Hmm that's interesting. I found the name of this original Cedric actor (Joe Livermore) but it's really tricky to find pictures of his, as it comes up with pics of Robert Patterson. I'm just happy to see more Quidditch uniforms, especially as the Diagon Alley set is so expensive. I know in the films we never see Ravenclaw in a Quidditch match, but it'd be cool to get Cho Chang in her Quiditch outfit, as she was the Ravenclaw seeker. Maybe they could do a Quidditch student pack. Other characters who I can think of from the films who would be cool to get (either in or out of Quidditch outfits): Angelina Johnson: Only appears briefly in GoF when Fred asks her to the ball, but a recurring character in the books. Katie Bell: Don't remember seeing her in any Quidditch scenes, but she does appear when she gets curse in HBP. Cormac McClaggen: Although in the films he doesn't get to be on the Quidditch team, only tries out the once, it'd be cool to get him as a minifigure. Also might be nice to get Ginny and Ron in their Quidditch robes too. Wish the film gave more spotlight to Ginny's tomboy personality (we only see her on a broomstick for a split second in the Quidditch tryouts scene in HBP).

Ah yeah. Proving my point how the films ignored the corporeal patronuses forms.

Well yeah the films made some of the corporeal patronuses less concrete. When we first see Harry's stag patronus it just stand still rather than galloping around. (amazing how the film neglected to mention James Potter was a stag animagus and why him, Sirius and Peter became animagi in the first place). Also Kingsley's Panther patronus was downgraded to a ball of light in Deathly Hallows. I think the most likeable animal patronus we are going to see would be Snape's Doe (and/or Lily's of you want) as it was actually seen in the films and mentioned. It could be included in a small set with a tent build, Harry, Ron, the sword of Gryffindor, the doe and maybe a horcrux build with spiders.

I think it's a bit of a cheat for Lego to make a really expensive Diagon Alley set, which should be the definitive set, leave out buildings like Gringotts and the Leaky Cauldron, only to sell them individually later.

Hmm interesting. I will be a bit surprised if we do get the PS/CoS iteration of Professor Flitwick as they say we are.

Watching AshnFlash and just2good's reviews of the Diagon Alley set I've noticed a few good book and/or film accurate details included that aren't too obvious. In Weasley Wizard Wheezes there's: - A print with a magician and cards, representing their muggle magic range that people like Arthur Weasley love - A little geode piece, probably to represent the Peruvian instant darkness powder - The Basic Blaze box prints for their fireworks - Sticker on the side with an Edible Dark Mark design Daily Prophet: - A couple of posters saying: He who must not be named returns, and Terror at the World Cup Flourish and Blotts: - Accurate signs with Dragons and Alchemy sections.

Just noticed the new glass bowl piece from the CMF series (with Ginny) in the DA set, looks like Ron with one of Florean Fortescue's famous sundaes.

I think a Borgin and Burke set would be a bit annoying after the extremely pricey DA set. I'd much prefer a polybag for the PS Harry we've seen.

Okay, it was utterly pointless for LEGO to include the Daily Prophet Offices as all they've made is a door. The 'interior' is just a cobweb and a newspaper.

Yes the photographer does because he's short. As he works for the daily prophet maybe that's why we're getting the offices. Ginny is from the same Flourish and Blotts scene, as she's about to go into first year she hasn't gotten her robes yet. I guess they wanted an all Flourish and Blotts matching Harry, Ron, Hermione and Draco set of robes which is quite accurate to the scene.

So, Florean Fortescue was definitely the most surprising character. Everyone else is from Chamber of Secrets, except Ollivander (PS) and the Fred and George (HBP) designs. Quite surprised this isn't the set with the leaked Harry figure comes in. The one based off PS with the oversized clothes from the Dursleys.

Yeah, I already love the diary that came with Dobby in series 1, and I'm glad we're now getting the in tact version with writing on the page. The advanced potions book is great too. But odd how there's a brown version in the Astronomy Tower set though. Love the attention to detail with the Sectumsempra too. Oh yes. Great suggestion. It should definitely have a 1x2 tile with a bit of three brothers story on it/illustration of it.

Ginny would be good too (as she is given Tom Riddle's diary in Flourish and Blotts. I think Rita Skeeter should be in it, as I honestly can't remember if the DP offices are in the books or films. Scribbulus is another place I don't recall being originally in the books/films. I think that's my pet peeve about the set is how it's basing it more off of the Orlando studios rather than solely film/book details. Florean Fortescue's okay but his inclusion in the film is basically non existant. I think it'd prefer a shop like Eyelop's owl emporium (we do see it in PS), Madam Malkin's (as it does feature in the books quite a bit), the Magical Menagerie or even the Apothecary. Idk, maybe I'm just too book focused. Well, I'm just glad we're getting Flourish and Blotts as I think it's a great location and it means we get Lockhart.

