[MOC] CAT D7R LGP Bulldozer (with PF)
timslegos replied to Dennis Bosman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I remember this model from when you first published it! I am curious as to how you constructed the pnuematics system considering those cylinders have only one input. tim- 13 replies

For the quick connector, is the spacing enough on the end that an axle will slide in? I would love to have this part if it works out. tim -

That would be too large for any of my MOCs, but it looks great! How about making the top piston have 2 axle/pin holes? tim -

I might be the only one, but i think the current cylinder holding design is too bulky. I think it would be a lot more useful if the beams did not extend past the end of the circle. Looks spectacular otherwise! tim -

I think you should make it a surprise! Also, I am surprised you have so many gears in the steering system. When I introduced gears into the steering system in a truck that I am working on I got major backlash, and the wheels never quite returned to center. tim -

Finally someone else who uses linked pendular suspension! I too used it in my last MOC, and I think it makes for great axle movements. Also, I am quite impressed with the steering mechanism. I have definitely never seen that before! tim -

What type of finish would work the best? I would think the polished would allow for smoother rotation, but it might make the mounting points too weak. tim -
