    [MOC] Ninja Turtles Sub

Looks great! Looks like it can be a real set, the interior details are great and I like we're Donatello drives the ship. Great job!

    Which set should I buy?

Im torn between the Star wars imperial shuttle and getting both the maersk train set and Diagon alley. Which is almost the same price, what is a better buy? Whats more collectable and whats a better build? Thanks

Okay so I have saved eneough money to blow on a new set. Which set do you recommend for the best eol(end of life) value. Mind you I own atleast 2 of each of the following. Maersk train set, any of the current modulars, tower bridge, ucs r2-d2, helms deep, haunted house, vw van, sopwith camel, unimog, 4x4 crawler, the shuttle expedition, and or anything I missed that you might recommend? I love them all but am considering the maersk cause I have not built it yet. I do have the emerald night which does prevent me from wanting to build the maersk but if its not gonna be worth as much as something else I can hold off.

Hmm very tough one for me. If you own any of the other modulars, I say get town hall. Otherwise get the amazing haunted house. honestly though you need to get both. They will both be legends 5 years from now
  5. Depending on the piece in the loose pieces bag, some were effected as well. There is no turning back now I am almost finished rebuilding it. Though I have read somewhere where someone had a similar incident and ended up just gluing all the pieces together. I cant do that, the pieces deserve proper burial:( Oh well you live and you learn.
  6. So I went camping this weekend and left a moc in progress in my car. The temperature outdoors was over 100 degrees so it had to be almost double that in the car. The moc was in a sealed plastic box and the pieces in zip lock bags. When I got home to work on it, the moc basically crumbled in my hands. Im not talking about into dust, but the pieces hardly connect, lost its clutch power. Its so weird and unfortunate. I dont like to glue pieces so now im rebuilding the moc with brand new pieces. Has this ever happened to anyone? Is there a remedy I can use to recover the clutch power lost? Thanks ahead!
  7. I know its a popular choice here but I too would take the 10179 UCS Millenium Falcon. How could you not! It looks to be an amazing build, it looks amazing and is highly collectable.

hey I was curious to what would be a better buy/build/value between "the tower bridge" or two smaller sets, "the royal joust" and "the medieval marketplace"? Thanks ahead

    Modular Madness

Can the building be a copy of a real building, kinda like the architecture series but in modular or minimodular form?

Help, Im stuck between the Royal joust, Shuttle Expedition, or the VW camper van. Mind you I own all three already and have built two, I just want doubles for collectors value and or parts.

    Architecture Contest: The Getty Center

I think it is so cool that you chose the getty. I live like 15 minutes away from it and take my family there all the time, and we always have a blast! It is a rather complex building and I think you did a good job!

    Architecture Contest: Sifang Art Museum

Thanks Artizan, To get the model to curve counter - clockwise down was a tough task... for myself at least. I experimented with all types of techniques, at one point I was using a ton of technic pieces to get the job done. As the building got longer I had to change my approach. Eventually doing without any technic for a more favorable, simple, and more effective solution (Ill show in pics after the contest is over)