My (metaphorical) money's on the new torso being the photographer from Flourish and Blotts, he was a fairly memorable part of Lockhart's first scene. Plus the stripes and tie match. So, so far we have: Harry, Florean Fortesque and the photographer. I'm guessing we'll have these characters: - Hagrid (to go with Harry) - Olivander (basically necessary) - Gilderoy Lockhart (essential) - Hermione and Ron (obviously) - Fred and George (as we're getting Weasley Wizard Wheezes) - Rita Skeeter (personal hope instead of a generic Daily Profit Wizard) - Tom the innkeeper (hunchback version from PoA probably low likely than PS) - Lucius and/or Draco (would be a nice inclusion) - And probably one or two more generic wizards (for Scribbulus Writing Supplies)

Hmm, it's possible. One dungeon section on the bottom, then a clear room with a fireplace and moving chandelier? Characters could be: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Lucius, Malfoy and either Narcissa or Bellatrix. However, Malfoy Manor only appears twice and that's in the last couple of films. Whereas Privet Drive appears in 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. Plus I can't imagine the building being very exiting, just a dark grey and black building with not much character. I think it's unlikely we'd get a set.

Bit surprised there's more Myrtles, Griphooks and Dumbledores than Harrys but I'm not complaining those three are in my top 5 most wanted characters. The other two are Kingsley Shacklebolt and Professor Sprout.

I don't really mind if they just use the same Ollivanders minifigure, as it'd still be pretty exclusive what with the DA set being so expensive. I'm just personally hoping for a Percy minifigure as I think he's a really interesting character, expecially in Chamber of Secrets (book) as he appears alot as a possible candidate for who opened the chamber.

I got that piece but funnily enough I don't have a Sirius Black minifigure. I've got a few decent parts out of BAM. The sweater for Vernon Dursley in the Privet Drive set I got ages ago in a BAM station. It's also where I get some dress pieces, both plain and printed which is half decent for robes in the wizarding world. (think I found a red printed one that was included in one of the expensive Chinese sets)

That's a good point actually I hadn't thought about. I often thought that set was the odd one out. 1. It doesn't have Harry, Ron or Hermione. 2. We get new versions of 3 characters that we don't see anywhere else. 3. We get an exclusive Gabrielle Delacour which doesn't appear anywhere else. 4. As you said new moulds that don't appear anywhere else.

At firstbi was confused about Harry, Ron and Hermione'alternate faces as they looked disgusted/scared then I worked out they're based off when the trio go in the Three Broomsticks and see Ginny with Dean => disgusted. Or it's meant to be when Katie Bell gets cursed => scared. I like how they're a bit different to the normal scared face as we get so many generic smile and generic scared faces. I'd like to see more unique faces like laughing, crying, embarrassed, confused, eating etc.

Yeah. When I said about the Resurrection stone versions, I meant all grey and ghostly. And maybe I'd be more approving of Helena and the Bloody Baron if they actually kept in their proper plot line from the book. Also the Bloody Baron is described as being covered in silver coloured blood and wrapped in chains. Idk if Lego would really want to make that.

I think it's unlikely we'll see any more Ghosts from the HP series on sets or cmfs as the only other ghost who gets a speaking line is Helena Ravenclaw and I don't know if Lego would really bother with her. As for the Bloody Baron and the Fat Friar, they basically get a 5 second cameo in PS and the Bloody Baron didn't really live up to his sinister nature then. And I think it'd be extremely unlikely to get the sort of ghosts Harry sees when he uses the resurrection stone as that's a bit dark for Lego.

Good point about Kingsley, I thought I saw a slight smile in one picture and a serious face in another must've been just a grainy picture. That's good to know about Dumbledore. Myrtle is definitely in my top 3 to get (Kingsley and Dumbledore are the other two). Love the blue hair piece and the inclusion of the new transparent piece to give the illusion of floating.

One really good thing I've noticed in the CMF series is how many figures have double sided faces: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Moaning Myrtle, Professor Sprout, Bellatrix all definitely have double sided faces from what I can tell. And by the looks of it, I think James Potter, Kingsley, Luna and maybe you could count Fred and George all having double sided faces too. So that would be a total of 11 out of 16 characters with double sided faces. Also anyone else love how we get an undamaged version of Tom Riddle's diary, with a 1x2 saying My name is Harry Potter, and underneath Hello...

Does anyone else think that the torso and leg print on Ginny looks a little like the print on Queenie's outfit, with the black heals and wavy dress?
