  1. Did they include the millions of stickers into the part count when they are calculating PPP to get a price range? Because that is the only logical thing I could think of for a price like that.
  2. Paper. For the simple reason that lego can and are played without technology. That means children don't have to keep staring into a screen all day long whenever they are building lego, and also those areas where electronic devices and internet is not exactly a basic need can still enjoy with lego. On a personal selfish note, I will still expect paper for A models minimum. 1) My workdesk is not where I play my lego (I play 'em anywhere where space constrains are not a concern), and the smartphone is too tiny to view instructions for long. 2) With paper instructions, I can take in the whole page in one glance. WIth the tiny smartphone screen, I need to swipe around all the time and can't take in the whole picture in a single glance. 3) Another point is I can also leave the page there, then come back later exactly where I left off. You can't do it on your smartphone. No worries about low on battery juice, or dangling USB charging cables. 4) Sometimes I tend to "fastforward" or "backtrack" around the instructions. For reasons like figuring out what it is suppose to look like, or fixing errors, or doing "live modifications", etc. It is faster and more efficient on a paper booklet. And no, please don't ask me to buy a tablet. I have no use of tablets, lesser the reason on getting a tablet JUST to enjoy my lego.
  3. With inaccurate steering system, no suspension, and another empty shell. But on the bright side, it will come motorised as standard. Question is what type of control will they choose. I would like to disagree. It would still be better for TLG to maintain the two controller types, the programmable smartphone app and the physical handheld controller. No doubt the smartphone app is no match for its versatility and flexibility, RC fans and lovers would generally prefer to have a physical controller. Touch function can never replace muscle memory when it comes to the focus of RC joy. That is the reason why I hunted down 42030 and refuse to buy 42099. The smartphone app would definitely be better for multiple functions and setups, this I agree.

Recommendation Of Sets With PF IR Remote

Thanks for the information! 42030 is the volvo front loader, while 41999 and 9398 are rock crawlers. Seems like they exist in all-terran vehicles only so dar. What is the difference between the first and second version? Are there any real upgrades or just cosmetic changes?
  6. Are there any sets that has PF parts that include a servo motor, IR receiver, and IR remote? I am trying my hand on RC vehicles. Have considered on the 42070 tow truck, but if there are smaller sets that include what I need, I am open to them.
