I think it would look good on the other side of the PR. so the Birch tree is by the staircase.

All good, I knew what you meant . I didn't realize DO was just a kitchen. hehe, I need to get all my sets back up... I need a house where I have a lego room, it has been determined.

I have people packs that are general business ones I could totally use in this town, with these having larger back areas, I can finally put the lawn mower mini-figure somewhere! Also, I have a park bench that could go back there too. This is too exciting and I need this NOW! Then I need to buy a house so I have room to set up my legos again

bottom of your list CC should be CG. And didn't DO have an apartment in it as well? That is where the cookies were being manufactured. I still want to see a Post Office. I have post office people and we have mail boxes. So far, the only post office is the one in the Winter Village. Aside from that I would love to see the following: School (old style with the desks on the back side of the chairs like they had in the 50s and 60s), clinic/hospital, police station (like fire brigade but I am thinking like the one in Chicago Blue tv show with a main office/front desk downstairs with a side area or back of jail cells, offices upstairs and maybe a third floor with jail cells or something), a museum with old lego history would be epic! I have a museum of sorts with the SWAT team, but it just isn't the same or nearly large enough.

Makes sense to me. I like them all, but I am also the weirdo that strings $2.50 battery operated white LED Christmas lights through all my buildings so they light up. Then you can't open them though. I discovered this BEFORE learning about https://www.lightailing.com/ Which I want to now invest in for ALL my modular buildings Is it just me, or does anyone else miss these only using the smiley face mini-figure heads? Just me? OK, cool! While the new ones with beards and lipstick and expressions are great too, I like how these particular sets had that classic feel to them. I once got angry with a mini-figure pack that had the heads printed on both sides but for some the hair or had did not cover the second expression. So I went on the pick a brick and bought a bunch of heads that were one sided to fix the problem.

    Everything in Lego is "little"

If anything, I would want to make the crawlspace the size of a full basement, but that would mean extending the staircase up front and inside as well to match it. Then, add a cement floor down there with a drain or grate plate so it looks like a slab. Maybe a few barrels of biscuits or cookies from the DO to show that is happening all over town and not right under the detective's nose.

Birch trees have smooth, white bark with some darker colors in them.

I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! This review gives those who want the inside look of detail a better view. I think it lacks a little in interior, like the basement crawl space, but at the same time it leaves room for those of us who want to add things to it. I wish there were more bricks of actual books, but that would be a nice added poly that is accessories for this. Loving the colors and this guy shows it next to PR. I know what I am getting January 1st. There was a basement crawlspace in another one, I think the PS actually, and it had nothing really in it, at least this one is using the space for storage. I still love it and don't want to wait until January!

I like this idea as I missed the green grocer and the cafe corner (I think that was the hotel) there was one more in there too that was blue I believe. Anyway, I had the green grocer on my list for Christmas one year, back when the website wasn't really a thing and there was just the call in magazine/catalog. And when my dad went to order it, it was retired so he got me the fire brigade instead. I get a set every year for Christmas just about and this year I got the gingerbread house but he got it for me early saying I needed it now for my winter village. I wish those two in particular would come back but be different, different color, more details for the cafe corner, etc., not because I missed out on getting them, but more so because getting any set after it is retired, new in box cost a small fortune.

HAHA! All I have had is the old track, then when the new came out I was like, why would I want a wireless one? It will die faster than I can purchase batteries or charge it. The hospital was 30% off for Brick Friday so it gave me an excuse to get it. I should have got 2.

I heard about that! That would be fun to build I think. There is a guy out here in Vegas that has legos built into the walls in his house and one is the Omnia Nightclub. He might not be in Vegas, he may be in LA but I saw that and now I want that in my house when I get a house.

I saw the new City Police Station for 2020 and was rather disappointed. I like the ones from the late 80s early 90s that had base plates. I had the Police Headquarters from like 1990 but I was 7 so I lost a few of the pieces (not the people) and it was well played with. I just got the most recent hospital (as I mentioned in a comment above this) and I have yet to put it together but I love that one when I saw it in the store and got to take the display window down and play with it. I am 36 now and still collect legos and still set them up and create scenarios like fires or accidents or I have had robbers robbing the Brick Bank. If I had the room, I would have everything set up because they still fascinate me. I have 3 trains (the yellow with blue windows, the santa fe and the marsek) and the old school track with the metal rails =) Other City sets coming out I would totally put with my modulars --- the street sweeper, and the bulldozer construction, the ice cream truck, the service station (for the cars), and the tuning workshop could have so much more but I also understand from a designer point of view, they leave them open for the imagination too. I always joke I am the + on the 6+ age listing =)
