1 pieces of 9v motor has rebuilded with PF motor, so with 9V rail don't need batteries) 3 PF cable 1 battery box 1 IR receiver 2.0 The IR receiver can control the 4 engine with maximum output, and can pull, or push ~30 train car easily. Endless: the locomotive based on the set 7938 but needed lot of extra pieces.
  2. Earlier, I have built a Non-articulated bus with full of pneumatics. I have a bigger dream ever since this project, to make a bigger, more complex bus. It is not the biggest yet on my dream list, but there are new functions, that I can use in the later models. This is an articulated Ikarus bus, with 3 axle, with full of pneumatics. More, than the solo version. Functions (i would build them) - Pneumatic suspension on all axle, with raising, lowering funcion. Both side, but seperate control. - HOG Steering for the front "A" axle - Forced steering on the "C" axle - Automatic pneumatic compressor for the suspension - Pneumatic control for 4 door - Automatic pneumatic compressor for the doors. - Maybe master switch for the doors, and the both side of suspension control. - Articulated center (i need develop a working model) - New color design (newer, better colors. Hungarian blue-white color sheme) I think, the model size would be over 1 meter, or more, but I'm curious, what can I do :) The color sheme will the same:
  3. Some better pictures: The roof control units: The articulated unit made from hard paper: The compressed air suspension is working fine :)
  4. Finally installed the articulated unit: I will do a good quality video with the functions.
  5. Some paperwork finally. 2 item from this will do the articulate unit. Paper, but flexible, and made without cut anything. It is from 1 piece of hard paper. These are the last parts and finally it's DONE I use pneumatic "T" connectors and technic pins to hold on place the unit.
  6. It is 99,99% done, need only to do a rubber corridor. The size does matter :) Here is a Model Team 5550 for reference size. And the return of the Jedi's:
  7. Just a quick photo, at weekend I make better pictures.
  8. Between 15 and 20 meters pipe have been used.
  9. Nearly end of the projekt: Need only to develop the rubber corridor. All attachment point is done for the corridor, the pneumatic functions work well.
  10. There is a shematic. 3 levels of tubing, with other functions. So not too complicated, but need to test a little bit :)
  11. Here is the tubing between the front and the rear unit. Needed to create a flexible system, that can rotate, when the bus is steering. Can add "multi level tubing" name of this creation :)
  12. I'm in the finish line. All bodywork is ready, only need to finish the difficult tubing. I'm ready with the 1/4 of the tubing, I think. My plan is to finish in this year :)
  13. Under the "hood" I have started the tubing
  14. I know, need a better camera, but here are the pictures about the middle section. On the roof, there are stabilizer arms, such as in the real world :) It is only visual effect, but behave as the real Next step to install all of the pneumatic tubes, I hate it :(
  15. The structure of middle section is almost done, Tomorrow I take pictures. The rubber corridor is the most difficult: I could work with only lego pieces, but it would not realistic. I choose other way, I will use black hard papers, and do some origami. It will be fine, such as the real :)
  16. Maybe close enough, but always need to order other parts too. Usually I chose interesting, and rare colors :)
  17. I have 2 spare Arocs set, so it is possible to use this shield. But, what do you think about a red remote controlled ikarus trolleybus? It is other big plan. 14 function, with 7 function switch with at least 8 motor. It is other big plan :) Don't link any picture, it will be surprise later. :)
  18. One of my next projects is a full remote controlled Capacity Bus :) Size is a problem. This articulated ikarus is 1 meter long, Capacity with 4 axle will be bigger :S So it is a huge project.
  19. I'm happy, that people follow my work, and they like it. So, later I will make a video. :)
  20. Arrived some white parts. There is better looking now:
  21. Some picture, but need to order some white panels and liftarms :) All pneumatics function on the roof. Manual and electric pumping function, and lot of pneumatic switches. Switches to all door, and rise/lower the chassis - and combinations (all door at the same time, all rising pump at the same time) I will build 3 removable hoods, these will hide the switches.
  22. It was some delay, but I'm working again on the bus. Roof is under construction now, and maybe I will done before the end of the year. :)
