IMHO, those custom gondor helmets don't look too good. They're a bit too tall I think.

I got 2 sticker sheets and 2 sets of wings for Hawkman in the Javelin set, is that normal? I have the Green Lantern set and I must confess it is my favourite super heroes £20 set ever! All the figs are amazing, and even the jet is very cool. The javelin too is also very good, as are the minifgures. My only quibble is that Darkseid's hovercraft is terrible. Why does it have the rotating base? He always falls off backwards, you can never make it balance....

You know what, while I am dissapointed, I appreciate TLG's effort to bring us niche characters, like the Mouth of Sauron, Gandalf the White, Saruman, army of the dead, Arwen etc. While I am dissapointed that we did not get any Gondor sets, I see that it is easy to recreate Minas Tirith, Gondor soldiers, Eowyn and Faramir while sets like the pirate ship/black gate/certain figures might be harder to make.

(OT: If you switch to the USA Lego store, add the DC sets to your basket then return to the UK store, they will still be in your basket and you can buy. ) I think our only hope is Lego Ideas, if you haven't already made an account and supported the main LotR ideas, shame on you!!

What? Avengers was a very good wave. A few of the minifigures were a bit off but apart from that it was a brilliant wave.

Stewart Lee is my favourite comedian. He does a lot of satire if you like that. Eddie Izzard comes very close second. Death state canteen is brilliant!

I remember some people did this with the Uruk-hai some time ago, but I want to do it again for both Uruk-hai and Orcs. The different choices for uruk hai: 2 x heads 4 x helmets (helmet, long black hair, new orc hair, helmet with white hand) 2 x bodies (normal and armour) 3 x shields (no shield, shield, shield with white hand) 2 x weapons That's a total of 96, not bad considering uruk-hai look much the same in the movies. Now orcs, I'll start with the original orcs. I will include the Hobbit goblin's faces and head molds, but not their bodies, since they are very unique and incompatible. 4 x heads (original, hobbit goblins x 2, new BO5A head) 5 x helmets (Hair + ears, goblin head, new black hair, uruk black hair, uruk helmet) 4 x shoulders (quiver, hobbit bone necklace, armour , nothing) 2 x shields (uruk shield + no shield) 5 x weapons (axe, orc sword, bow, uruk sword, spear) 1 x torso 2 x legs (hunter cloth, normal dark brown legs) This equals 1600. Whoever said lego didn't give us enough variety, eh? Although this does include some variations that don't work such as armour/quiver + long black hair, although this number is easily made up by introducing even more variations such as helmets from other castle themes or other weapons that I didn't include such as halberds, normal short swords etc. Now for the new orcs from the hobbit. 2 x heads 4 x helmets 4 x shoulders 2 x shields 5 x weapons 1 x torso 2 x legs (including plain dark brown legs) That's 640! What about the old orcs/trolls from the Fantasy theme? 1 x head 6 x helmets (2 silver helmets, 2 long black hair, uruk helmet, no helmet 2 x torsos 3 x shields (troll shieldm uruk shield, no shield) 5 x weapons 1 x leg That's 180! There you have it, I now set someone the challenge of creating this army of 2516 orcs! Feel free to add your own unique soldier count for other armies. Vikings, crown knights etc.

I think it'd be good if we at least got another fantasy theme so we could get some more orcs to make our Sauron's armies a bit more diverse

Almost at the mid-season finale of The Flash and I must say I'm absolutely loving it. It's so true to the comics and it's such an enjoyable watch.
